I have the same problem, my physical volume button doesn't work when I open the game, but I can adjust the volume using the in-game audio settings and volume slider in control center, should I report it?
already replied to another message like this but btw if you hold down on either of the volume buttons once the slider shows up you can manually change ur volume :v
also did some more digging yeah this was in the beta too why dont they ever fix these bugs once they go to live

I just checked and couldn't find anything about game boosters and how to uninstall them in my settings. The game is still doing that white screen and auto closing every time I try to click the play button on the title screen ;-;

Unfortunately currency conversion and tax related things are out of TGC's control. They always issue the same amount in USD and the rest is put on it by Google depending on your account settings. Therefore you need to address it in your Google account.

Every time I try to play ;-;
A temporary solution I've found is to go to your device's Settings > Apps > Sky > Storage & Cache > Clear Storage. This will log you out and will reset some of your preference settings (for instance, changing your Home), but hopefully the game starts! It's worked every time for me, but every day I need to reset the storage or it'll crash again 
Definitely submit a bug report about it. 
The thing that's getting me is that it isn't even the biggest game I have. I have another game which is unironically 10.42× as large that runs like a dream. Storage issues doesn't feel like it makes any sense
I don't think it's an issue with how much storage the game is taking, but something in the data that isn't stored in the cache that for some reason crashes the game on startup
I'm not sure what the specifics of it are, but I know it works for me on my Android.

Hello there! I recommend report it as a bug mentioning since when have you been experiencing this and reporting if it looks consistent in various lighting conditions. This helps devs to sort out and implement a fix in the future accordingly whether it was the latest update, or your Android update.

Is anyone else having issues with controlling their volume? Like I have to hold down my volume buttons to increase or decrease the volume instead of just pressing it once.
Is the game now blocking users from making purchases with google play points? I've used them many times before but ever since this season I haven't been able to successfully purchase anything

Yup been using the same one for years it just suddenly decided it wouldn't except it anymore. I even tried checking if it was an address issue since i moved but all my information lines up correctly

Yes and there is 7$. If i turn it off and just use my card it words but then it won't take off the points that i have which defeats the purpose of having them

Yes but the issue is that it won't use the points as it had in the past

No what i mean is the play balance i earned through the points. I have redeemed it into my account and it shows i have 7$ but no matter what i do it will not allow me to actually spend them and the only way to make any purchases is if I turn them off and just pay fully with my card. (This is not intended to sound rude i apologize just trying to make it more understandable)

is the things you're trying to buy a little under $7 (like $6.99)? the tax could prevent you from actually using the credit
Normally i could combine my play money with my card (similar to if you pay like half cash and half card in a store.) But I've done more research on a subreddit and found that its just all on the play store's own fault and its apparently happening to a lot of people unrelated to sky as far back as Dec 2023
Luckily the money i have in the account isn't anything i actually lost in terms of spending but was earned through a weekly reward system that you just have to check in on completely free it just takes a while to rack up even to a single dollar. Just sad that its basically unusable now by the app that literally made it lol
Hihi, a friend of mine wants to download sky on her Samsung A34 but it doesn't show up in the play store. Is it not available for that phone model? Or is there any workaround?

Has anyone found a solution around certain devices like my tablet for example that I haven't been able to play sky on at all due to it crashing? It has been a week and I'm growing impatient with how it hasn't been fixed with plenty of others I've seen with the same/similar issues.

Adding to definickly (hi!): Tablets are often not that well optimized for gaming and usually smartphones with even lower price tags have better hardware components. Moreover, Samsungs tend to be overpriced for what they offer in the mid-range category. To sum up, there are several way better alternatives.

Did you know you can use the !edenreset or !er command in my DMs? Shorter cooldown there too.
i'd suggest getting a regular phone and a small non-screen art tablet. I have one of those and it was like 390¥ (specifically the parblo ninos q tablet, mostly bc i get cool promotions due to my area of residence. it's $24-$40 USD)
personally, i find it works pretty well as an alternative to screen tablets that retains most functionality but is way cheaper.
to be fair, i draw mainly on a uh, macbook, but i've used my tablet with a crappy 10yo huawei phone and it worked pretty well!
(also, the tablet has scroll and hotkey features... and requires a driver sometimes)

Note: Exynos chipsets are not very trustworthy, the bug reports about crashes amongst random s9 also point that out

The bug is account specific, doesn't matter which platform you're on and switching devices doesn't fix it. My account is on all platforms and it didn't stop when i switched between switch or ios or pc or android.

