There's no such thing as event candles but there are event tickets. However, you use regular in-game currencies for the current mini "event", Workshop Show and Tell.
This event for some reason doesn't have tickets just regular candle wax. But cmonnn 😭 I haven't even done my cr yet.

Yes, the most direct contact regarding game problems to devs is #report-a-live-bug and also you can contact psn support

What the heck are the orange candles if not for... the season event of the blue bird???
I legit haven't even seen the new ticket even cause I cant even log into the game ;.;
Seasons and events are entirely different thing, for example Blue Bird is a season and an event is like Days of Nature, Days of Feast (to name a few). The orange candles you see is for Season of Blue Bird, that much is true, however it is not an event, but a season.
While tickets are and can be used during an event, the current mini "event" we have now, which is 'Workshop Show and Tell' does not have to use tickets but regular in-game currencies (candles, hearts and AC's).
There are no Event Tickets, but players can gain Light by watching the Memories placed by others, plus a Heart if they place a Shared Memory of their own at any point during the event.
Well, then I am unable to collect tickets for the event* and candles for the season*
Because of a Playstation network error. That is genuinely what im more concerned about. Thank you for the name/title/term clarification.
Further correction: currently there are no event tickets, this is just a chill mini event. No event tickets to collect from but yes you might miss the seasonal candles

Hello! I'm not very sure if this is a question that can be asked here – but I just saw a comment on another social app saying they got banned from using another screen recorder (not the one in game) and it counted as a third party usage.
My question is if this can actually happen, because sadly the in-game recorder lags my phone and I have to use another, though lately I've playing on pc so I don't record much now. I don't want to do anything against the rules. Thank you
Hi! That's a misinterpretation. You can use that third party app recorder. Only those are not permitted which alter or disrupt the in-game mechanism.

Yes it is if you remember your sky id and or have contact to friends outside of the game that you befriended ingame. In that case support can recover your account

You need to do the in the following specific order:
- go to heart
- watch instructions
- open a shared space not a memory
- create a shared memory now inside the space

why does sky lagging on Second weakest quality and my phone is 8 ram
Sky needs relatively little ram but requires a well optimized strong GPU (not CPU)
no matter what i wear or for other skykids all i see is black clothes, it wasn't like this back then, is this a bug or a device problem?
The sad part is that I'll not be able to complete the event, because of the candles I've lost on those 3 days 😢😢
That's a graphics driver optimization issue for some androids. If you're on PC update drivers and restart the device
is there no way to fix it on android?
There are things you can do which even if not immediately but could be useful:
- contact your phone manufacturer about the issue. Mention them it's a Vulkan driver dependent game and mention them that most android devices don't have such a problem.
- #report-a-live-bug about it hoping that devs can find a workaround

I had sky on my mobile but now I wanna play on pc too so I created a steam account and ..... so the problem is that when I want to link my sky account to steam it proceeds normaly until the page that asks me to click sign in. When I click it the window closes, and sky account is not linked to steam. What should I do?
Excuse me, this post isn't related to what's happening on my end. I can't link my sky account to steam and that steam account isn't linked to any sky accounts (new or old).

Ok that's strange since normally only Facebook has a bug that prevents your account from being linked with new login methods. Then could you try clearing cache from sky, the standard browser you're using and then restarting your device and try trying again

Yes that's ok. If you would've been logged in with Facebook, then your problem would've maked sense easily

I tried logging for several days now. And can't do it. I did 2 bug reports. I also uninstalled the game and tried reinstalling it, shut my phone off and restarted it. But the most crazy thing is I tried to log into my other account on the same device and that did work but not my first account. What is wrong??

It's the steam login page conflicting with your phone's specific browser.
Try the following:
- download and install a new unused browser from Google Play Store
- set it up as new default browser
- turn off all of its content blockers and ad blockers
- restart the device
- try again

Certain chipsets are conflicting with the game currently. I encourage her to report it as a bug so devs can have more data about the issue

That's not Sky imo since Sky doesn't have a browser. Your previous phone must had a different android variant and screen resolution. As mentioned before, try the advice previously given

Hmmm are they completely fresh installed browsers, as previously mentioned? No cache, no data?
Chrome and Edge are often pre-installed and therefore you might have previously used them so they might store steam cookies and temporary files.
Edge wasn't pre-installed on my phone, so that one was definitely new
I opened it just long enough to check there was no ad block
I have one last tip: try Brave from the Play store and try setting it up on desktop mode. Then restart the device and try again

Maybe borrow a compatible phone and try to login from there -> link another method (Steam and Facebook are often not that reliable)

If you relive a spirit but don't light them, the star stays. It shouldn't stay longer than the instance you are in the room though. Other than this, I don't know if you will see it if other people are also doing a spirit quest around you. Stranger things have happened though.

