I think the fps settings are a result of a long and pretty good work, I barely have seen that someone's game crashed at certain settings which considering the possible combinations of all devices and all possible settings multiplied is impressive. Players have been asking for experimental settings for Sky to push their devices to their limits and we got this possibility, but naturally it results in setting possibilities which might not have the best results and some other combinations which will work the best. You do the right thing by experimenting!

Unless the pink T messes up, the connection should never be an issue for me as I'm sitting close to my router and mostly play from home.
The setting I mentioned earlier seems to be running great for me so I'll keep an eye on performance for now.
As I initially said, I'm blown away by the massive performance improvement with that patch. I'd even dare to do Eden on mobile again now. I usually only did Eden on PS5 due to the "danger" of hitting a performance issue while on my statue run.

Funny story, this is my phone and I play sky on it, but I haven't always been able to. 😆 after an android update that came out sometime last year, (maybe around August or later?) before then the phone could not handle sky, it froze on opening screen. Make sure to check for Android updates if you haven't.

For me, the thing that made the biggest improvement in performance was turning off motion blur, also keep your graphics turned all the way down. All this to say, my performance is still iffy at times..
but these things made it a lot better at least.

It’s probably just a glitch or sign of bad connection. Refreshing your game will fix it! (You can just enter a realm and then come back, should go back to normal.) It’s either that or they’re dressed up as a bald moth

Again, please check the guide, there are several fixes mentioned there which - based on your reply - you didn't check yet. There are a couple of players who have "top notch" internet but can't reach the game because of ISP restrictions. Regarding bugreports, you might be in a misunderstanding: bugs are collected based on their statistical significance (basically how many users report it) and bugreports are never answered, just collecte and selectively sorted
Ive been playing the game for a very long time. This has never happened, and my internet has only gone better.

- net is 150/150Mbps with a 15ms ping
- playing on EU servers
That's weird! I have a Xiaomi 14 as well and it works flawlessly (80-100mbps with 14-16ms ping).
Make sure you are not using any proxy or V.P.N.
Are your mobile Internet provider and wired Internet provider the same company by chance? Did you try to check at public Wi-Fi or on a different device? Is it stuck at the logo intro or after pressing the play button again?

Im not using vpn. Mu mobile and wifi providers are a different company. I dont have another device to check lol
The starting screen opens, i can read the things on the left (example: new spirits amhave areived) and on the right side i have the water, the play button and the login method.
When i press login method my device freezes. And when i press play it doenst freeze, but the play button vanishes, like it is about to send me ingame but hothing happens. The starting screen stays the same :/

Wait you wrote it freezes when you click on sign in method button? That’s definitely strange and it seems you are having some problems with the sign in method which cannot connect with the game servers. Can you at least choose a different sign in method like local account by chance? Are you using Facebook or Google sync?

Yes that’s definitely a good idea to delete the game and reinstall it. Try to empty play store and Google play games cache (the latter is a separate app from play store, try to log in from there first before you launch Sky)

Yes that's definitely not a ban but google - connectivity error to your account.
Try the following:
- delete play store data
- delete google play games data (not google play services)
- restart the device

Hey so. On my samsung phone, I'm being spammed with popups from sky telling me to download it? Like my phone vibrates, i get prompted with opening something unlabelled in a browser, and I got so sick of it I was just like, "well Im clearly already hacked" so I opened it. Its just sky! Trying to get me to download the app! Whats happening??
I did a quick search on the web and it's a quite common Samsung sickness it seems. Sky never leaves such popups but browsers - especially Chrome - do. You or any third party app you downloded, allowed notifications for random sites. Simply block all Chrome notifications by App Info because they are unnecessary (except downloads). You can find allowed sites in Chrome settings. Do the same with other - especially Samsung's built in - browsers and Google Play games app and keep an eye out for what kind of app is leaving such notifications.

The latest ColorOS update for this budget device was released on 24 Mar 2023, if an Android update can't help, it means Oppo abandoned your device which can't keep up with the most up to date game graphics. Your PC being OK is also proof that the game works well on most devices. Try to #report-a-live-bug after each android update but the best solution for this would be if Oppo would fix this with a correct up-to-date driver.

Sky is GPU heavy and very much depends on clear, up-to-date Vulkan drivers.
I have been using 12+ phones for playing Sky and I have never met the issue you are experiencing.

