I had an account that I had been playing on for a while, I had completed most of the spirt constellations, had a lot of candles and a season pass, But then my phone crashed and wouldn't turn back on. I got a warranty replacement the other day and tried logging in through my google play account and Facebook account and both just logged me on as a new character. You can't unlink Game Center from your account, nor can you log into Game Center on an Android device. why 30 fps support removed from my device?
it can support upto 60 fps on asphalt9 (much heavier than sky)
Asphalt 9 is not sky. I don't know how you're able to compare two totally different games with different game engines and other priorities. Sky is a really GPU heavy game, so that's probably why it doesn't support a stable frame rate

Does anyone know why the screen is permanently dimmed in Sky (it's dimmer than my actual screen brightness and won't increase beyond a certain point)? Screen transitions are still max brightness, it's quite jarring.

I need a bit of help, and IDK if this is the right place to type this.
When the game updated to add the New Years and Days of Love stuff I deleted the app and wanted to reinstall it whole, but when I tried to install it, it would just get to 100%, stop, and then say it can't install SCOTL and to try again later. I've been trying for 2 weeks. 😭
I tried everything, clearing Google Play Store cache and data, restarting my tablet, and checked my wifi and storage, even went to see if my System or Google Play Store needed to be updated. But nothing, everything was fine.
I installed other apps to see if they would install and it's just Sky that won't. Idk if it's a bug, Google Play store, or my cheap tablet.
@sinful pelican please don't discuss or encourage the use of APKs. Downloading illegitimate copies of the game is against the Terms of Service and could contain malware. Trying to use APKs will result in download problems and may result in account data loss and inability to contact TGC support. APKs cannot be used to bypass the device incompatibility.

That's....new to me. Tbh I've never seen all options being capped to 20 fps. You could try (if you don't have much storage space left) deleting some unnecessary apps. Restart your device and maybe reinstall sky (but only if your account is linked to anything)

Your phones performance gets worse over time, so maybe your hardware isn't able to support 30 fps anymore

Well I'm not directly in contact with the developers. I'm also just a player, like you. You could ask support if there's any way to bring back 30 fps for you but aside from that, only a better device can help.

Does anyone else have a samsung galaxy 24?? 😭 I'm playing sky and everything is fine but the brightness!! The game looks so dim and I've tried turning the brightness up but it's not working. I even turned my maximum brightness up in settings and it's not working. When I take screenshots, the game is bright but it goes back to being dim 😭😭 I thought maybe it was my privacy screen but it's not.

So I speculated that she didn't finish collecting the spirit fragments (our server split so I teleported back to her and it's like this when I came back). Even when we ditched the task, whenever there was another spirit nearby, it would change into another expression altogether but there's still a button at the corner. :/

The cog is a known bug. As for the candle, it can be finicky. Try moving around the candle and that there is not the poor connection sign.

listen normally tgc is absolutely horrible with compensation. 45c, 18sc, "several" trail spells, plus days of fortune extension is absolutely astounding. to my knowledge the 0.24.3 android crashing was incredibly widespread (versus .1 and .2 which were smaller groups). perhaps they are rolling out compensation vs sending it to everyone at once. up above there was I'd gotten it an hour before and someone else had only gotten it 20 minutes before. all this to say, if you haven't received anything yet, maybe check back tomorrow or something :)

Hi all, I posted this on Reddit and a few other people said they were experiencing it too, but does it feel like the controls are sightly off for you guys as well? I feel like I'm flying more when I try to look around. I've also noticed that I press one button but it thinks I tap the one beside/above it. (I.E. When I try to go home, I open the piano instead.)
And while flying, sometimes my character will flap when I'm not even pressing the screen. It feels like everything's slightly off

Checked reports, there's definitely a few people who also can't get past the loading screen without a crash

I decided to make a report about the app closing after the TGC logo appears even though there are a bunch already. It seems like it might mostly be an Android 9 and Galaxy S8/A8 issue?
Which could explain why it's not on the list of known issues yet if it's only for a few models/platforms
The S8 series crashing was in beta for a while which got fixed in one build then crash again in the following one. It's still crashing til this day. I'm not sure how TGC is gonna prioritize it considering it affects phones with an old mali GPU.