Used to have the same problem, it was caused by the facebook login. Try to login to your account via a different method (email, for example) or unlink facebook and try again

If I unlink, will I lose my account? Or will I just unlink and be able to connect another account?
Sadly it is not working. It said something like "there is no other linked account to login" i couldn't unlink facebook... So it's kind of stuck
I think email/Google account aren't affected by this bug, do try to connect it with an email, login via email and try again

How do I log in on Android through Steam? By the time I return to Sky, it has shut down and restarts from scratch. I also can't use Steam Mobile Authenticator for the same reason; switching apps to confirm the login makes Sky shut down.
I managed it once after a bunch of finagling with the fallback SMA one-time-codes and picture-in-picture, but then it logged me out shortly after and I am suffering 🥲
I just want to link another account that doesn't require as much nonsense as Steam does to confirm the login.

Got a small, but really frustrating problem. Game started constantly crushing out after a couple of simple actions (opening constellation and lighting the candle, playing a couple of notes on piano, turning camera around and etc.) . Is there any possible solution to it? (Sorr if I write in a wrong channel)

Other than friending with candles
You can give someone a friend code to someone (or vise versa) and they enter it in the "sky codes" section in the menu. Then you will be friends with each other and have chat unlocked already

Controller advice pls? I used a Backbone controller on my mobile but it bricked. I was thinking of getting a new one (Backbone is on sale). Questions:
- Does anyone use Backbone with Android? Does it work with Sky?
- are there any other brands of mobile controllers that work with Sky?
Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Sky is the only online game I play. I play it on PS4, Switch and mobile. Mobile is my favorite, Switch has been most reliable but is my least favorite (lags). Thank you!
I use the DS4 and Gulikit King Kong Pro. No issues so far.
I've been using Terios, T-23 Pro, no issues so far. Recently got 8BitDo Ultimate 2 but haven't properly used it but for initial use, it's also great.
So you need a mobile controller for Android now? Given my experience with the iPhone version via Lightning, I think I'd trust Backbone for a premium Android mobile controller.
If you wanna explore other options, on my gaming phone I used either a Razer Kishi v2, or a Gamesir X3 Type C (non-pro). These are also popular brands you can't go wrong with 👍
To add, ASUS seems to also have a new folding mobile controller, though Gamesir just has mobile controllers in multiple different styles.

It pretty much depends on how the manufacturer could optimize the UI vs the chipset. It's completely normal that tablets and mobile devices behave differently with the same chipsets 
I use a Samsung S23 mobile. I had a Backbone for 2 years and now it won't calibrate. My avatar jumps in the water and starts swimming; I can't fly and I can't make it stop. After numerous convo with Backbone I'm assuming I damaged the left joystick and it's done.
I'm willing to try another Backbone, especially since they're on sale atm. I will check out the other controllers - I'm interested in the Asus, but I don't know if it'll play nice with Sky. Sky works well on mobile without the controller.

Holding share + ps button starts the DS4 pairing mode.
I think the name shows as wireless controller as the device name.

No need to connect to the ps app, i don't think sky is supported via the app as well. Let your phone recognize the DS4 as a wireless controller instead.

I tried saving it through telegram for better quality but sadly it turned black and didn't record anything, even sending it to my gallery it'll say file the was error or cannot be played, I tried saving it on files and it's the same..

Hi! Vivo is known for having poor Vulkan graphics drivers support and Sky is sensitive to that - you can try with a third party app, such as AZ Screen Recorder which is known to be bug proof , however, that doesn't remove the UI.

This isn't for me, but I have a friend that plays mobile on android. Whenever they try to do IAPs, it just tells them, "The item you were trying to purchase could not be found." Any ideas as to what could be causing this issue? Trying to get it lined out before the season starts
They have made sure that they have the funds and that a valid card is connected to their account. I'm personally not sure what is causing the issue.

