Sky doesn't take up a lot but to download and update it needs extra. That extra used to be 3gb, but now it's 5-6 for whatever reason. The extra gb is needed to ensure the device has enough storage and can actually run sky after installing.. except it shouldn't need 5-6 but it is what it is

Your phone needs the extra space to apply the update and compare it to a good checksum before replacing your installed older version. This extra space is to prevent a bad download from having you needing to download and install the whole game after a failed update. I fixed this problem, what I had to do is clear the app's cash and then all the user data. I logged in with my google account and then I was able to link my psn account. Now it says linked instead of unlinked, I hope i could help the others with the same issue.

Additional tips:
· Sometimes the issue can resolve itself automatically or if you try on another connection.
· Make sure you don't use v.p.n.
· Some players were able to resolve the issue by deleting and reinstalling Sky (if account is synced)

It hasn't been fixed yet. It's generally safe as long as you don't go straight home or close sky while there. That's what triggers the bug (for whatever reason) Exiting through the entrance or going to one of the seasonal wind paths first seems to guarantee that it won't trigger it

Most players are longing for yours that in-game screen recorder doesn't show emotes. If you want the menus to be seen you're free to use Android 11 system's (and up) native recorder or screen recorder by Kimcy or any third party app

Now I get it! UI less recording (no menu) is impossible on Android. This is not a game edit thing, just android handles everything strictly in one layer, therefore Sky (or any other recorder) can't override it yet.

It'll be safe dw. The only thing you need to make sure of is you know what the account is linked to and the password. Clear data clears what it remembers, aka the login info and stuff like that. Your progress isn't saved to your device as it's an online game and is instead saved to the servers or whatever it's called I don't know the terms but clearing data is safe as long as you know your login info. If you want to be extra safe, screenshot your sky id before doing it

I seriously need help with this, I'm at a point where it's starti f to stress me out. When I first started playing I connected my school email to my sky account, but over the summee it got disabled by whoever ran the gmail accounts at my old school. This is of course my fault, and I did not think this through.
The thing that really worries me is that I CANNOT disconnect it. I also can't sign in to my deactivated account to disconnect it because apparently you need to select the account you want to unlink from your accounts page on google. Since I can't select it, I can't unlink it to link it with my new email.

Because of this I also can't recieve emails from support through the sky app because I don't have an active email attached to my account

Unfortunately you can't swap or change an email to a Sky account, even support can't do it and I'm sure that teachers or whoever created that Gmail address won't play Sky with it because they don't know what apps you're using. But you can sync the account with another sync method and you should be able to sync and log into your progress with the new method from now on

Support can't change an email address linked to a sky account, but they can transfer the game progress from a sky account to another.
I had kind of a similar problem:
contact sky support through your current email or from their website, they'll probably tell you to make a new sky account, link your current email address, and then they'll transfer your progress to the new sky account, and you'll be able to play and have all your things back 🙂
The only thing they'll need is skme proof that the account you need is actually yours, so tell them some things you remember about your account: friends names, cosmetics you have, etc.

No and no. First of Google is sadly a permanent link, you can't unlink it no matter what once linked. It has to do with Google's policy. Support won't unlink it either. You can't transfer data from one account to another, that's impossible and support can't do it. Though you should be able to link Nintendo. What screen are you trying to link Nintendo from? A screenshot would help

What you seem to have done is opened sky on switch first before linking Nintendo to your main account on mobile or whatever device you're on. Doing so automatically makes a moth account on Nintendo and links it. To prevent it you need to link Nintendo to your main on mobile first, and then start up switch and sky

In few recent patch updates people have been able to update/install Sky after having more than 5gb+ free internal storage space, no matter how small the patch updates were. If you have more than 5gb free space but still unable to install, you can try clearing google playstore cache and restart phone before attempting to install again. I hope it works

Keep an eye out on the original post in #known-issues when will it be updated. TGC did a potential patch addressing it but it came out it didn't work and still users seasonal candles and hearts can turn into regular ones. However the bug seems to be triggered by pressing the home button or closing the game there and I use it every day on my very own responsibility and always close the game or press home in other areas. It's best to continue to avoid it until they update the post and announce otherwise.

Additional tips:
· Sometimes the issue can resolve itself automatically or if you try on another connection.
· Make sure you don't use v.p.n.
· Some players were able to resolve the issue by deleting and reinstalling Sky (if account is synced)
· For some players it resolved itself by changing device language or location settings in Google account
· Changing device can help too
This all above should help, if in-app purchases are not available for you.

Hi! It must be your android system error with some graphics driver issues because no app should make a phone restart in itself. You have been asking about several bugs in past, it seems your device is buggy pretty much. Connected wifi is not enough for Sky though, the quality of the connection towards your wifi router matters the same way

I’d recommend to use other screen recorder app. The one ingame is using google play games recorder, it’s low quality and can’t separate internal sound from microphone, we can’t even get clean recording from it anyway.

If you have a samsung then you turn on touch protection,which kind of turns off the device without turning of the device

It basically dims the brightness to minimum as the screen can go and disables touch except in the center of the screen so you can turn off touch protection

Just looks like a good ol error during the purchase. Can happen to any platform. If money was taken off and you don't have it in the closet, you can do the following in order

Restart Sky
Go back to where you bought the antlers and see if it says 'free' instead of a price, if so you can freely tap on it and you'll receive it, you won't be double charged
If the above doesn't work, go to the shop and tap 'restore purchase', it should find the bought but missing antlers and send it to your account
If the above doesn't work, contact support with the purchase receipt for proof and say that you didn't get it. Don't ask for a refund, say you didn't get it and they'll send it to the account eventually

While waiting for support you might also end up receiving it within 24h. It's usually recommended to wait for 24h for that reason but since support can take up to a week to respond, you can contact now

People lose their accounts because they either don't link their account to anything and/or don't save their sky ID, it's often not linking their account. It's always recommended to save your Sky ID as that's used to restore your account

As for the not being able to update, make sure you have 5-6gb as that's the requirement to update and install

Support does help, but depends on how you ask and word it. There are very limited ways on how you can restore your account as well, without your sky id or proof of purchase, chances are pretty much zero

i don't really know why but i can't access higher graphics and frame rate higher than 30fps. my phone isn't low on spec and it seems that the game does not support 60fps on my device or is it something else

Many phones are stuffed with a lot of ram (because that's cheap) but manufacturers often cut costs on GPU (not CPU, don't confuse). This could be the reason.

The other thing is how stable (noct duct taped) drivers the manufacturer adds to their phones.

I’d recommend to have your sky account linked to multiple sign in methods and not relying only on facebook sign in as it often have problems like this. If your sky account linked to multiple methods, when facebook login have issues, you can sign in with google instead, or nintendo account. This way you can access your sky account as long as the server is alive.