While the number of victims for nostop daily light refresh animations increase... the another issue I face after that yesterday is today the animation didn't show up and now my candles are still gray so no chevron boosts to help me get even the season candle task done fast enough.
Yes that's also part of the bug. Multiple users confirmed if someone with the non-stop refresh bug got dragged until all the chevrons gone the animation stops and the daily light doesn't refresh in the next days.
This is rough. So many young players are freaking out and I keep trying to tell them to breathe. TGC will reimburse your seasonal candles and regular candles. I told them to keep a log of their candle count and chevrons for each day it happens.
Does anyone know if TGC will send out communication about this bug? The young players are really having a tough time. Maybe an in-game announcement?

Actually the bug doesn't effect the tickets, hearts, season candles, or the other currency. So you can still forge those like normal, just not the regular white candles.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but do any mods know if TGC is aware of the startup crashes happening after trying to login to the game, in my case using Steam login method? I have put in countless reports not only through here but through the Google Play Store and tickets through the support website and there has been 0 mention about this on their part. Ever since the new patch I haven't been able to play and I can't sit at my pc for hours when I need to do other things on it to get my CR's done. There are people who have purchased season passes and other IAP's and are missing out on content and candles on Android. It honestly feels like theyre kinda ignoring the issue.
There are some crashes mentioned at #known-issues. But a report can help Devs learn a bit more of what is happening to your device and gaming experience.
Also keep in mind that these last few days more playes have been affected with a different bug, one that makes Daily light keep constantly refreshing so for them doing CR is not really working -known issues from today-.
I understand that but this issue started the moment the new patch dropped and they haven't addressed it at all. They've addressed everything but the login crash. I'm missing out on candles right now and the event by not being able to login normally. Not necessarily IAP's cuz I haven't purchased any of note but still. I've already put in my reports so there's nothing I can do right now. I just hope they know about the issue and are trying to figure it out along with the daily refresh loop
The log in crash for Androids has not been solved yet, unfortunately. And now there are more bugs.

technically yes, but we don't really know if those candles will be saved once the bug is fixed. collecting 15 should make the praying animation stop, but your chevrons wont reset

If someone is experiencing Android crashing when loading the game, I suggest you keep reportin this issue as has not been recently mentioned by Devs, even tho it has been a known issues for awhile.

I hope it will be resolved soon, it's a little difficult to save up for the next potential traveling spirits

I can't collect candles either. I'm already 3 days old without collecting anything now or. I can also not collect candles I am already 3 days old without collecting anything now nor do the candles appear more to go down and do not add anything.

I can collect candles, but If I forge them, they will all disappear
For now, it's recommended to not forge any candles for that reason

Its so laggy in my phone and also i couldn't find the settings button
I have a low performance phone, I usually have graphics turned all the way down. I turned them up to take a picture of something, but it was freezing and jumping frames so I closed the app. I try to reopen it but it's stuck on the loading screen, I tried to restart both the app and my phone. Basically I'm wondering if there's a way I can turn the graphics back down outside of the app. 😭

It's just a partial fix for now. It seams like they figured out how to stop the bug, but will need more time to go back and clean up the damage and figure out compensation.
For now all way can do is drink water, touch snow, and wait while they work it out.

Android players, does anyone else have trouble with changing the volume of your phone while playing sky? I can't change the volume of the game (or sound in general) without opening my notification bar or putting my game in the phone background.
I don't have any problem with my other games but it only happens with sky after the latest update. I'm not sure if it's my phone or a bug I should report.

Which versions of Android is supported? I have three devices and one of them says it can not be installed, yet it has Android 14 and one of the others has it installed on Android 13. Weird
It’s not just android version that affect phone’s compatibility with sky. The requirements are pinned 📌 in this channel, the most commonly missed one is 64bit requirement (some phones may come with 32bit version like samsung galaxy a13).

