Okay i need help i wanted to transfer my game onto another account, so i downloaded the game in the other device, i have linked the game to a google account, however i forgot to login to gmail in the other device so when i clicked on connect to gmail, it automatically connected to another gmail, and now i am unable to log in to the game with my current progress

How can i unlink the new gmail from sky so that i can log in with my gmail connected to sky?

There should be an unlink option available in your account settings.

If that doesnt work, clear your sky app data and restart the app with the correct gmail set as your phone's primary

since sky on android is quite new and ios was basically its whole life, it might take some or a long time to be optimized. Out of all my heavy games including MOBAs and FPS games Sky is so far the most battery draining and it's the reason why I just don't play after I do a candle run.

The only thing I can suggest doing to cause it to happen.... would be to repeatedly go to the forest and teleport home if it doesn't. But that kind of sounds tedious.

also glitches have a bigger chance of happening if the device that is playing the game has having a hard time keeping up with the game. Which was the case with that recording. I have not had any graphic glitches appear while playing on my Galaxy S7.

@frank steeple It might make performance suffer, but does your P30 have an option in battery to turn on battery saver? This would limit the frequency ceiling of both the CPU and GPU to save battery. The upside to this is reduced heat due to the lower clocks.

The other downside of that is it won't work while plugged in. (edit, can't turn on battery saver if it's using outlet power)

Yes I do! I actually try and play as much as i can with that "Ultra power saving mode" and i clean the cache every half a day.But unfortunately its the same story.The phone heats up a lot when playing in default mode. So I always play on low resolution mode.I have to say that sometimes even with that mode, the phone heats up to like, 35°C

and I also never play when the phone is plugged in

only in emergencies like times when my friends need my in game help

Odd it would still overheat. Unless Huawei didn't implement the governor correctly in the kernel, you shouldn't go over 1300 Mhz CPU clock (430Mhz GPU) with Battery saver on.

Most ARM CPUs can handle up to 60C no problem without much degradation. The real worry is the heat radiating to your battery and reducing it's life as they don't like being above 40C for long.

Try this. Go to settings, and look for all the app settings, and search for sky. In sky settings, go to permissions and see if storage permission is granted. I had similar problem and enabling storage permission fixed it

@fast hearth I have that exact tablet and I've been having problems such as crashing and laggging in areas like Eden and Wasteland despite having the lowest graphics settings. Plus the controls are so small on the tablet that sometimes it doesn't input my clicks.

I literally just put my phone on Power Saving Mode,note,not Ultra power Saving Mode but just Power Saving mode

More than likely, Android will never have the headphone cosmetic. It has more to do with how Android handles inter-app communication then anything. For example, would you want your banking app to know you're currently in a call or for Chrome to know what you're currently listening to. iOS devices handle things like that in a different way

You will not have a fun time playing Sky on an Android tablet. If you wanna play on a tablet just get the cheapest iPad and it'll be light years better than anything on the android side. Trust me, I have an Android tablet

If you want the best android Experience, find a Phablet with the closest to "stock" you can get. (Google Pixel phones, OnePlus and a few others run base AOSP source code with very minimal changes that won't affect gameplay)

Getting a heavily modified Android, like a Samsung running Touchwiz instead of base AOSP will have custom code that might cause more problems than solve.

The Android Development kit has an emulator for developers who don't own an Android to test their apps on. It runs the latest build of AOSP with no modifications. (Again, Pixel phones and OnePlus devices run this base as well with little to no modifications). If that isn't an option, as Lu said, it would be best to get iOS.

@prime ice I have seen your messages and I have to say that both platforms are good,and it just depends on the preferences.Cobalt said that the widgets are not a thing on IOS but its coming on IOS 14 along more features from Android. Apple may be expensive or just a money eater but people still buy it maybe for just one reason,the ecosystem.For me Android is too complicated but IOS is straight to the point. As you know the new SE came out and it maybe not have the best display or battery but for 400 $ it's totally worth it. And yeah it maybe has 3gb of ram but with the new A13 it's a whole new reset. Benchmarks show that the SE is even more powerful than the 11 pro . And that's only because of the IOS. It's all clean and it works hand in hand with all apps. Another good thing about IOS is the easy development of apps for this platform. It's harder for Android because there's multiple models and specifications.

Oh that happens a lot, the best thing you can do is go to settings and clear ya cache and clear data and redownload sky, but make sure he saved his recovery code so he knows where he left off without losing any game data

You should be able to just log out-log in just fine. Stored off device so you're not going to lose anything. May have to go into Google Play Games and turn off "automatic sign-in"

With switch, it is different as accounts are per "profile" saved in the switch. No need to logout. When you have multiple people on a switch, you select the game, then a menu comes up asking who is playing.

You should be able to do the same thing in Android as newer versions have "multiuser" mode.

Just login as a different user instead of logging out of the game

You don't need an app to know if you have a 64bit OS:
Go to 'Settings' > 'System' or 'About Phone' > 'Software Information' (or just search settings for 'kernel version') and check 'Kernel version'. If the code inside contains 'x64' string, your device has a 64-bit OS; if you cannot find this string, then is 32-bit.

Yeah, it is hard to find a mid range device that isn't 32 bit. Only one I know of that is 64 bit is the 3a and future 4a.

@ripe marsh sorry for the late reply. If TGC does a safetynet check, Android 11 beta will not work. Usually safetynet will not pass on the beta or developer preview until closer to official release. (Android 10 didn't get safetynet until Beta 4 in Sept 2019)