You have three choices: check for Android updates, keep reporting it as a bug for your device and hope for the best, or use a different device.

Sky is far over 100M downloads! I understand your frustration. Android fragmentation is a major issue because there are so many different Android devices twisted and turned by their manufacturers, each with unique hardware and software configurations. This means not all devices can support every game or app equally. While your device runs other games well, Sky requires previously mentioned specific updates or drivers up to date that your Oppo Reno 5f doesn't support anymore. It's a common challenge in the Android ecosystem, and unfortunately, not every device can keep up with the latest graphics demands.
So this means all the users that have the same phone as mine are having the same problem as mine?
Also I'm not frustrated 🤔 I can use my pc to play the game but I just wanted a proper solution for it so I can use it to play from both devices

Sky is constantly updated, and recent seasons, like the Moomin season, have introduced new graphics solutions that require up-to-date support. Since you haven't confirmed if your Android is up to date yet, I recommend checking for updates and browsing through #bug-reports-android for more insights.

Freely quoting TGC CEO Jenova Chen, they have just implemented groundbreaking tech in past season, and they also implemented new graphics settings. (I can also confirm quality has improved and the feel of 120fps is great; several players praised graphics quality with their new phones). I don't think there are other plans, and in patchnotes nothing in such nature was announced.

I want to ask again. Why on my device get the grapics or i think resolution like get blur, that make me feel dizzy.
- Switch motion blur on, that smoothes out the blur on your screen (Blur Gerakan), I see it's off now.
- Try lowering the resolution to one ⚡ bolt, so you'll less likely have frame drops (especially effective on budget devices, also saves on battery).
- Set fps (Laju bingkai) to 1/3 or 2/3 which also helps on budget devices.
- Fade to black is also recommended, much more comfortable to the eye through area transitions.

Based on the screenshots I can see it's struggling, but at least it can run Sky! Several devices can't run it at all, it's a pretty demanding game

i recently bought a new tablet xiaomi poco pad and run sky, i already changed the graphics to the highest but surprisingly it's running on 1080p a little bit blurry even though the device could handle 2560p. and it's even worse on record mode, it's running on 640p? is there a way for me to fix the me to it?
Hi! It's sad that you just bought a new tablet and it's blurry with Sky
unfortunately, unless Poco does some update to your device which optimizes its performance, there's not much you can do.
Here's why:
- Screen resolution doesn't mean that the hardware can handle GPU-heavy games like Sky at max resolution. It means it can handle certain consumer content, but not all of it.
- That is a budget-friendly device with not the strongest GPU (Sky is GPU-heavy).
- Tablets are not optimized for gaming in general.
- On top of that, Poco more often has issues with Vulkan graphics drivers and related performance than other devices.

For in-game photos, the game pauses for a fraction of a second and tries to render the image differently (you can also see the screen flash and the movements hold up a little bit). For smooth and enjoyable gameplay, it's not possible to pause at each frame, therefore the hardware limitations result in a lower resolution to keep the gameplay a continuous experience.
hey anyone else having issues burning anything? I have a poco device (Poco F5) and I'm also kinda bummed with the blurry graphics. Especially when they patched the game with HD graphics a while back and it ran really well. They patched it back to blurry graphics. Why? Why didn't they only patch it out for devices that had issues?