This isn't about resources at all. If you read dev messages you would see there are timeout issues because of complex misconfiguration bug, and that's what they are trying to find in the codes

A tip, if this happens when you're about to start sky on android, just simply restart and it'll work just fine afterwards, at least from my experience with android

Its development was not announced anywhere, therefore I'm not sure it would be a feature in the nearby future. 
Are players still unable to play sky if they were to use a steam or nintendo account? The last time I tried, the application kept on crashing.
If you have linked your account to Google, you should be able to log in just fine, or try to access it on switch for Nintendo account if you have one

If you read patchnotes for Hotfix 0.27.6 (https://bit.ly/SkyPatch0276) and what Devs explained at #quick-dev-updates you may find that some of that is intentional...at least for the moment, given the circumstances described there.
Yeah to address the android crashes that's related to the updated graphics, they returned the graphics to before 28.5
But you can still fine tune the graphics and fps separately too
Yea I noticed that before it crashes on me even the water graphics in the start menu are very low fps

Mine isn't quickly noticeable but it is indeed much lower pixels per inch

The wax you collected during server error will not be counted
Everything you do during server error will not be saved so thats why you restart your game the moment you have them

its okay to be upset. you have every right to. The wax that didnt get count are the wax that are collected right after the first server error message pop up so if you collect any before that then it would be fine

- Did you try to adjust graphics settings in Sky ⚙️? Maybe it reset to the lowest settings.
- If you tried, it's worth knowing that tablets are not optimized for gaming: their specific UI can interfere and their graphics processor is usually weaker than mobile devices.
- It might have happened this way because Sky uses new ground breaking technology, and your tablet couldn't keep up with it the other way: sacrificing quality was the price of compatibility
- regardless you can try to #report-a-live-bug by clicking the fire emoji on the channel bottom there, skybot app will contact you for details in DM

The graphics are on high settings. My tablet supports all games on the high settings. Probably, there is nothing can do here. It's just that I have been playing sky since the release of April 2020 and all this time I have been waiting for the graphics update. Not so long ago, I quit the game. But recently I saw that the graphics had finally been updated and decided to return. And I downloaded the game yesterday 🤦

On my android device, whenever I try to sign in with my steam account, the pop that I usually get to confirm my steam sign in or sometimes I have to put my account details in again, the pop up only says to create a steam account now
I don't know the cause, it really just happened randomly and resetting my device, reinstalling sky and such hasn't done anything :(

Steam has several issues on several devices, therefore I recommend linking something else to your account

These errors are giving me Sanctuary Season's flashbacks,
it was so bad that the server would not register you as being online for as long as half and hour even if you were in-game,
you could see neither your friend's chat nor yours' and it took them a month long to fix it
I understand you, I was terribly upset by this too. I have given up the game on android for now, I switched to PC.

This may be the known Google Play bug. Try clearing cache of the apps and restarting the phone. Hope that helps. If not, we have in this channel some other troubleshooting suggestions you can try.

Motorola has Vulkan graphics driver issues for their G series. Do the following:
- check for Android updates
- update android
- restart phone
- check for Android updates again
- repeat this process until there's no new update

They’re aware of the issue #known-issues message, so hopefully, they’re working on it, and it gets fixed soon.
The only solution I know for this issue is to stop where you are, switch the network source (e.g., from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa), and wait for a few seconds. It usually resolves itself. (If this doesn't work, restart the game after couple seconds)
As for compensation, I’m not sure what to expect, but if we get something, it would be a great help.

Anyone know how to hook my PS4 controller up to sky to make it actually function properly? The controls on sky are wonky with it. It's an issue because my hands are in pain from holding my phone due to its size... While the PS4 controller is much more comfortable and doesn't cause me pain.
I played on my PS4 before but that's not an option anymore... I still have the PS4 controller which is why I'm asking
Not sure what you mean by wonky controls. I play sky on android with a DS4 and it's pretty much the same as PS4 except the d-pad shortcuts don't work.

Did you look up controller settings? You could have the inverted controls toggled on, there's no method to bind buttons though.

Before the triangle button was fly. Circle was back. R2 made you look up. The d pad was for the camera... There was no movement at all

This is definitely not due to client side internet connection
and restarting a game does make the server error go away, only for it to start popping up again
until they fixed the bug it would have been really kind of them to do away with this agonizing pop-up message and instead give a small icon on the top that does not affect the actual gameplay, since the game is still playable and only feature that does not work is our ability to send messages on chat and if it continues we will also stop receiving any light past 1 or 2 min after the error starts being bombarded to us

