The 13Mb update is a "delta update." They take a copy of your current version and apply the update, then it verifies the update against a known working version and make sure the checksum is the same before deleting the old version from your device. Essentially, you need double the app size for this update process.

The bonus of delta updates: less data needs to be downloaded. (Which means less data usage on your internet connection, which is definitely wanted if you're on a metered connection. Even if you have 'unlimited' data, the less download time is always welcome) Without delta updates, you'd need to download the whole 1.5Gb update.

Not entirely true! You can change the linking by, well, linking another platform's account. I've done it with mine so it's most definitely doable. All you have to do is go into your account, add an account by another platform of your choice that is not the one you're trying to change, then you can remove the account you want and change it to whatever you want! (Afterwards you can also remove the other platforms login, of course)

Android has the most development resources and attention from TGC by keeping all those many models, twisted android variations and duct taped Vulkan drivers. Development is far from perfect but tries to fix the chaos what manufacturers could not create correctly, unfortunately. As a dev pointed out the most of the resources go on keeping various Android compatibility

iPhones don't have exclusive items or seasons though. They only have the headphones which we all know why can't be implemented to android. Sky was first released on iPhone, so yes people with iPhones could've started playing early and essentially got more seasons. That's not TGC's fault though and don't mean that "iPhones have exclusive seasons and items"

There seems to be an issue in Sky with x-input devices and DualShock devices that don't properly implement the d-pad. However, a switch pro controller does have the d-pad functional. There may be a few edge cases but that seems to be the gist.

it's an issue that has just arisen less than an hour ago, actually, it seems that doing most things revolving seasons is corrupting people's data. The best thing your friend can do is contact Sky Support (better if they have their sky Account ID with them) and ask for help

I would like to share with you my dissatisfaction, for a while I have been realizing that TGC has been neglecting android players, and this is not today, it is a complete lack of respect for TGC to release a game for android and not keep the same care that it has with other platforms, android players often use intermediate smartphones, especially in brazil, after the last update TGC completely ignored this by increasing the graphic resolution, all intermediate cell phones are having constant crashes with the game because they are not holding up, many players like i already invested money in SKY account to buy pass, TGC could simply give players the option to choose the type of graphic quality, like all other games have, unfortunately me and most of my friends can't play, because the game is all the time at 15FPS down, with that I'm leaving the game, and I believe I won't be the first, if you also feel that way don't be that in a game that doesn't respect you as a player, that's it, I'm sad to have to leave the game, but I'm being forced, because I can't play below 15FPS

Are you trying to unlink Gmail from your account and link it to another Gmail? If so you're having issues because gmail is impossible to unlink once linked, not even through support. A couple of login methods are permanent once linked. It has something to do with Google's policy and something on TGCs side but you can't unlink it unfortunately

If Facebook is your only other option then I recommend Nintendo as well. Much more secure than Facebook, and Facebook occasionally has login issues that affect all users with certain games. It's not a frequent thing but does happen. You don't need a switch to make a Nintendo account, you can create a Nintendo account on your phone or pc or whatever else online

Nintendo is also unlinkable as long as you don't purchase anything from the eshop (eshop won't be a problem if you don't even have a switch)

Np! There's one more thing you can try. Open your Google play games > Profile > Tap the 3 dots on top right > Settings > Change account for games > Find Sky then tap 'change' besides it (not the big 'change' in green at the top) > Change it to 'Ask each time'. ☝️ Devices have various hardware therefore the exact times to charge and play may vary, but here's some information which help to preserve the device's battery heath better and prolong its battery longevity.

⚡️Battery degrades mostly because of the following:

• charging cycles (how many times do you put it on a charger)
• heat
• letting the phone discharge to very low battery levels (or keeping it on charger overnight)

🔋 If your device gets hot easily, don't play while charging it, especially in hot conditions. If you need to charge during playing, set Sky graphics lower to minimize heat.
🔋 Cooling and removing case if it is hot is great, but drastic ideas (putting it in ice or freezer, etc) are not recommended.
🔋 Connect your device to charger at least around 15% and disconnect the charger at most around 90% battery level.
🔋 Turn off fast charge (if you have the option to - depends on device) if you don't need it.
🔋 Refrain from long demanding game sessions and avoid AFKing. These can heat up your device and drain a lot of battery.
🔋 Lowering brightness can help a bit as well.
🔋 Dont plug - unplug the device to charger repeatedly because it increases charge cycles

You can't, that's what definickly explained to you. Purchased candles (from season pass the bonus ones or all bonus candles that come with IAPs) are not transferable. This is because of strict Nintendo sales policy.

If you mean you got 12 candles from candle run and you don't see that increase on both platforms, that's a bug and do #bug-reports-switch. But non-cr candles don't transfer

I had that problem and, I had to change it on Google play, you need to go in the settings of Google play and change the default account that is linked to Sky

Is it normal to crash after awhile of play? I can at least play for 30 minutes or more, but it crashes randomly after awhile.

My phone specs shouldn't be the issue, and I have enough memory to spare. Also, I prefer playing on the 60 fps version, and my phone is a RedMagic 6 Pro ("gaming phone" basically)

Is this just the norm unless you are using a device considered an exception?

ZTE has been known to have shoddy drivers. It could be a certain graphics call the game makes and your phone is going and closing the game, or it could be something with Sky, but we would have seen more questions about the crash by now.

Especially since the Snapdragon 888 is used in quite a few flagship Androids.

Probably it's your connection (call your ISP), Sky is a very connection sensitive game

Often just android notifications are stuck: remove all notifications from phone notifications tray and restart device

Lately my game has been kicking me out when the frame rate drops. In Home it's fine, but once I go into other worlds it'll start slowing down until I can't do much. Eventually it kicks me out. Last time I played this wasn't an issue, but now that I've started playing again I rarely can stay in the game for more than a few minutes without lagging. Although, in some cases it has run smoothly for quite a bit so I don't think it's a storage issue.

You could try bringing your quality down in game or take away tabs running in the background. These might not work so I recommend doing some research.

Depends on device. For example Google pixels have very good quality, but can never be as good as switch or iOS resolution because of Android fragmentation (too many device specifics and duct taped drivers and ROMs from many android manufacturers)

It's a play games thing. It can automatically set a random email on your device to login for all games (or a specific game) and won't let you switch. There's a setting in there to change it and allow you to choose an email to login with
