No, they mean this is not how the game is designed and if you want to circumvent afk timer, it's your problem. Moreover afk damages phone battery. The other side of your problem is that TGC is nerfing afk. Less wax available (250 per place instead of 1000altogether). There are plenty ways to get same amount of candles in fracture of that time

There are hundreds if not thousands of different androids all with different specs and all manufacturered differently. A bug happening on your Android type usually won't occur on the rest of the androids. You're free to not report it, but crashing issues isn't a 'global' issue, it tends to be a very specific type of android issue. And going back to all androids are made differently, it's helpful to give your experience and your device to TGC so they're aware of all the androids that it's affecting, and which ones aren't being affected

Hmm I don’t know how to solve the issue with google play recorder but it’s not very useful, quality is low, can’t separate microphone from ingame sounds, the UI is still being recorded. You are much better using other recorder app at least some will have better quality and let you record only ingame sounds (no microphone).

I have two Samsung devices: One is the Galaxy s20 FE
The other is the regular Galaxy s20 Exynos version. I've had the game crashing on my s20 a few times now in the last two days.

Meanwhile the Galaxy s20 Fe has had no crashes at all in a few months. Both are running the same version of Android and on the latest security patch.

If you Google exynos issues, you'll find a lot of forums about them. Many Samsung exynos models produce issues with their own OS and other apps such as device heating up without reason, battery drain overnight, UI lags, device restarts, while the same models with snapdragons don't. Keep an eye out on the original post in #known-issues when will it be updated. TGC did a potential fix addressing it but it came out it didn't work and still users seasonal candles and hearts can turn into regular ones. The bug seems to be triggered by using its map shrine or pressing the home button or having the game closed there, so you may avoid the bug by using it with attention. It's still best to avoid the area until they update the post and announce otherwise. There could also be updates via patch notes in #news

Yes correct. Some older devices still have access to the play store (iirc those old phones run Android 8 so support for them may be very limited anyway).

For clarification, newer Huawei devices are banned from the Google play store.

If you did not download sky from there, but instead downloaded it from the Huawei app store, then you can only save your progress or link to other devices by binding your Huawei account to your Sky account and can't bind a Google account.

New Huawei devices are treated in a similar way as a Switch or a PS as they have their own app stores which are segregated from Google accounts, unlike iOS which does allow authenticated logins with Google accounts.

Your friends can join you You just need to hold their hand and it will teleport them with you (including the friends holding your friend's hands) It works the same as the asteroid iap cape that came during LPP collab. It only working in the collesium isn't that bad either. I can see it being a bit of a hassle to need to get to the collesium, but the good outweighs the bad imo

I will say that the cape is expensive lmao and not worth it for me, but being able to see the concert once the season ends is pretty cool nonetheless

Sky ram usage is well optimized but it definitely depends more on decent GPU (not CPU) and bugfree drivers.
Samsungs are definitely not recommended because they have duct taped graphics drivers and Samsung players experience significantly more bugs and crashes

Sounds like you got some misinfo or someone somewhere got confused. You can only place down this prop. There is a lamp/lantern you can hold which is an iap from days of summer, and costs like $19.99. I have a big question related to android and Xbox controllers. I have 2 controllers. An Xbox one and an Xbox series controller. The thing is i never had any issues on compatibility with my Xbox one controller, however, I recently got an Xbox series controller but when I open the game, I can't use it, if I press B it recognizes I'm trying to go back or close the game instead of the B button... Does anyone know how to fix that??

Nevermind! I thankfully just managed to fix it after trying everything for more than 3 hours straight! I tried playing another game which I managed to play with this controller. So so i figured it was something related mostly to the app. I went to sky app settings, advanced settings, full screen mode, and enabled, and that was it. Switch has much better graphics and the overall performance is very good in charged and docked mode, but no emojis available in chat using switch.

I forgot to mention, on android I also often get stuck... how to say, on the left the control panel goes wild and my character either can't be moved or runs on it's own. usually the fix is to tp home or restart game. it gets annoying when you are at a difficult part of the game or happens too often.

you maybe can just buy a xbox controller to avoid touch screen. cheaper than switch. the most annoying i feel about switch is we cannot adjust camera on its touchscreen nor move using touchscreen. its typing input is also painful.

@haughty lily Well, depending on the device brand it can vary. On my cellphone (Xiaomi), I just went to settins > apps > Sky and the options of permissions, storage, advance settings are there. However, on my tablet (Huawei) there isn't such option, but i guess it's something than can be modified on the Game booster menu that is available to change stuff for gaming when a game is open. Please upload a screenshot of what you can see on your Sky app settings.

As @scarlet hound mentioned. A controller could be a better solution. I 100% recommend Xbox one controller. I've never had any issue connecting that model to any of my devices. I did have issues with the Xbox series controller. So i can just recommend the Xbox one. It's also possible to use the Xbox series but depending on the device you might experience specific issues.

Exactly. It's right in that section. But unfortunately i can't see any option related to Fullscreen mode. I'll show you what my interface looks like.

That's how I fixed the issue on my cellphone. Besides that, the same controller also had another issue but this time on my tablet. When i connected the Xbox series gamepad wirelessly, it worked perfectly, however, when i tried to connect it by plugging it with the cable, 2 things used to happen...

1. The controller vibrates and it's directly connected to the game, however, there's an issue with the right stick, it keeps moving rightward neverending.

