Because the rocks are rng:) For the most part that is. A couple of months back there was update that changed the mechanic a little. How much wl you lose will depend on the amount of wl you have in that moment time, and with that it changed the way the way the rocks work. For a lot of people walking in zigzags paths and not jumping helps, especially not jumping. But yeah the rocks are rng by the looks of it

They need to finish vault and meditate at the end and go through with it to eden that way. I don't believe that meditating and then leaving will unlock the eden gates at home, so they need to go to eden through vault, and then the gates at home will be unlocked. I'm not 100% on that but at very least they need to meditate at the end of vault

The pnr is a dangerous place where we give wls to statues while avoiding rocks. Yet the BG music is calm and sad. Quite beautiful imo

Anyone else have an issue with people trying to mess you up in Eden? Right as I went through pnr, my server got combined and I entered with 1 other person. They kept going out of their way to push me away from the statues and into the rocks. They also kept spamming on their instrument. I still managed to light all statues, but I lost at least 20 wl to them

You're not meant to stop the rain, stopping the rain would mean it would take probably an hour of standing in the dark water waiting to die. You're meant to die in eden:) There was however a bug where the rain would stop for some players, you couldn't trigger it, it would happen randomly. It stopped quite a few people from leaving eden
I can suggest to not jump in the endless rain, have a zigzag like path and use the pnr map if you find it hard to find the statues^^ (Pinned in this channel) And be patient to avoid losing wl before the endless rain, so you can have as much as you can to get as far as you can

Ok i just need some confirmation but why does eden need to be reset every sunday?

Because you need ascended candles. Think of it like wax you collect everyday to forge candles. If you went to do candle run in the same realm twice within the same day (before daily reset happens) would you be able to collect the wax again in your 2nd candle run? No because the wax hasn't been reset yet.
But instead of resetting everyday, the statues in eden reset once every week.

Eden is just very buggy and not fun to go through atm, I was so excited to get my four elder hairs with my friends but it bugged out for all of us in different ways. Game ended up crashing on all of us at the end so we all had to go through orbit alone (the video is me and the pic is one of my friends)

Imo, Having friends to do Eden with can be very beneficial, the deep chirps can replenish your light while you move and you’ll have to light less torches. As for candles, it depends on how many children you light 😬

Even if you go with friends, you only get candle credit for the statues that you light yourself. As Comet said, friends can be helpful for keeping you recharged and guiding each other to the statues, but the number of statues that your friends light will have no bearing on how many AC you get in the end

Not sure how much this'll help, but the best tip I personally can give you is to take your time. Don't rush it, listen for the audio cues, and the rocks (those which you hide behind) are your best friends. If you need, light a statue then run back to where you were instead of getting stuck in the open. Jumping can be risky (I've been blown around a few times) but it can also help you greatly, depending on where you're trying to go.

Hopefully that kind of helps, I'm not the best at explaining things in detail

If so, that's a Seasonal Candle. You can use it to purchase cosmetics from the Seasonal Spirits available this Season ( Season of Abyss ). Those Seasonal Spirits can be found at Treasure Reef, which is an area that can be accessed by boat in Golden Wasteland.

Probably get as many as you can. You won't get a lot of AC with 20, you'll get 5ac max out of the maximum 15.75 per week. 20 is just so new players have something to go in with and can get some AC at least, and so they don't accidentally dragged in by older players. Recommended is 70wl, and 105 if you get all existing realm wl, and you can ofc get up to 189 with wing buffs

You can also go multiple times in a week to get majority of the AC with a small amount of wl each time, but it's extremely time consuming and totally up to you, if you have the time

Is this your first time doing eden? Because you're supposed to lose all of your winged lights to finish eden. And you need to buy everything (except tier 2 wingbuffs and stuff it unlocks) in a constellation in order to get the ultimate gift of that constellation.

Eye of Eden sky-kid height question! 🤔
I'm still an eden newbie (tomorrow will be my fourth run). My sky-kid is nearly the tallest height. I've got the chibi mask, but not sure if being tall is going to make me get hit more easily by the rage-rocks, or if being chibi means I'm going to get whipped around by the wind even more, or if being tall/small/chibi makes any difference in the end! I hit panic mode too fast whenever i enter 😅

In my experience as a tall skid squeeshd into a smol chibi, I found that eden is a bit tricky as a chibi since you get stuck on the ground a bit while navigating the terrain. I’ve done Eden at the tallest height many times, a couple of years ago rocks would just slap me in the face even in areas where there wasn’t continuous rock rain. However now it’s much better, and completely manageable at the tallest height. I would say to keep at your normal height rather than going chibi. That being said, going chibi can be a fun little challenge. This is just my experience, try it out for yourself and figure out which one you feel more comfortable with.

Being small doesn't matter much. I'm about a hair length above shortest height and have no issue compared to when I was tall. Chibi height is a different story, though since physics are ignored by Chibi folk. (Like falling into cracks on the floor normal height skykids don't do)

question: aside from the first area shortcut, is there any other shortcuts that is available for a newbie that is easy to pull? I always enter eden in 8th level, though never used chibi mask to solo eden

by first area shortcut you mean flying over the wind and rocks to get to the area with the first eden wl?
there's another shortcut for the second area, where you glitch through a wall, and follow the clouds all around to the other side of eden. i'm trying to find a video right now! this one should be fairly easy to pull off

On the second area, i fly from the start of the platforms for the tower (right before that zig-zaggy bridge bit you can hide under) to the top-left platform that takes you into the pipe to go inside the tower(the one that the krill lights shine through)
I've seen a tutorial where you fly from the bottom of the tower to the top- you can't get in, but the game counts it as a checkpoint so if you go home and back in you'll be at the top.
I honestly still can't get that shortcut for part 1! Such a bad flyer 😅

you can still do a safe shortcut for part one, just hop down before you get to the rocks flying everywhere and you can cross safely underneath it all. you'll still have to face the gap(tm) of doom though hah

you can chibi fall through eden's gate, head through the portal and use the return shrine/just return home - this should free you from stormlock

if you don't have chibi mask, you can ask someone to help in #looking-for-group-live

additionally, this doesn't work if you've already given some wl to statues in eden.

(and no i don't think stormlock resets with eden reset, but if you went into pnr accidentally and you've already gone this week, waiting until reset will reset the statues for you)

That is not bug, it's intentional because you're not supposed to go home once you've entered pnr. Hence the name, the point of no return

I feel you - i refused to go through until the end of the Little Prince season forced me to. 🤣 You can't go in til you have over 20 WL anyways - there's some great plot twists that might get spoiled coming into this specific chat room before you do though. You can get friends to bring you through if you're scared... but I think it's rewarding to go on your own

Yes, you get ascended candles depending on how many statues you gave winged lights to (1 statue = 1/4 of an ascended candle, so a full candle every 4 statues)

AC can be used to purchase wing buffs from the spirits which will be added to your cape when you start again, in addition to recollecting the winged lights from the realms. Purchasing the wing buffs is also necessary to be able to access the second half of the spirits' trees if you want to purchase their cosmetics

Honestly? Start to finish for eden I'd allot an hour, especially first time and no guides. It's much easier once you know what's coming later but you want to not rush this first run

And be somewhere you can play sound and with full battery so you can pump up your screen brightness to 100%