People might ignore or not understand it, but pop-ups are meant to be alerts—they're designed to appear right in front of the screen. Restarting is usually the best solution but if you don't want to restart, try switching your internet source and wait for a few seconds; the issue often resolves itself.
And even though the game is still playable, it stops tracking your progress. So, it's best to stop playing whenever this error appears.
I agree with your point but after a certain number tries it just becomes redundant and restarting the game is not always an option especially when we are with our friends in the middle of Wastelands while being surrounded by a group of Krills 
, they should atleast give us the option to keep the messages from popping up for certain number of minutes/hours with a message that goes anywhere between the lines of "Game Progress may not be saved if you proceed.", since the game will obviously auto-disconnect us when the client side network has some issue, so I do not really see the need for them to implement this horrid screen-hijacking alert message to declare to us that the "Sky Server" and not the "Client Internet Connection" is having trouble.
The Wi-Fi Symbol that was being displayed was so counter-intuitive as well, many players who weren't tech-savy continued to believe that it was their internet's issue but it was in-fact the Sky Server which was unstable, so I feel that the message was being misinterpreted by a large section of the player-base and the devs saw the issue, hence, they removed that in later iterations of version update, and similar that case of Wi-Fi Symbol debacle this alert message has no requirement of being shown to us more than once or twice.
I understand the whole point here is just restart the game but it kills the time when we want to candle farm under a certain time frame or when we are near the Geyser or Granny timing, and even after a restart it just pops up again.
I would not write this lengthy message if I didn't cherish the world of Sky, I want TGC to succeed in their vision of making a world where people can come together and share wonderful experiences exploring the vast realms full of mysteries with their old friends and also form new bonds while on their beautiful journey.
And it is high time they focused less on pushing cosmetics every two or four weeks on the shop and gave more attention to the stability of their game's code for a change.
This, I agree completely, i wouldn't mind honestly if they stop new events and cosmetics for a while to fix the root of this problem. But it's very highly unlikely they'll stop these cause that's kind of their way of regular earning.
Yeah, it's very annoying how it happens in the middle of things, like being with friends or, as you said, around krills. I like the 'screen-hijacking' line

My recommendation is the following:
- try to set a different default browser, restart the device and try again to see what happens with other browsers.
- contact support in-game from any new moth account and ask for account recovery based on your Sky id, then link a different account sync to your game, having more sync methods are great to avoid such bugs good for security as well!

May I suggest you clear cache from Google Play, and check if OS, Game Center,/Gaming Hub, Google Play, etc. are updated?
Keep in mind also that due to how downloads work with Google Play, you need a lot of free space to download the game.
Do the following steps:
- have at least 6-8 GB free space on the device (thanks to Google install policy for big games)
- empty Play Store and Play Games app and Play Services cache
- restart device
- try again
If that doesn't work, you can do the same above but delete data of the mentioned apps. Good luck🍀

Seems like the GPU is struggling to open sky. Sky did get more graphic intensive with moomin season.

Hello, new player here, I started playing the game on PC a couple days ago and when I learned it's also on phones I installed to play it while I'm not home. But I have a problem (On Android) where always when I want to open the game I have to log in with steam every time, the game sometimes even forgets my login data and I have to input it all over again and it's the worst because the game often crashes at that stage and I just can't enter. that's a result of steam's security policy, it doesn't allow a key to be saved for sky which means you have login to steam every time to login to sky. you can link another account like google and use that to sign in to avoid having to enter your login info every time. keep in mind google is a permanent bind if you choose to use that as a secondary link

yeah you can have both steam and google linked, if you tap on the cog wheel on mobile, go into account settings, you should see a bunch of options to link your account with different platforms. google is probably the most common/simplest

That's not a thing. Unless you're just talking to friends you have on discord while playing sky
there is no voice chat in sky. you'd have to use an external app like discord, a phone call, etc

Are they ever gonna fix the Android resolution back?
Devs might be working on whatever caused serious issues for several Androids. But I'm not a Dev, so I don't know for sure.

I'm pretty sure the reduced resolution is on purpose and they might bring it back once the issues are fixed
Apparently some of the crashing for Androids was related to graphics, that is why Devs rolled back with that feature.

Actually, I never had any problem with the game at all. Not even server errors.
Not all Android devices had issues, but certainly a good number of them did if Devs took that decision. You were lucky. But I saw enough reports from players who's devices would crash right after starting.

TGC CEO Jenova Chen said in an online interview that this is the first time they used leaves and branches on trees because they found a way to render them without too much load on mobile devices. However it's still a higher load than before and some device might not be able to keep up with this technology. It might be that the new features are not optimized for all devices or the UI of your device might be conflicting with Sky.

