Attach a controller... That is the only way to remove the on-screen joysticks... Unfortunately, there is no way to remove all of the UI on android.

So i recently (today) got a tab a7 and was like wow i can play sky on this instead of my phone (phone works fine btw) well turns out the resolution is awful and everything is jagged blurry and pixelated at the edges, is there a way to fix this? Or do i just live with my phone

its a pretty straightforward question, cobalt. hardware bridging on an x86 android via libhoudini is not emu. but hardware bridging on a non-android (eg: linux) could imply emu use. whatever the case, Sky is meant to be played only on Android and iOS mobile devices, and I can see how you may have missed that out.

For those wondering:

Android S models of at least 8 and above seem to run Sky smoothly and easily with the ability to maintain 50-60ps or HD.

Samsung A models or similar will favor practical computing power, and will sadly struggle with a game like Sky.

On one of my android phone (Honor Play) the game just crashes as I take a picture from the in-game camera.
This happens quite often and it never happened on my other phone.

yep its a gpu thing (graphics processor). the bug first occured with the introduction of sactuary. back then the solution was to exit sanc, and restart your game to be able to take a pic w/o crashing. evidently sanc was the issue. many gpus struggled with the area. the fix may still work for both your phones. if it crashes, restart, then try taking the pic again. if it still persists. drop devs a note in #report-a-live-bug along with the area you're trying to take it in and your phone model. its possible that they've missed out fixes for certain areas accessed by lower end phone models

In addition... The resolution for a screen as large as the one on that tablet would have to be exponentially greater than the screen on your phone in order to look the same sharpness... Your phone could be down scaling it the same way as your tablet but you'd notice it less because of the smaller screen. Keep in mind the tablet just has normal everyday phone parts in it but with a large screen.

So to answer your question... You cannot sharpen the resolution of sky at this very moment in any way.

The Honor 20 can't have Google Play Games, iirc. Per the pins, any Huawei released after may 2019 will have some compatibility issues and the Honor 20 was released in June. Maybe it can't have the full Google Play suite for video capture.

Try tapping the bottom right corner of the screen. I'm not sure if it's different for Android, but at least on iOS the video button only shows when you tap the bottom right and not just any corner

it's not that they don't want low end devices to play the game, it's just that they physically cannot handle the game without permanently damaging the device. they worked for months to get the game to run on as many androids as possible. there are tons of cheaper options that can still run the game for those who cannot get more powerful devices where are those links

Sky's engine is custom-made, so there're probably some technical limitations and behaviours that are fairly unique to this game; one thing i do remember being mentioned is that this game doesn't actually use shadows, so that might have some impact on how the lighting behaves in terms of making the beam actually stop and not pass through objects

Since Android 7.0 Nougat, Google disabled the ability for apps to record your internal audio, which means there’s no base level method to record the sounds from your apps and games as you record the screen. Which also means that no app can detect internal audio of Android 7,8,9. Android 10 and above can record internal audio.

Currently Sky does not utilize the internal audio recording feature of Android 10. So the Sky app cannot detect internal audio and thus headphones cannot appear.

There is one key thing about Samsung devices that may be the culprit for blurry images... "Game optimization service" by default it runs the game at a lower resolution than the maximum resolution to preserve battery life and performance... You'll need to download something like "game plugins" from the Galaxy store in order to tweak these settings.

Yes and no. When it happened to me, I saved every child/statue (this was possible due to the wing counter never decreasing), however, when I restarted, many of them did not carry over, and the ones that did seemed to be randomly selected out of the ones I saved.

In short, there may be some that you will have to save again.

One, the Snapdragon 425 does not have Vulkan support.

Are they polarized? Usually, the polarization process darkens the glass. If not, that sounds like something is up with the digitizer of your screen.

If you know you have the funds, I'd try the wipe play store data and services data that ktjn has pinned. If that doesn't work, then try support. Current support response is 3 days per #known-issues and I am sure holiday they'd be closed, so might as well try that first.

Following those instructions won't cause any data loss of other apps. G play just has some oddities sometimes and clearing it's data and letting it reload can fix IAP issues sometimes.

Again, Alexdollyeti you don't know about what I am talking about. And this time I give it to you. My friend had an issue with paid items like latern and Beta cape, it dissapeared from his account and could not work with restore purchase and he went here to receive help but everyone just said that he lost it all and all that. So he did not get help here even on Support inside the game. He got help from Sky Official Page with mails support. So I am not trying to Insult. This is what happens here, everything took like Insult. But is my message is more to the ones who trying to help to be better or if they dont really know, to say other thing like "Someone will help you with that I cant sorry"

That's good that your friend got help. Official Sky support is the only way to get help with account trouble when self-recovery isn't an option. Members here can never help other than to suggest trying to contact the official support team. If official support can't help, then accounts could be unrecoverable, but people here have no way of knowing. I have read your first message and it is rude, laughing at members for not knowing how to help, suggesting that they lied or gave misleading information on purpose. Please know that anyone who offered advice probably did so with good intentions, so I recommend that you not feel upset that other players didn't know better how to assist.

Hey my s/o's phone isn't meant to be able to play Sky and gets a warning about it too when we play it together

With that in mind anyone know what mind be going on when she keeps getting rocketed into the air by any entities we should be able to ride on?

So, I did an extensive search and came up empty. So, I have quite a few star pins from the first pre-order. Both Pixel 3a's don't recognize the pins, even in an NFC scanning app. Tested with my amiibos and the tag cards I backed them up to (I keep them on the shelf and just use the cards). Tried my NFC reader on my PC. Same thing, all star pins I got aren't being read, Amiibos are. Is this normal?

Hi everyone, i recently reinstalled sky after i finally had a decent phone to run it. i noticed an issue, i don't know if it's a bug. Sometimes camera sticks to an angle and can't be moved for as long as 30 seconds. I noticed it happens in particular areas like when flying over the tunnel entrance at the start of the Valley. Is it a bug? does it happen to you too? thx

Google removed Internal audio recording for Android 7 and above so No app can ever detect internal audio and thus headphones cannot appear

Android 10 and above have a special internal audio recording feature. Currently Sky does not utilize that feature, if the Sky app decides to utilize the feature then devices using Android 10 and above can have headphones!

If you log into google and check your account settings there should be a list of things you’ve linked your google account to

#android-questions message are the required specs. Most likely the one you got isn't 64 bit. That is an issue with budget devices. It saves a bit of money to develop the phone as 32 bit compared to 64 bit. The build time alone on the OS is less than half the time for 32 bit compared to 64 bit.

I own a Redmi 7 one!! It runs Sky very well! (I do have that message at the beginning that I can't have a "smooth experience" but honestly it's not even bad).
I haven't tried on a Redmi Note 7 but my sister owns one and her games run very well too (since it has more RAM than a Redmi 7)

If you can contact any of your friends outside sky.. and that person contacts tgc customer care with the name they saved you on their constellaton/friendlist, TGC could recover your progress. This should be your worst case scenario and only if u lost the progress.

Yeah, those terms were put in place because there are people out there that would take advantage of more than one account... In fact there already is... But to prevent honest people from getting caught up in bans even when they're doing honest things, they put up those in the terms of service. It's not an unreasonable rule...
