Something something all cosmetics will always change colour perception upon viewing in every light setting ever, the actual colour is dependant on local colour surrounding the source to make it look warmer or cooler.

Anyway I think the top of the cape is pretty much the same hue as the pants, just the gradient near the bottom becomes a cooler tone

While i agree with some mentioning color theory and saying they still match, in my personal opinion they dont really ||btw no this isn't prarie lighting lol|| sure they could work in other realms, but you dont see the same happen with certain seasons, or even other cosmetics that would usually match eachother. here i picked pants, hair and cape from 3 different spirits from seasoj of performance to show even if they are not from the same "set" they still match very well, and its not dependant on lighting, since it could be argued the rainbow pants and cape are not a set.

While yes, its 80% nitpicking, me being the type of person who cant even stand a little clipping when it comes to wearing cosmetics or cosmetics not really matching eachother( ex. Black cape tier 2 doesn't match jelly whisperers light brown cargo pants) i get it! I think its valid for people to think they dont match

The cape literally has a gradient that has the cooler tone grey you have selected and the top part matches the pants with the same desaturated green you picked lol
If you want to look at the true colour for cosmetics, it’s best to view in overcast lighting (office or in the shade for prairie) because sunlight often washes out colours not leading to accurate perceptions of true colour.

Then understand the intentions of the artist, identify things that don't work for you, whether color, composition, content, etc., and close with another compliment.

This "sandwich" style of critique is not only helpful to you as a viewer of artwork and as a potential friend to those making artwork, but it's a tried-and-try method to help people psychologically to receive negative feedback. This is not something I'm just making up, it's something I have a lot of experience with. If you lead and/or close with negative feedback, it more often than not causes the recipient of your critique to take an adversarial approach to your advice, and you will get ignored.

I got krilled mid-cutscene and so I lost a wl. After, I was a corrupted skykid (or whatever you call it when a skykid is covered in blue crystals and crawling), except I had the normal skykid animation and behaviors (except for flying of course lol). Wish I got more screenshots and stuff xd.