Then sadly, it won't work because your device is not compatible. You need another device to be able to play with Sky. You can find the compatibility requirements pinned in this channel

I really cant understand why google play tells me sky is not compatible with my phone. I have Galaxy A13, with 4 GB RAM, how is it not compatible, is it a good idea to force download the game?
@vapid helm please don't discuss or encourage the use of APKs. Downloading illegitimate copies of the game is against the Terms of Service and could contain malware. Trying to use APKs will result in download problems and may result in account data loss and inability to contact TGC support. APKs cannot be used to bypass the device incompatibility.

Sky doesn't use much ram, it more depends on good optimization and a strong GPU, where the Samsung Galaxy A series often can fall short. Especially the A13, has always been lacking in performance in this channel and the bugreports, and it's not recommended to download it from illegitimate sources, because it can risk your account getting banned.
I recommend the following troubleshooting if it's a google bug:

Happens on some device chipsets. I recommend to report it as a bug to raise the significance of this to the devs.

Before pressing play, you should choose the login method on the bottom of the screen. Reinstalling deletes game data stored on your device so you need to choose your linked method (you linked your account, right?

I wonder when will Journey be in Play store 😭 I haven't felt right knowing it's basically the prequel to Sky and haven't played it.
Even if it would be nice, I don't think Journey will be adapted or open for Android devices. Originally it was meant for PS players.

For privacy and security reasons some methods aren’t able to be unlinked (for example Google), and some may ask for your credencials quite frequently or even always (for example Steam. Steam logs you out for security reasons; or if you’ve changed your passwordd, you need to relog steam)
You need the mobile version of sky to link/unlink accounts. I leave at hand some guides just in case they are useful.

What kind of promo codes did you see, where and what did it offer? Most likely you saw a pretty old one which has expired. The last time I heard about promo codes was several months ago and were available only for a limited time.

Sadly, most mobile devices detect Joy-Cons as two separate controllers, which lack buttons to function as a full controller. This means that it isn't possible to use them unless unless your device is compatible and combines them into a single controller (which is something not a lot of devices can do

This is because your device drivers or hardware is conflicting with the game mechanism. That's why others don't experience the problem, while you with your device encountering it. Report it as a bug so you can raise awareness regardless the issue to devs, just keep in mind that bug fixes take 5-6 weeks at least because of Nintendo switch limitations, and because of cross play we're bound to that

You've got the shaking bug from the new update. There is not a full fix for it currently so you'll have to wait until a hotfix/patch comes out. I recommend going to graphics settings and turning on motion blur, it should lessen the intensity (this is not a fix, only adds blurred frames to make it smoother).
I figured out how to do it, but my problem now is how to make it into English, it only works on Spanish for me, thanks 😊 😅 I will figured it out some way😔

Good morning! I updated Sky, and as mentioned in the patch notes, if motion blur isn't enabled, the graphics are very poor and jerky. Unfortunately, I can't play with motion blur enabled because I get nauseous and dizzy. Do you know if there's a quick fix planned? Or should I open a ticket/feedback request to get this issue resolved? Thanks

I'll report this as soon as possible. Until yesterday, the game was displaying excellently. I updated, and the problem was discovered. If I enable motion blur, the graphics are clean and smooth, but with it enabled, I suffer from dizziness and nausea. So I have to play without motion blur enabled. The pixelated graphics aren't a problem, but the stuttering makes the session frustrating, sometimes unplayable. I'll report back in the feedback section to see if they fix this issue as soon as possible. I'd hate to start the new season this way. Thank you very much!

Hello there! As far as I know S24 devices can be used to play Sky.
But it is best to check the technical specifications of the device, as sometimes there are a few components that might change from one region to another.
You can then compared to the list pinned in this channel.
Samsung Galaxy S24? It's a 2024 flagship phone with one of the top of the line SoC, suffice to say it can run Sky and smoothly at that.
A new bug by tgc 😭, What helped me in stopping the jittering is by putting it on high resolution and high fps (to the max), motion blur had little to no effect for me, but can be for you (that depends) so yeah 🥲

It isn't, since it mentioned global events and promos as well. Most likely a content made by a chatbot: it has typical wording and AI can have such additional "hallucinations".

Try leaving the screening cinema or go back to the first cinema/normal screening (not the two embers screening) where there's a nominees, tio stream etc., there you can try claiming the tix

So back in the day before I took a break from sky this prop when placed in forest used to block the rain and I would listen to the sound of the rain hitting the prop so this morning when I logged on to listen I realised that it no longer blocks the rain nor do we hear the sound is it a bug or was it changed?