2. The controller wouldn't vibrate, but it's as if it is charging since i can manually turned it on, as if connected wirelessly, meaning, my tablet could charge the controller only but i had to connect it as if it were wireless...

When i say these 2 events happened, I thought it happened randomly, so i just kept plugging and unplugging the controller. Eventually, I realized it had to do with what I connected first...

The cable to the tablet or the cable to the cellphone.

When i connected the tablet first, I had the issue of the gamepad bugging when connected, but when i connected the controller first, then the tablet, the controller only charged.

You can try connecting your gamepad in different order, idk what it has to do with the compatibility but apparently there's something about it i was ignoring. Also, i was planning to go to dev settings, and check it there was something there i could change, but since I managed to find a solution, I never tried, I'll do it tonight and will let you know if it works 🙂

Note: this happened only with my Xbox series gamepad, not the Xbox one gamepad.

Try to roll back the latest update if it's possible on your phone and uninstall recently installed android apps and change recently changed settings. hi. i have a chance to test a zenfone 9 recently. i found it easy get heat when playing Sky (about 40 degrees Celsius). is that normal ?
i learn that samsung s23 will be relase soon.According to information leaked on the Internet, s23 size similiar to zf9 but the screen ratio seems more suitable for that kind of size for me ( zf9 seems narrow and the font size still too small to read even compared to huawei nova 2i or i6s). i also read s23 may will be able to handle temperature more well. but all info above maybe just rumor bc s23 has not been release yet.

Does Sky run in HDR?? I noticed that my phone rGTn3(hdr capable Amoled) outputs color a little differently than my other phone r7pro(non hdr sAmoled).

Some processors (not phone case, don't confuse) are rated up to 80 Celsius safe (although a 80 C component might not be healthy for other components like battery inside a small phone)

I recommend to refrain from Samsungs. They have very buggy android updates. My personal recommendations are Google pixels (no thrills and whistles just bugfree droids with excellent battery life management and great camera) or any even used iphone 11 or above.

Additional tips:
· Sometimes the issue can resolve itself automatically or if you try on another connection.
· Make sure you don't use v.p.n.

Yeah unfortunately sky isn't optimised well for androids, other platforms except ios as well. Ios probably has the best graphics for Sky, there are definitely a couple androids who get quite close to ios though,

This is because of android fragmentation. There are too many android resolutions on millions on droid devices therefore the game engine upscales it during gameplay and there's no native resolution. The screenshot button in-game pauses the game for a half sec and takes possible best quality

When we talk about priorities it is wise to know that majority of development resources goes to fix Android device bugs and keeping Android compatibility.🤖 So from 10 days of work labor at least 5 goes to droids and the rest to all other (PS switch and ios) platforms together. So Android gets priority. ☝️ One can logically ask why Androids have so many issues in the game then?
The answer is Android fragmentation. 💥 There's no other platform which can be twisted and turned like Android and there are tens of millions of device hardware variations and software variations available amongst the devices of the world. For example Switch has only one (and even switch has many bugs!) Therefore Android will always have more bugs not because of priority or attention or not caring, but in fact because Android is a little chaos. No wonder that there have already been small steps made to make Androids and Android devices more standardized in terms of OS and screen resolution because it's a pain to develop any app for Androids. OS wise it's a hard job as well, Samsung is a good example when they can't fix bugs in their own Android for months. For example if you make a simple app for iOS you would need 3 versions of that app package. For Androids at it's 10-20+ at least (and the number of possible bugs multiply with those many builds). Moreover statistically, you'll always see more complaints from a platform which has more users.

P.s.: currently iOS users crash often several times as well, some areas became a bit laggy, many iOS musicians could not play instruments for a month and I can continue with other platforms issues as well but because they are less in numbers and variations, they are not that noticeable

As I already replied back then as well, it is the manufacturer's fault. It's their responsibility not to shut down the phone for any reason.
Unfortunately - unless you can make a better droid then them - you can't fix it.
The most optimal - yet can sound drastic - solution would be selling that phone and buying another one.
Samsungs struggle as well - one of the world's biggest giant phone corporation can't fix a bug in their own droid

If you have any receipt of past IAP purchase (can be cosmetics or adventure pass) that can help to identify your account (is you didn't save your account recovery ID back then). With that you can contact support through their website - or much straightforward to contact then in-game from a new moth account - to ask for account restoration on your new device

If you search online you can see several complaints about issues not fixed for months, overheating, restart and battery drain issues especially on exynos.

If you look back in this channel Samsungs had the very very (I mean terribly) big blur and anti aliasing issues as well for Sky, no other devices had that bad in some past builds. Almost only Samsungs had the big font bug in Sky. It's not because of Samsung user numbers.

I don't say all of them are bad but they are more prone to bugs recently outside sky as well. If you keep an eye out on this topic we could track back with several users these Samsung bugs became more frequent since some android system updates.

If you read back #bug-reports-android channel about 5 out of 10 bugreports are from Samsungs (I checked past 20 to make an estimate). Samsungs are so much prone to bugs, they didn't conquer 50% of the smartphone market

Additional tips:
· Sometimes the issue can resolve itself automatically or if you try on another connection.
· Make sure you don't use v.p.n.
· Some players were able to resolve the issue by deleting and reinstalling Sky (if account is synced)
· For some players it resolved itself by changing device language or location settings in Google account
· Changing device can help too