look, the crashing for nearly all/many devices got introduced with the version 0.24.3. they fixed it for some/many devices with the 0.24.4 update, people were still having issues. we got the new update which is the 0.24.5 now and crashes got introduced again. tgc thought it got fixed with the 0.24.4 but didn’t state of being aware that some devices have the crashing again because of the 0.24.5, YES it’s annoying. NO tgc isn’t ignoring android users or thinking that it’s just a small issue. some bugs are more complicated than others, some are more common than others but that doesn’t mean there is no plan on fixing it generally talking

I was affected by it but I couldn't check if I get the compensation or not since the game is AGAIN Crash exactly like last time.

If you go to the #bug-reports-android channel and click the little fire emoji you should get a dm and the bot will walk you through the reporting process :)
!thatskybug - the bot has a message link (last blue thing) which you can tap which has instructions, the bug report channel ( #report-a-live-bug ) also has small instructions at the very last message to which you have to react to with the flame symbol and make sure your dms are open! the bot will dm you and ask questions about the device and the bug

sky sells irl merch such as pins and plushies. some of them come with a star on them, that when you activate it in game, will give you something ingame! e.g. let you wear a special cape

it’s a compensation and yes many have got it while no many haven’t gotten it but they were affected by the crashes which caused those player to not be able to play during a time period. if you were affected of this issue (constant crashing and not being able to get into the game at all to play) you can contact support about not having got your compensation.

Hello, I have a big question, is it normal that you don't receive the compensation candles for the bugs that happened? I honestly suffered from the fragment bugs, sky closed about two times, I changed servers about 10 times in less than half an hour, I don't know if it's normal that you don't receive the normal candles and the seasonal candles

I think TGC is able to trace the device your skykid started on and determine if the device fell under the affected device models.
An account that started on the S8 got compensation when i logged into it with an S24. I did not file a crashing report coz i stopped using that S8 to play.
My cell phone is a Xiaomi, I'm not sure if it counts
i heard from someone only playing iOS that they got it 
I read this version (0.24.5) should still be playable for Android 8 and above
So everyone having the crash issue who has Android 9 or other should be able to play and this is just something tgc has to fix

I don't like how Aurora season made it. It's buggy, stairs are blocked with that giant "brick", columns are ethereal (No collision) and there's invisible block of something solid I stumbling upon all the time. 😦

The red dot on ⚙️ is a bug and it is listed already on the #known-issues meaning they are working to fix it.
react to the flame icon at the bottom of #bug-reports-android and a bot would DM you to guide you through filing a report.

A friend of mine that never experienced the bugs or crashes told me he recieved 45 normal candles and 18 seasonal candles

What I experienced from 8th till 11th.
My game crashed several times then I can access the game only to find all the text disappeared and the event currency was written "Localize Me" and then force closed.
It happened exactly the same length of time as this current Crash.

Androids are currently bugged trying to add other androids, if your friend plays on switch or ps they can still add your friend code

If it's the same issue that was brought over from beta, the crash affects devices with an old Mali GPU. Primarily among the S8 and S9 series. For the record, i have an S8 and it's still crashing on me for beta til this day.
I hope it won't reach to a point where dated GPU phones will no longer be able to play Sky

You can try submitting a report via #beta-bugs-android saying you were affected and did not receive compensation. React to the flame icon and a bot will DM you for info to compile as the report to submit for you.

hi, I still have one chevron but no wax is popping up when I light a candle or a darkness plant, what's that about? I have only been to Prairie, hidden forest briefly, and in golden wasteland for candleruns, but I went to valley and isle of dawn and no wax came from any of the candles
is this just a me thing?
Today I went only to the hidden forest and everything was ok but 2 days ago my sky was really weird too
perhaps this is related to that if you wear these hairs they'll instead default to moth hair. that is in known issues so theoretically a fix is in progress

if you have Android 9...yeah...many of those devices are experiencing crashes. Devs are aware. But you can file a report if you feel you can provide more information for the Devs to figure out what is going on and which devices are affected.