Could you try uninstalling sky, playgames and remove your Google accounts from your device then add them again manually and installing sky and playgames again and check if that helps? It takes a bit of time but thats the only thing I can come up with

Hi, you didn't respond in #questions-and-help but I see you reposted here so I'm asking here as well - what's the linking method you're using? Do you have "google play games 🎮" app installed from the app store?
Well, I tried using the Google Play Games app since before I could switch accounts when the game crashed, but in this case the game doesn't appear as linked to my account, as if it had been unlinked somehow.
Although staff won't hunt you down for just having another account, as per Terms Of Service the game is meant to be used by one account per person. Maybe that could cause the issue.
Try the following:
- Log out from all google accounts in your phone settings
- Delete Sky and Google Play Games apps
- Sign in to your phone settings with the Google account you'd like to choose to use with Sky
- Reinstall the applications from the Play store
- Log into the same Google account in the Play games app
- Start Sky and select the Google account you're playing from

Your friend should try the following:
- delete Google Play Store data in android settings
- restart the device.
This usually should resolve the problem!

On iOS - and some android devices - that's a bug, which could be patched anytime. Krills are meant to be dangerous, and could be dodged in-game. Or if it hits you, you can close the game immediately to prevent losing winged lights.

Xander is right this goes in #questions-and-help. However that sounds more like a OS issue like Xander said and your friend can't view the film or visit the area. The game explicitly states that it won't work if the device doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

If you were trying to complete the second seasonal quest, a good number of players are experiencing crashes. It may be related to the quest it self.
Please report the issue if you can, in that case.
Additionally, you may try lowering graphic settings, using other props, decorating and naming the shared space as fast as you can.

can i play Sky on helio g200 processor phone?
Better to say the phone you have in mind as it depends on several factors
its a new Model. Infinix Hot 60 Pro Plus
To the least you could try it out, many games can work even on below minimum requirement hardware.
Checked the tech sheet and it should run sky, but just as an info, the cpu is not very energy efficient, so battery life while gaming isn't optimal and the GPU is too weak to support 60 fps (I put a 60fps cabable gpu in comparison), so it won't be the smoothest gaming experience

Not sky. Even the current requirements are quite old and many devices that meet them barely, struggle or can't handle sky at all
The current minimum specifications are:
ARM 64bit with Neon, GPU Adreno or Mali GPU (aka Snapdragon, Exynos, Kirin chipsets).
Android version 9.0.
Vulkan 1.0.
2gb RAM or more.
8gb of storage to download and install, but the game should only take up about 3gb of space when it is complete.
Which was updated less than a year ago. So I wouldn't call that old or outdated at all. Actually they're updating it pretty frequently compared to other games.
2gb ram won't work as most companies won't include a 64-bit kernel or os structure, which is crucial for sky. At least 4 gigs are needed just to ensure a somehow playable experience. Also I referred to the requirements as old. Android 9 was released almost 7 years ago 6th August 2018. Most developers won't include updated graphics drivers nor vulcan drivers for such an old android version, which again is crucial as we've seen it with the Moto G Power Series. Sky really is sensitive when it comes to requirements and will tell you instantly if a requirement is somehow not met, even if it's due to bad software optimisation
I can totally understand your technical point of view, but something that looks theoretically impossible on paper doesn't mean it doesn't have a chance to work. I don't think it's ever wrong to suggest someone try it out as it might take less than 5 minutes, and you will be able to get a clear result.

Zoom out works the same way on all touchscreen devices, with pinching. If it doesn't work it's because of the environment: the camera would go oob because of a game asset behind it and the game prevents it. Try zooming out elsewhere
Hi, so I was playing in the quest area. I was meant to help resourceful recluse decorate his house, but I got distracted and explored every direction of the market. I did trigger the first 1-2 seconds of the cutscene but i went back outside market because I wasn't ready to do the quest. I did more exploring and I went home because I got stuck. When I went back, the blue star pointing the direction of the quest is gone. I tried going inside the market and there's this loading black screen fadeout happened for a quick second as if im entering a new area. But the recluse spirit is just standing there like your usual spirit friendship tree, and no cutscene is happening. I find through a walk-through video that you have to help him clean away the leaves or something but the leaves didn't appear on my side at all. Is there a way to fix this? 🥲
Going anywhere else ends the quest progression, so you need to restart the quest at the season guide (the lantern) either in cinema or at the street before the market

For the last two years(?) ive had this issue where I haven't been able to see my friends online if they logged on after i did. If i restart the game, I can see them be online, and can follow.
Is there something I could do on my own end to help Sky recognize them when they log on? It used to work on this same phone before then. And I would have expected enough people to recognize and report as a bug that it woulda been patched.

