I agree that the pride pins are excessive, I think the solution is to not have them at all though since as someone said-- I support days of rainbow being celebrated mainly by an LGBTQ audience for pride Month, but it seems like gatekeeping an event if it makes it hard for other people to participate who maybe don't care about/want/have flags.

Plus, there's no 'straight' pride,,, please don't suggest a heterosexual pin or anything to 'make it more inclusive'. Allies? Yes. But straight pride defeats the entire reason pride exists.