Sadly, TGC can't take responsibility for a small fraction of poorly optimized devices. The recent patch was applied by a highly requested change from the player community, and universally across all devices are affected due to crossplay, which means it wasn't tailored specifically for your phone. Most phones got significant improvements, but sadly, this situation highlights the challenges posed by Android fragmentation, leaving some devices more vulnerable to performance issues than others. It's not about the patch (Sky has to move forward), it's rather Poco, which fails to update your device with up to date tech correctly.
My device has propper tech. As I said, the update rolled out and it ran fine (as a matter of fact, it ran GREAT! I was really surprised by how the game managed to run really with such a resolution increase. Water to wine). I just want them to revert the change to what it was, I wouldn't be asking if my device had issues.
It is up to Sky to properly draw the line of which devices can run the game in hd and which can't. Not up to Poco. You said Sky needs to move forward, okay, but I'm complaining about it moving backwards where it didn't need to.
(which devices had crashes? take those out. Which didn't? keep them the way it is... Isn't that how it's supposed to work?)
I'm sorry if I'm coming off as really annoying but the hd update coming and going really felt like keys were dangled in front of me and I couldn't have them 😅 I do understand that sometimes things are more complex and I'm just 1 person complaining about MY case. But I really would like to add my device back to those that run the game in HD.
I appreciate your passion for your device, it's important to distinguish between belief and reality. Unless you are an Android system developer, it's widely acknowledged by professional sources that Poco devices often struggle with Vulkan performance. You can find numerous discussions in online forums addressing these issues.
I understand your frustration, but TGC must prioritize a consistent experience for the entire player base.
It was a similar issue with the Motorola G series as well. They are excellent devices, but were unable to run Sky because of poor Vulkan. Sky heavily depends on Vulkan, which is often overlooked by budget device manufacturers. After Motorola released an update, it became fully compatible.
If you read above a lot you can see (and I know by experience) that the performance - or even more serious: the compatibility - on certain phones are dropped after some necessary Sky updates. After the manufacturer deployed the update for those devices, everything came back to normal.
For cross compatibility tech, and because of android fragmentation there can't be hundreds of app versions. It's a common challenge in all game development.
Using emulators is against the Sky TOS, @steel wedge. Please don’t use or discuss emulators here.
Allright so it'll be hard to explain but I'll do my best. Now I've played Sky around 2019-2022 and leaved it as it be. Now I've downloaded the steam version and eant to connect my account to my (oiginal) android account. But all I find told me that I should redownload the android version again which I cannot because of my low disk space and my phone being realy really old. It just can't handle it. Is there a way to link my (android linked to my mail) old account to my pc (steam) account?
It's possible only on a mobile device only. But being a phone being old doesn't mean reduced storage: you can delete some apps or videos to free up space if you're sure the device is compatible

As long as the account was linked to google or something of the sort, you should be fine.
You just need to log in to the same account you used, and then link the steam account in game.

What you are experiencing is most likely that the game improved and has been optimized a lot but your manufacturer has abandoned your device and it didn't get the necessary updates to use the new graphics.

Did you try on a different connection which has lower ping latency than 30-35ms?
If some devices are unable to open the game that is a device issue, unfortunately
here are the most common 3 reasons:
- Corrupt or bugged Vulkan support on the phone by the manufacturer (mostly Poco and Motorola are affected), try to update your Android system and restart the device.
- Buggy phone UI with outdated manufacturer support - in this case, remove all recently installed apps, disable apps over apps features like Messenger bubbles or Discord over Sky, and restart the device.
- If the game is stuck after pressing play, it's your Internet reception. Try on a different connection, restart your router, call your internet service provider for a quality check. For Sky ping latency lower than 30-35ms is recommended (and serious games aim lower than 10ms! - you can check yours on https://speedtest.net)

It opens the game sometimes that's the issue
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game ,spammed the "Network error" retry button a bunch waited for an insane amount of time then it worked...
I just find it really weird that 2 out of the 10 times it works and other it doesn't

If it's server error, then it means your internet can hardly keep up with Sky. Check the latest message above.
Why does it work sometimes and sometimes doesn't?
- A higher influx of players enter the game because of season hype, those who have weaker connection exceeding server capacity won't be able to enter.
- Player count online is not a a fixed amount, that's why sometimes you can enter the game and sometimes you can't.

Many of them have newer versions these days so it's worth to go for them as well!
Switching apps disconnects you from the game because either you switch to the call if there's no top bar overlay to pick the call in background, or you switch to the phone app to answer the phone call. It's how your phone functions: cuts off resource hungry background apps too soon because it lacks strength to handle them. It's not a bug, it's how your phone functions and is capable of. 
I have had a lot of phones for Sky and a call never detached my character.

My budget for phone upgrades is average $150 local bucks and I want to buy an Android that's not affected through laggy experience cuz of added trees causes gameplay lags during Moomin season
Both Mali G52 are old and weak. Even a Pixel 2 from 2018 is stronger than them.
For that budget I recommend a used or refurbished version from the recommended list on online auction sites, even consider a used old iphone 10 or above which have awesome performance for the game. New phones for that money will end you up in incompatibility sooner or later and you can't even sell a budget phone that easily.