Snapdragon 8 gen 2 uses different features than its predecessors, it has performance issues with Sky
Since no one asks similar questions in #questions-and-help (all platforms use the same servers because of cross play), it means there aren't server errors, therefore you have a connection but it can't keep up with Sky.
So is it only gen 2 problematic? How about below that chipset

Hello! I’m late so I won’t ping, but understand your sadness; please keep in mind that most of us are player - just like you-, trying to help other players.
To make a report in the bug report channel, you need to open DMs for Skybot to be able to reach out, and then click on the flame icon to start filling the report. Devs read the bug reports, even tho we don’t get an individual answer. All the details we provide can help Devs to identify what is the issue and try to find a fix for it, if possible. I also recommend finding the specific data concerning your device and Sky update that is in your device beforehand.
Another option is to reach out via in game support link, which would not be possible if your device can’t keep Sky game open before crashing. And there is still another option to reach out to support: via their website, using an email. This can grant you a direct answer,… just keep in mind it can take them from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the amount of issues, reports and whatever information they need to have at hand before replying. (please check the links that Skybot already provided)
You mentioned (from doing a backwards research) that your device uses Android 8. Have not mentioned which specific device model you use (eg: Huawei Y7, Samsung Galaxy A31, etc), which sometimes can provide hints to people trying to help in here, if anyone heard about similar cases or found a workaround.
But it can be helpful to you to check if you have your devices OS and Google Play up to date, as well as any other app used to play by your phone (some have a gaming center app of some sort). Clearing cache from Google Play (besides Sky app) may help as well.
And also force closing any other app when you will open Sky, so there’s nothing else still working on the background consuming resources from your phone.

Sadly we need to remember that Android 8 has a very outdated version of Vulkan (Uzephi said time ago it’s: 1.0.3 released in 2016), a video driver that is essential for Sky rendering images properly. This technical limitation will impact the device’s performance, making it more prone to crashing.
But the only thing Devs mentioned specially for Android 8 at the most recent Patchnotes is the inability to use the Cinema feature (due to technical limitations).

Hii i would like to know if anyone is going through the same thing as i did cause this is kinda annoying after the update....
Yesterday after the update i can't seem to get into the game and got stuck at the log in menu, i clicked the play button and nothing, the play button disappeared but i just stuck there, i tried several stuff which is, Closing and entering the game again, Restart my phone, turning off and on the internet connection, and lastly Redownloading the game (which led into another problem)
Now after Redownloading the game I can't even log in using my main account, however i can log in using my alt account

You'll need to check if the google account used for signing in on Sky is the email you want through that app.
Make sure you have "google play games" app installed and updated. These steps will make sure that play games is opening and letting you confirm which google account you want to log in with.

If you were already playing Sky recently and you can't update it may be due to issues from Google Play app. In those cases, if Google Play says “this app is not compatible with your device”, (as I can see from your pic) try this;
Go to settings >Apps/Storage>Apps search for “Google Play” “Google Play Services” “Play Store” and “Play Games” and delete their cache/ (if cache didnt help...try data) if you can; after that try downloading Sky update again.

Although staff won't hunt you down for just having another account, as per Terms Of Service the game is meant to be used by one account per person. Maybe that could cause the issue.
Try the following:
- Log out from all google accounts in your phone settings
- Delete Sky and Google Play Games apps
- Sign in to your phone settings with the Google account you'd like to choose to use with Sky
- Reinstall the applications from the Play store
- Log into the same Google account in the Play games app
- Start Sky and select the Google account you're playing from

Nope it's not, it seems to be a browser problem: Sky doesn't have a separate browser, it rather uses the default browser by your Android system. Try disabling all content blockers (if any) in your default browser, or download a different new browser - set it as a default one - restart the device

That mannequin (image you sent) only offers Manatee Plush and Spirited Manatee Ensemble as IAP's. The other mannequin in the Cinema (referenced in the pic below) offers Butterfly Blossom Memento, Cloak of Darkness and Mini-Manatee Accessory as IAP's.

Have you tried claming dailies at "the other home"? Meaning...if you have Aviary set as your starting place, trying to claim them at the old home shrine, and viceversa.
Also...try to verify your internet source, change internet source if you can, clear cache and restart the game.

