apologies for so many pictures I compiled a bunch of comparisons between beta (left) and live (right). It seems like dreams and colo were hit the hardest, but the water in beta is a little more crusty and the sun's reflection got messed up in the flying race oob

For context: I noticed that someone had posted a bug where the character model was legs only (but they didn’t know what caused it) so I went in a hunting spree to find the source and I finally found it. the wiki is entirely fanrun and fanmade. it’s hosted on fandom, and the people updating stuff are players just like you I imagine you found it on the beta page? that is used as a way to compile information ahead of time, so the editors aren’t completely swamped when new content is released price charts are discouraged here because people will take them at face value and spread them around - potentially causing disappointment when something changes for live release

As per the pins, we are supposed to not do maps for the beta due to them being subject to change. If you need help to find the spirits (please leave feedback in case you really need this): All are above the surface. Quest giver is on the big boat. From there, you can see Bumbling Boatswain on the land next to it, a bridge leading to it. Follow the piece of land Boatswain is on until you reach the outside of Treasure Reef. There, you'll find Cackling Cannoneer. To the left of Cackling Cannoneer, there are rocks in the water after a short passage. Follow those to find Anxious Angler on the land behind those. Head back to the boat. On the end where it doesn't have a bridge, cross the sea to the closest piece of land available. Climb it, keeping near the inner shore of it. You'll find Ceasing Commodore.

I think the breath timer is linked to the swimming animation, much like how you can walk in the water trial water as long as you don’t start swimming - making it a lot easier to complete for taller skids

Some issues make it to live, others get squashed in beta. It's like playing Whack-A-Mole Extreme. Some bugs are bound to hit live. Hopefully some get squashed in time, other bugs might have a fix but missed the deadline and will be fixed the next live release... Or the bug stays for quite a long time. (Looking at you, High Candle) (Edit: or are you talking about the lighting issue specifically? Yes, it should be a similar bug to what beta is experiencing so those who experienced it in beta will experience it in live using the same device.)

yes, there is no area where your breath meter stops depleting except those which have bubbles. there’s no bubbles oob so it’s generally more dangerous than staying in bounds

In truth, I wanted to remain civil. I knew if I spoke on it too soon I'd be too absorbed in my personal feelings to give much useful feedback, but I saw a message wondering where the bird guy went and decided: Hey, why not? Let's give it another go.

I was recording the game to test the timing of how long could skykid stay in water, while I'm doing other stuff then accidentally found out about this (I just realized if you're head pops out 💤, then the meter will stop, but if you tap the screen again, the meter will continue to decreasing)