Bans happen much later after TOS violations because real staff examines account logs. Therefore there was a valid reason but you unknowingly broke Terms Of Service with something. You can contact support through their website link for appeal.

Always be aware of the TOS and rules. Gaining 1k candles from twitch drops alone is possible only by exploitation, because you only can get 15 candles from the drops, therefore it's you taking advantage of the generous drops and gain a huge margin amounts from many players.

- redo daily quests and claim them
- try collecting seasonal candle wax again, visit all 4 candle bunches
- make sure to get the seasonal candle from home altar

Yeah...the bot does not give a lot of time. But...you can copy paste from your previous report all the things you wrote, so it should be easier the second time.

I login on mobile through my Steam account. However it asks me to login again (put in username, password, 2fA) almost every time I open the app. Is there any way to make the linked account "remember" that it's linked? Would connecting another account help or is this normal on mobile?
That's because steam demands login every time. You can link a different login method in ingame settings > account e.g. nintendo or google, they don't ask for password every single time

Some props can result in such issues for some players. If it doesn't happen with some other props and you can replicate the issue, #report-a-live-bug for your device - because of android fragmentation experiences can vary! 
#report-a-live-bug every time I play with my friends, he is PC user and I android user, we always get server issues and it's Too often like 5 times in 10 minutes... We can't go to a place like eden or we will separated on the way, anyway it happened on all realm except home, sadly it feels like sky cotl, doesn't belong to play with any friends anymore -_-
I've never had splits as that often especially with my PC and IOS friends, so it might be that either you and your friend's PC has weaker than required connection so it always split
On top that there's some server instability but overall it's stable the moment I played with friends last night. You might be a little unlucky with the timing :")
Also that's strange that server errors would force you split bc whenever I got the pop ups, we don't get split at all

Hi! This sounds like a limitation of your device hardware because there have been several 60fps in-game recordings on YouTube for years, which means even old GPUs were capable of that.

I checked on YouTube and indeed 60fps videos are with UI. Then this means it's too tedious because of android fragmentation: many devices are capable of 30fps, many devices can support Sky up to 60fps or 120, but can crash with 60fps recording. You would need to sort out thousands of cases = android versions multiplied with device hardware configuration types. 60fps in-game recording support might come in months, but since that feature needs parallel processing to save the frames without UI, I don't believe it will come soon.

See the reply to the OP. That's a steam security measure. You can avoid that only by linking something else in your account in game settings and use that as log-in method (can choose before pressing play). This keeps your new and steam account synced continuously without the steam security check.

The best ways to check the tests at GSMArena and NotebookCheck.Net (the latter is better).
Then I usually search through the internet with "[device name] vulkan" or "vulkan issues" to see how well it performs.
It's worth to keep in mind how well and long a device is supported by the manufacturer with updates because new Sky features might require seamless vulkan integrity.

The last few days I didn't see any wax coming out of grandma's cake, this has been happening for 5-6 times in a row, there is no problem when it comes to candles, darkness mushrooms, or balls coming out of the campfire I get all the wax I burn from them. But when burning grandma's cake no wax came out, I waited until grandma's time ended finally the wax was there but they did not increase the number of my candles at all.

does anyone have it where audio on headphones gets randomly super compressed and unlistenable? plugging the headphones out and in fixes it but it happens a lot, and sky is the only app that does that
This is most likely because that is the only game you are playing which supports multichannel audio: in Sky game settings, it has separate sliders for musical instruments, background music, and sound effects. Most likely your android system has a built in, or a third-party limiter.
I recommend keeping all volume sliders at 45-50% and gradually adjust them below compression levels. You can also try these generic troubleshooting tips: #android-questions message
Hii there, I did notice that nowadays the daily quest spirits won't show up in Aviery village only after I visit the coffee and go back outside. Also recently I can't see the markings of the quests on the map. Are these bugs?
The daily NPCs are bugged in Aviary. Go into a building and return to make them appear, or use original home - which is generally more stable