I completed one of the dailies and was able to claim the SC at old home shrine.
Will report if found trouble later with the others. But this may have been a temporary bug o, perhaps, something affecting part of the players. Not sure yet.

Unfortunately there seems to be a bug affecting some players from all the platforms when claiming the seasonal candles after completing dailies.
Dailies look as completed but the seasonal candles count doesn't add them.

That isn't normal. Check within your phone settings for screen resolution and try adjusting it to different settings. It might have bumped you up or down a level changing where the graphics sit. Hope that helps...

I can interact with them and all that, pretty much same thing as the friends icon near the aviary village tower. Any way I can fix this?

Hello! I've been trying to delete my account for a while now, but every single time, it only shows me "server error" then the game loads randomly and nothing changes. I've tried it like 5 times but it won't stop
If account deletion wouldn't go through and server errors persists when you try to attempt again, maybe reaching out to Sky Customer Support Team could help you out with this. Just specify to them that you tried manual Account Deletion in-game but it kept giving you server errors. Then request with Support Team if they can assist you with this instead.
Do take note, Account Deletion requests takes 30 days for it to be completed. During that time, you are urged NOT TO log-in to your account for the request to go through. However, if you wish to cancel your Account Deletion request, you just need to log-in to your account.

Did you check the in-game settings? It rarely happens when the Bluetooth of your OS versus Sky are tangled too. Turn off Bluetooth, or if it doesn't help: In your Bluetooth settings, make your device forget all your paired devices, and restart the device. Voice chats or background audio apps - if you're using them - could also be the cause.

Hi! It depends on what exactly does it mean that they are unable to play (crash, stuck at loading, where is it stuck, what anomaly it is, etc)
They can't login, it appears to spit out an error about the connection along the lines of "Failed to connect. Check your connection and try again", she does think it might be because of sanctions since she is a Russian player but it would be great if there is a solution since losing all the season stuff hurts a bit.
Yes, most of Russia's internet service providers block access to Amazon servers, the hosting service of Sky.
Unfortunately, without unsupported and discouraged methods she can't play Sky from there.

I'm on android anyone experiencing this the Scarred Sentry didn't go on the consolation after i finished quest 4 - saying you need to go to the Golden waistland to find him? i did quest 4 two times but hes still not there.
Maybe you can try starting, for example, seasonal quest 1, after cutscene go Home/aviary, return, and then look for the Sentry to open their tree and learn their expression.
Perhaps this way the spirit will appear at your spirit's constellation.

Why, yes. But android has this option called game space with some game relevant features such as disabling adaptive brightness or suppressing notifications. It also gives you the option of enabling angle which is a translation layer between gles and vulkan
Question is if enabling this option add a (redundant) overhead or is completely ignored?
I think it's redundant here.
First look at the specs of the tablet I'd blame the low powered cpu and gpu but it could also be missing important vulcan and graphics drivers. Teclast isn't really a known brand and seems more like budget where cutting costs for drivers could be an option 
I don't really have a solution in mind except the normal procedures like clearing cache, then restarting device.
Don't know if it helps but maybe changing the preferred graphics driver in developer options or activating "disable hw-overlays" could help but I doubt it
Also considering the fact that the GPU is normally meant for phones and even there isn't suited for gaming, I highly suspect that playing a role with the issue
I'm guessing it's probably something software related too
Game runs fine on the M40 Pro (which does have worse specs afaik) and I did try playing around with dev options to see if they might fix it, but unfortunately the same result. The furthest I've come is opening Sky in splitscreen, which allowed me to hear around 0.5 seconds more of the opening them before crashing
Quick question just out of curiosity: I'm playing on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and ngl, the amount of lag on this device is ridiculous. Of course, I open the app and get the "This game is not optimized for your device, yadda yadda whatever...". So, what would be the oldest device for Sky to run smoothly on? (Sorry for the weird wording, my ADHD brain is going brrrrrr)
Is difficult to answer that question in a precise way since some older Android devices (Android 9, for example) may still be able to be used for playing Sky, but lagging is most likely going to be part of their game.
With the recent addition in certain events and activities newer GPU's will handle Sky better than older ones.
Hi! In general, tablets are not optimized for gaming and always will have some sort of compromise. Adding to that, vast majority of GPUs are not optimized for tablets. Therefore phones are recommended for playing Sky. Regarding phones the best choice for Sky - contradictory to the topic - is iOS when it comes to compatibility and stability, because the game was originally written to that platform and was later ported to Android. My half decade old secondary phone iphone 11 is still smooth as butter with Sky. As for Android, it's tricky because manufacturers tend to customize their Androids or abandon Vulkan support which ends up in glitches or incompatibility. My recommendation is bare android when it comes to compatibility and support - therefore regarding old ones Google Pixel devices, specifically Pixel 5 (I had it, and still have Pixels at home). There might be other devices as well, but that's basically shooting in the dark when it comes to old ones, because other manufacturers modify the OS to their style which always puts back performance a bit and Vulkan driver update support is abandoned. Of course you can find different alternatives for higher prices or newer ones which can run Sky, but unfortunately Vulkan driver updates are not guaranteed in Android security updates, and Sky highly depends on it. It's best to choose a phone which has a strong (non-Mali type) GPU and long Android update support.

