I agree the glitter of the crystal is beautiful too, but I think TGC need to be careful when using changes that can be read as "intentional changes."
If the crystal is shining from the beginning, it will look naturally brighter when it gets dark, but the comparison video has added a brighter glow, and the gate debris will remain black at one time and turn red at another time.
This is not a lighting effect, nor is it a change that feels like a natural change.
Changes that do not feel natural are perceived by careful observers as "meaningful clues." Not all SkyKids compare dark and light backgrounds, so this change may not be considered a simple day-night difference.

Sure ... I'm not surprised that Sky often makes meaningful and meaningless changes, but I wanted TGC to think a little carefully and make it.😆

Today's shard sent me to the last one (specially the one on shipwreck area since near graveyard didn't work for me)
But overall I only done the shards on Forest (area outside temple) GW (forgotten ark mostly) and starlight desert near the small boat since I can't access to any other areas without crashing.

New Eden update. Solo player able to make it to end could reach all lamps in continuous and this red light(s) were in a pathway and when they'd pass by heavy rain would happen. Seems like you need to learn the red light paths and you'll be okay. Pathways repeated continuously too. I did have some issues where I'd still get clipped behind cover.

Took screens of the places I'd get clipped and sending to feedback. I got downed to a crawl after the last lamp, but that's good because previously I couldn't make it to even the second lamp. Deffo recommend running to the lamp first and lighting it and then going back for statues that you passed.

Great, lost a WL when collecting a spirit crab that was placed near a red crystal in the mini game. Thankfully it was the last to pick up so the mini game completed and I got AC candles. Otherwise, with the crawl in solo play, I would have had to warp home and back and start the shard event from scratch again (just like it happened in the Graveyard shard event where I lost another WL for similar reasons ). Is this what constitutes fun in Sky lately? ☹️

That "feature" was confirmed to be a bug by the devs. That Elder hair shield doesn't exist anymore
It did at some point, but was removed due to it being a bug

Idk if this is best placed here, but decided to make a graph to see how the S.C needed per season increased, and was pretty surprised to find that because the days of the seasons also drew longer over time, the minimum seasonal candles needed just fluctuates between 5 and 4 - mostly 4. Now that I've finished my tantrum: the pants are a slightly edited version of @edgy sorrel 's design (I am so sorry for the ping). LITERALLY I just added some spikes and changed the shape of the legs and layered it more. Here is theirs:

In my opinion, making the tentacles longer on the king jellyfish hair made them look a bit stringy, especially in contrast with the large and heavy looking “cap” of the hair. I‘ve wanted a jellyfish hair with thick tentacles since before sanc and I drew a more realistic version of my idea on top of bald turn around made by ari (#outfit-requests message). It could be even longer but it might cause clipping, and shorter hair would probably be easier to make with the time left for testing. I’ll also be sending this to feedback

Eden testing in latest beta version 0.18.0 (194410)
I went in solo with 145 winged lights and obtained 14.25 ACs.
Things i noticed:

• One more brazier(lamp) is added in continuous storm, the total there being 4 now but last 2 are useless because of the harsh continuous rocks.
  -None of the lamps in continuous rain are lit by default, so if we lose light we have to rely on either instant recharge potions or friends/acquaintances to recharge us.
  -If we place a recharge prop and it gets hit by the rocks, it disappears. There is a cooldown until we can place it again which is longer than regular cooldown to place that prop.

Gave up looking for the wl in whale memory (trust me when I say it wasn't there it wasn't there, should not take 45 minutes and 60% of a phone charge to find a wl that has documentation), so expressed mild annoyance at the quest giver.

But anyways... Found out how to do the creature quest portion without any shards or crabs. Was off-puttingly peaceful. Again, apologies for not helping. But in all honesty, this accidental discovery was a much more pleasant creature quest than the chaos we normally face