I remember when I first started the game the graphics wasn't really that good but it improved a lot
I just finally got a taste of what the game potential could be and now are really missing it.
And also, to be honest, I thought the game was always like that until 1 day I saw iOS and the game's looks so different.
In the early Sky global times the graphics was pretty good, but only high end android devices were able to keep up with it. Around Sanctuary Season the decision was made to expand the compatibility for a wider range of devices, allowing more to play Sky than ever before. That of course needed a sacrifice, an significant image quality drop and issues with poorly optimized or not so strong devices (which shouldn't even be compatible before). Since then the game has improved a lot and there were amazing steps up in quality.

Did you ever log into someone else's account or did your friend ever log into yours in the past, or did you two use the same payment source anytime previously?
We don't use same payment source but she did log in my acc

That is the cause of the issue. That not only breaking Sky Terms of Service
but also can mess up IAPs. 
Try to contact support in-game, but because of what the login created, it's not guaranteed they could help you either

The situation is not usual. I recommend the following:
- delete the data of the game both of you (note: you need your account to be synced to login back to Sky)
- discard the payment methods you're using (regardless of credit card, or Google account, or any other methods) and use a different unique payment source for future purchases
- you can contact support in-game regarding the previous purchase

Unfortunately, your choices are... meeting up through that mutual friend to rekindle or sending a friend code to them to re-add via a social media contact. Unfriending cannot be reversed.

These are all smart things to try, but it isn't my wifi. It works fine on my other devices, and even different apps on the same device I have Sky on. Thank you though! I'll definitely be filing that link away for later use 
Read through the guide again, seems like you missed at least 3 important points from it 
Possible reasons:
- weak wifi antenna on particular device
- connections fluctuate
- temporary package dropouts
- if it happens at social wax spots, make sure you're actually active, not afk

been struggling for a while now and none of what I get told helps
Download another brand new browser (like Brave, Waterfox or Firefox) and during launch it will ask to be default. Agree and restart device. Try again.
If that doesn't help, there's still a chance, but slower:
- use local account before pressing the play button
- if it's not your account but a brand new moth account, contact support in-game from it (support response might take several days) asking for restoration to your local account
- if it's your account, sync another method to your account which is less buggy than steam (for example: Google)

- If that doesn't help, you might try to click on "It's not you" and actually log into your steam account again.

Maybe try using a different browser? Not sure what may be causing the crashing.
It's not a browser thing, just when I press connect from in the Sky app, it tells me to log into twitch, I put my info in and when I press connect, it closes the Sky app 
maybe make sure the app isnt being closed to save on resources you should be able to change that setting on the phone's side at least on my android... other than that idk what to tell you

I'm sorry for the confusion, I'm actually really stupid at this and I had everything linked even tho I don't play in them , but I have unlinked successfully like fb ...I know Gmail is permanent but steam is still linked and when I click on the unlink Option it keeps showing as the screenshot, I have tried the same thing on my second account and it's unlinked successfully I just don't know why this account doesn't want to unlink steam in it

ah, that error is caused by being signed in with facebook most times. try linking a spare google account, using google to sign in to your sky account, then try to link nintendo

How do you get the recordings to work? All I see are lines. It's been like that for months and I just wanna record smt ;-;
Hi! Seems like your particular device has conflicting issues with the necessary graphics drivers for Sky. Here are some tips:
- click the fire emoji on the channel bottom of #report-a-live-bug to make a bugreport for your device, because most devices are not affected. Skybot app will contact you for details in DM.
- Try using Android 's built in recorder or a third party recorder like AZ Screen Recorder from the play store.
This has worked in the past on this device, will sky in the future drop support for devices which previously had these features?
There are several scenarios:
- the device might have gotten a bugged android update (often happens with budget midrange devices)
- the new Sky updates have new graphics (more about it here: #android-questions message and here: #android-questions message) and your manufacturer might have dropped support of driver updates
- it might be a conflict with your particular device regardless future support, a clash in codes vs drivers
Regardless of reasons, checking for Android updates and reporting it as a bug are great steps towards potential solutions!

Make sure to report it as a bug, but it should not be an issue with third party recorders!

Is there an option to have two sky accounts on one phone, but have them separated? I am playing on Switch and want to connect my Steam account. Sadly my phone does not run Sky at all (I do not even find it in the playstore), so my only option would be to use a phone from a family member. The only thing is that everyone who has a phone running sky also plays it themselves. :D
I have my sky switch account on my phone and my little sister has her Google sky account so we can both play on my phone, so long as they also don't have a switch sky account linked or if you link your account to your Gmail it should work?