If you feel like the banning you received is unjustly and unfairly done, the only way to do is to reach out to Support Team and appeal your case.
Also, playing Sky for a long time is not an advantage and a guarantee you'll be immune to banning, mutes and whatnot.

The headphones appear on your character when you play music or audio in another app while playing Sky (as long as you're not wearing another mask accessory). You can use them any time by putting on some tunes! 🎧 (iOS only, due to limitations in Android hardware)
Unfortunately it's not possible in android - they tried and tried but how clumsily android handles perceiving third party audio app and audio accessories, it's not really possible

That's a bug, but not intentional and it can easily fall into exploiting category and be subject to getting banned if you use it frequently. It's recommended to refrain from using them in that way.

Certain devices have a weaker NFC antenna and metal keychains are harder to read. Try finding the exact location of the NFC reader on the web and press the keychain with either side of it. Also make sure NFC is enabled.

Every time I try to open the game in the app, it asks me to log in to Steam, and when I switch tabs (to the Steam app tab) to authorize the new login, everything in the Sky tab disappears, even though I haven't removed anything...
And even if I manage to do so, after 1 or 2 days, it asks me to log in again...

hello, recently my friend has changed devices and is struggling to play sky on it? the tablet used in the photos provided is a C-idea tablet, specifically CM14000Plus
she had face previous multiple issues with downloading the game itself and logging into it, but when she finally did— the buttons and joystick are unusually enlarged and due to the game not seeming to fit the tablet’s screen size she is unable to see her candle/heart count along with the settings and friend codes
is there anything she can do to turn the display back to normal with all the buttons and icons present?
Seems like the game thinks the device is on a much smaller resolution. Tell her to go to developer settings and then selecting "smallest width" and changing the number to a higher one
she tried both higher and lower but alas no changes were made

tried 1012 and 1449, her original was 880
Normally after you change the number the device will select a slightly different (most times smaller) number. Has she tried going even higher?

Heyya my phone used to handle sky smoothly even after the update and i always play on med graphics with 60 fps, but lately i experience fps drop
With time, performance can drop with device degradation. Also some updates introduce new features which may require stronger hardware than before.
Games goes crazy 20 fps whenever my keyboard shows. Using a samsung (mid range) phone, anyone else having the same issue? Anything helps.
This is most likely an optimization bug, which was partially fixed on several devices. Report it as a bug for your phone to let them know that's affected

It usually happens when you have a connection but it's struggling to keep up with Sky. Try redoing them after game restart, preferably on a different connection, or call your internet service provider company asking for a fix.

There's an invisible barrier after a certain point, I even tried opening the door as normal but nothing changes
Since you're still technically on the first floor, this is considered an out of bounds area. In out of bounds areas, you'll find a lot of invisible walls. This is intentional. If you'd like to avoid it, I suggest using the elevator to reach the (real) 2nd floor 
That happens when you chibi fall into the door (behind it) and walk past the barrier. Walking into it you won’t even notice but you won’t be able to walk out. Using a table and sitting down outside of the barrier will free you. Can also happen when you normally open the door but it’s less likely. It’s normal when you chibi fall tho

Pretty sure you're not the only one affected. Check your network connection if they're okay. Restart game. Alternatively, you can try and get daily quest over at Aviary café, see if that works.