Players with Snapdragon 8 gen 1 processors, is any of you facing any performance issues? I have a Xiaomi 12 and this phone is supposed to run this game at 60 FPS at all time. Yet there are areas in the game where the frame rate will drop to 30 or below.
Hey there!
Just a heads-up, the game is actually quite GPU-heavy, so GPU performance and optimization are what really affect frame rates, not processors (CPU).
Additionally throttling due to overheating, device or battery degradation and GPU driver optimization specific to the 12 series are often causes of fps drops.
You might want to try changing the resolution in the graphics settings! The highest setting (the most bolts ⚡⚡⚡) just adds sparkles and tiny details that aren’t super noticeable, but they can put extra heavy load on your device. Try with one or two bolts!
To sum it up, players here often tend to focus on the CPU while overlooking GPU optimization in Vulkan-heavy games like Sky, and expecting smoother performance from higher settings which is not the case here. But don’t worry, now you know! 
Try to update your Android system too, maybe new updates can make a difference.
I always run the game on the highest settings, maximum graphics quality and frame rate. Also I'm on the latest hyper OS 1, waiting to see if hyper OS2 will come to bring some cool stuff to my phone
That could be the issue. Sky is a premium game, and albeit its Adreno 730 GPU is great, you can't expect full smoothness on everything highest from a 4 year old device.
Even my Xiaomi 14 gets hot on 60fps highest settings (which I don't really use anyway), I would not be surprised if the 12 would throttle down performance because of internal heat.
When I play on 120fps or 60fps, I usually use one bolt ⚡ paired with that. A perfect balance between eye candy and performance, but most times I'm just playing with 30fps.
That's the thing: I've been using this phone for over a week, it's got used to my use patterns and now it doesn't overheat on sky even on high settings
It really sucks that you need to have a $1,000 plus phone to be able to enjoy games running smoothly on highest settings
Even on one ⚡ at max FPS the game won't run at 60 frames per second all the time
I can imagine thats a pretty bad feeling but that's also a bad news because it means either your phone case has a bad heat dissipation and it's frying its processors inside, or if you don't use such a case the governor is set to very strict by the manufacturer and it lowers performance even before it would happen, because it got pretty bad reviews regarding its thermal management. Snapi 8 gen 1 should produce a lot of heat, or its performance is artificially held back with the recent updates.
I've been taking a closer look at internal temps and heat dissipation seems to be working quite well
So it really seems that the system is holding the CPU and GPU back
So im not the only one that having perfomance issues. After the update, it get so laggy

They are in sleep mode so most likely they have put the app in background, or their device's battery governor limited app usage because of certain inactivity.
How to enable the "skip all cutscene" option in android
Tap in the top right corner of the screen and then tap ⚙️ , go to Graphics > Skip all cutscenes.
Have in mind that you have to see at least one time each cutscene before being able to skip it

What you're describing is not related to the update. It seems like the quality of your connection has dropped (by isp error or you reached a data limit for the month)

For some reason, lately my game doesn't open on my phone at all anymore? Just stays on the sky loading screen 
Probably something third party app is conflicting. Try the following:
- uninstall all recently installed apps
- disable all apps over apps features like discord over Sky or messenger bubbles
- remove all notifications from phone's notification tray
- restart the device

Blocked players can lit your candle, deleted friends can't. I assume this remained as a feature like that because very social players use their blocklist to be able to light up everyone they know over the constellation limit.

Android does not support Apple Account or GameCenter login options. If you still have access to an iOS device, you can log in to your account there and link it to another account service that is compatible with Android (for example Google, Nintendo, PSN, or Twitch).
Once linked, you can use that new account to log in on your Android device with your Sky account

We fellow players cannot tell because we don’t see the practices of support, but you have a high chance of account recovery success, if you have your sky recovery ID, or a receipt of a past purchase. But support has other ways as well to figure it out!

What do you mean by leaving you on the home screen? In-game home screen or the game auto closes or you mean the TGC logo when you launch Sky or....

Everytime I try to record a video in game, the video result is really bad
rechecking, it's a bug! the server didn't notice you are previewing the season cape, you still had the ocean cape on. the colors didn't change on the season cape when you chose different dyes which should have been the case it was the cape you were dyeing. apparently it fixed itself after choosing the previewed cape again

Sky uses its award winning own graphics engine, which strongly depends on Vulkan engine and the game you mentioned has pretty much different, often simplified rendering of certain game elements which need less processing. They are like lemons and watermelons difference. I know it's a bummer, but if your manufacturer would support your device more, you should have higher graphics possible.