Anyone else having issues with the hide and seek pioneer quest? The spirit isn't glowing and when I completed the quest, it popped up on my screen but never counted. I tried to do it on both switch and Android, and it didn't work
This might not be an android related question....but another thing...are you sure you completed the correct quest? Did tried reliving the spirit or did you looked for this specific quest (located at forest clearing, right after social area)?
If the mission is the correct one, perhaps there was some internet instability. Have you tried changing your internet source? (such as from wi fi to data, or a different wi fi)

Alright so I tried linking my twitch account and unlinking my steam account but when I click unlink it links the account again. But when I tried to link my twitch account it kept saying it was successfully unlinked...
Are you signed in using facebook?
Yes I was! I temporarily unlinked the account. However I relinked it after linking my twitch. I hope this doesn't terminate the time I've already watched the streams for.
It does not terminate anything, it's saved on your twitch account
Linking/unlinking doesn't affect stuff saved there 
I just claimed the drops off of twitch, when am I expected to receive the candles and trail spells?
if you've claimed them on twitch, go into sky and in your account settings and click "check for drops" under the twitch link

As of now, keyboard support it's limited to iOS devices, hopefully it will arrive to Android devices soon.

It’s the spirit that gives the jumping emote, where you skate around the arena to catch the purple stars.
Is it normal for it to bug out? It’s not working for me, and I’m wondering if I’m missing something. From what I understand, I just need to collect the purple lights, but they’re not registering, so I can’t finish the spirit.

Hey guys! Quick question here, when playing on Android with a connected controller is there a way to change your keybinds? I find that for some reason on mobile my quick select/favorite emoji wheel thingie doesn't pop up when I press LT but when on PC and using the same controller it works perfectly fine
Did you mean pressing and holding LT? I found one of my controllers responded better to long press than short press
Also as far as I know, there's no option to change any bindings in mobile Android

Unfortunately, text not appearing on certain Android devices is a bug that's been around for quite some time. If you don’t see any text, I suggest sending in a bug report about it in #report-a-live-bug, to give the devs more information that can help solve the issue.

It's a connection issue on your side 
You have a connection which is ok for basic online activities, but hardly can keep up with Sky
There was a hacker in the current server, i don't think my wifi is that good to make a connection issue

quick question to all the @android players... did you feel like performance increased/improved when they added the FPS option?
I'm playing on a Pixel 6Pro and I used to have a lot of lag in Forest and GW ... probably 3 out of 4 times.
If was bad when I played on the 0/3 ⚡ and mostly unplayable if I played it with ⚡⚡⚡ setting.
Now I never have any lag or stuttering when playing on the lowest setting and it is mostly ok if I play on higher settings to get nicer videos on mobile.
To me the performance vastly improved. My phone is a 2 years old model which had one of the best GPUs and the clarity, the 120 fps and overall feel since the fps update finally made the overall experience better than on iphone. I was having highly praised Pixels (5, 5a, 2) and other Androids which were only close to it at their best. Now the tables turned.
Pixels have a well optimized android system but they didn't get the best graphics processors in the market. The 6 series got some strong criticism regarding their performance, especially when it came to gaming, and their cheaper Tensor chipsets were introduced with Pixel 6, their optimization has never been good. The newer Pixels are better and seem to have corrected those flaws.
Regardless, it's recommended #report-a-live-bug regarding its performance drop after each patch, and try to use the game in 1/3 ⚡ graphics settings with 30fps. That should have the best of both worlds. 0/3 sacrifices quality or fps too much, 3/3 might add too much sparkles and barely noticeable effects which might be too heavy for the GPU.
how exactly should one use the FPS setting? I thought that more arrows means smoother gameplay but that ended up reducing my performance.
The FPS Setting is meant to allow for smoother performance on stronger devices?
I'm currently running 1/3 Resolution and 2/3 FPS as a test
Usually higher fps should feel smoother unless your device is struggling to keep up with Sky. A less optimized or not so strong device might try to render the game at higher fps but when it hits its limits, you can experience lags most likely in frame drops or stuttering. TGC has a pretty great amount of devices to alpha test, but even beta testers don't (and can't) leave enough bugreports to cover all fps settings for all devices. It's also worth to mention that connection related imbalances can play a big part in lags as well.