ping is pretty normal i'd say, not like i can see it to say, and yea i only have one account on my phone
that known issue is not an issue for me, i can redeem daily candles, the only issue i face is that daily quest never spawning in hidden forest since the start of the season, the first time i found it i was like, oh, odd i can't start this daily quest, but when i went to hidden forest and saw the rainbow nor candles didn't even spawn i thought it was a global bug, except no one else had ever reported it so it was just me as far as i know
also the first time i found it i logged into the game at 4 different times of the day to see if it was fixed but it wasn't ever fixed, to this day

it's also worth checking on your ISP whether they remotely installed a new driver on your router.
I mean, you can tell when you have high ms in a game, when players teleport from one point to another in close proximity to you, things move without continuity etc, i've only seen these happen when servers merge or i get sent to another server, but on a normal playthrough there are no such lag issues, in fact it's pretty rare to notice lag issues in this game overall, as for the speed test, that's just an ordinary internet checkup, my internet is fine, optic fiber with 155mbps download and 130mbps upload on my wifi
and even if there were, it wouldn't affect a daily quest the whole day after several log-ins and wouldn't affect its spawn regardless of your internet
i kinda wonder how they tackle daily quests spawns for this to happen tbh, if daily quests don't spawn gamewide for every player on the backend of the game itself it would make a little more sense for 1 or so players to be affected only but why would it be made like that 🤔
and what could affect such cause
Sky is more sensitive to ping latency and package dropouts. I highly recommend checking them.
it also seems that on another account on my pc on the same network seems to not influence the quest, so it's either account bound or device bound namely my phone
Is your PC also on wifi? If not, it could be wifi settings misconfigured or an overcrowded wifi channel. Did you try to swap wifi channels on your router?
Your problem is not the only one, but very rare, that's why meticulous troubleshooting is necessary.

Again, the other account is irrelevant if it is not using the same wifi, but cable.
I highly recommend going through the previously mentioned points in order to be able to help you. Your bug report is important but it can easily be sorted into an isolated connection problem (not a bug), if you don't sort out everything and have strong proof that there's nothing wrong with the hardwares and their connection.
High ping doesn't necessarily mean players teleporting, btw

Then again, please do a ping latency test on phone, then a package dropout test: a fee app called PingTools Network utility can measure dropouts. Ping test TGC website, from 100 tests 0 dropouts is recommended, 5-6 is acceptable.
okay but how does internet dropouts influence your game's daily quests exactly?
Package dropout = lost communication between you and the servers.
With a very simple example: Imagine your connection trying to catch a ball, which the servers try to drop for you, but because of a random dropout the ball falls near you because your device fails to catch it.
but it wouldn't affect a very specific aspect of the game such as 1/4 daily quests, it would not let you log in, or you'd get a server error at the start of the session, you'd be in an empty space you couldn't interact with anything, it would have to be a very very specific package for it to affect 1/4th of a specific aspect of the game, like being able to set up a coffe table but without being able to interact with the drink
i'm not saying it's impossible but highly unlikely considering it's only my case that has been reported from what i've seen since the start of the season

well i'm not gonna wreck my house trying to debug this with my internet provider and every device in my house, it isn't my job and i've better things to do, i've tried to narrow it down but there's a limit to how much i'll be testing out of the kindness of my heart
I think i've provided more than enough details of the issue as a simple common player, and from my experience my internet would not be the issue giving i've had adsl internet connection in the past and this has never happened before.
I don't mean to undermine your observations or skills but I just don't see much point to assuming the sky might be falling on me if i'm seeing a cloud closer than the rest
And I have provided measurement data there.
I reinstalled the game 5 times, rebooted the phone many times, tried to download the game from websites
I also tried to log in with VPN

Are you using a stock ROM or a custom one? Is your bootloader unlocked?
So, i need a bit of help.. My account was linked to my facebook account, but rn, facebook just literally doesnt work when i try to use it to log in, i figured it must have been a bug or something, so i searched up info and found out someone with the same bug, which said "just delete the sync that facebook and the game has, and it'll let you instead of just white screening" So i did, it didn't work, and now im stuck with the dilemma of "Is my account deleted? Will i even be able to access it again? what do i even do?"

That's due to the os being based on 32-bit. Sky needs 64-bit
So can I do that on my phone or do I need a new one?

Ok wait if the app is already on your phone then I was wrong and your device meets the requirements. In that case clear Playstores cache and restart your device. If that doesn't help, clear playstores data and then again restart your device

A16 by hardware would support 64-bit applications, but don't expect a very good gaming experience with that phone for Sky.
Xander was partially right, many A series phones - interestingly the higher by model number A32 as well, are 32-bit. If you can download Sky from the Play store and it won't crash on app start you have a phone with 64-bit support, yay!