There is currently a bug with the ball spell that causes players to get sent to oob under maps when it's dropped on them. The oob is exactly where you are for wastelands lobby. There has been multiple people reporting it and tested to be true.
the warp doesn't happen straight away after the bug is triggered by the ball. Trolls can do it when you're not looking then make a run for it.

And its like the game doesnt know that its a mouse and right click of the mouse is also aint workin

Both brands get at least 2+ years of support, but the list is not made based on that. Xander made an extensive read back and research in the Android bugreports channel about phones and typical issues - and from the compatible models (not brands, so it was more specific) only those were selectively picked, which suited to the "recommended" list.
Poco - when the X series came out - had it's uptrend like Realme has now. Based on past experiences, I'd wait more till a Realme device becomes recommended.

It depends on location (country tax), store, discount. If you want reliable 60fps compatible devices, there are better chances than oppo currently

Hi! It's a Google/manufacturer info bug and you can resolve it by emptying the cache of the following apps:
- Google Play services
- Google Play store
Then restart the device.
If that doesn't help, try with deleting data of the apps

Hi. I suggest you check your internet connection. Sky requires a lot of stable wi fi or Data, are servers are currently doing pretty fine (unless you are playing with a PSN, as I understand they are having some platform update or smth).
Is odd it does not show you any text. Perhaps a graphic bug? What specific device are you using?
In response to that, my internet is fine and comes out with an excellent connection, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game thinking that maybe it would be fixed, but the same error keeps coming up.
You can try fully restarting your device. Sometimes that fixes some graphic issues.
My mobile device is the Redmi Note 13 Pro
Check also for updates at OS, Google play or it's equivalent, game hub/game center, etc.

I've read in the past that discord can be very picky on Android and it takes the audio priority from the game.
Android OS in itself has it's own limitations as well, for example many devices often can't play sound from 2 apps (like YouTube and Spotify) at the same time.
It seems your OS limits Sky vs gameplay similarly

You were probably warped there by a recently prominent bug involving the Skyball item. Someone places the Skyball close to your avatar and you get yeeted under the map. If you even get the chance, you could report the player who did this for malicious bug abuse or malicious behavior, especially since people can lose wings in Golden Wasteland's lobby.

Hello ! Not sure where to ask this, but basically a friend uses Google to make their account, but recently they switched to Huawei and seems like there's no option to login through Google when you download Sky on Huawei. Any idea what to do ?

Yes there's a limitation of no google services on new Huawei devices. They should log into their account with Google on their old phone, link Huawei from there in game settings ⚙️
Then they should be able to log in with Huawei to their existing Sky account.
Ah I see, what if they don't have access to their old phone ? Is there any way to link it ?
- They can contact support but their response takes several days even if they already have their Sky recovery ID saved.
- Alternatively, they can borrow a phone from a family member for example, to log in to the game and do the linking, but it's highly recommended to use a phone which doesn't have Sky installed and to make sure to delete the game afterwards to prevent complications.

Some devices which don't have powerful enough GPU, and are not designed for Vulkan heavy gaming, will be struggling no matter what you do.
Here are some tips though:
-🔋reduce the display brightness
- play on wifi instead of data
- uninstall resource hungry background apps like Facebook or TikTok
- disable apps over apps features like discord over Sky
-🔋use one or zero bolt graphics setting ⚡ in Sky settings
-🔋set game to max 30 in Sky settings, as long as it feels comfortable (the lower, the more battery friendly).
The tips marked with the battery 🔋 emoji have the biggest impact on battery life.

What you're asking for is against Sky Terms Of Service. Please delete this in order to avoid misuse or being scammed. 
Even when I select the maximum rendering resolution in the settings, the clouds and billboard effects are still rendered at a sub-resolution. Can you add the ability to separately configure the rendering resolution of the clouds and effects so that they can be configured to render 1:1 to the actual pixels on the screen, and can you also add the ability to enable unlimited fps like in the PC version?
Sky can support great anti-aliasing and up to 120 fps on mobile devices. It seems the PC you seen Sky with is stronger and your mobile device is struggling with performance. I can have Sky on 120fps with the highest settings, that drains battery a lot though.
I use a powerful phone with a 120 Hz screen, but when I select the maximum fps setting, a message comes not about unlimited fps, but about 60 fps
