Hmm, in my case, what makes encounters with krills so annoying is that I suddenly have serious framedrops recently. Every krill throughout the world, not only around Eden. In the beginning at least. Potato Android gamer here.

I became a statue but two skykids were way behind me and I couldn't get to the cutscene, and when they finally arrived it seemed like they jumped or something, and I was forced to follow them as a blue light into some kind of Eden oob abyss and could hardly get out of there (I had to wait several minutes for the question whether I would like to continue alone). So is it possible? Or what happened?

I like the current Eden, I just wish the walk wasn't as slow. It makes for new players not being able to make it to the last statue, or even close to it until they get ALL base constellation wing buffs, which by that time, the AC grind is pointless.

The first two krill can be completely skipped with a recharge item like the torch and flying up the pipe. The rocks can be skipped with some well timed flying, only the last krill needs oob to skip.

I usually play the game on mute and I think the biggest advice I could give is to be aware of the visual cues and make mental notes of the timing.. IDK if that makes sense but it's something that comes pretty natural now to me, it takes a lot of practice Now that I think of it, once you get used to it, it's easier to do eden/gw with no sound at all

I’ve figures out you need two-handed mode on for chibi-falling, but it wont let me take the second step forward into the gate. Is there something I’m doing wrong or am i not able to chibi-fall on iPad?

Could chibi fall just fine
When you let go of your right hand you need to move up with your left asap

Sometimes your left hand catches the circle when you release so try maybe to zoom out a little? At least in my experience

It's probably too late for me to tell you this but there is a way to get out of the stormlock if you haven't given your wl to a statue. All you have to do is go home, chibifall through the eden gate at home, once you're in eden just return home and all portals should be open.

keep an eye on the wind, when it slows down there will be a little free slot to run in and seek shelter behind rocks and stuff.. I personally find the last rock stretch is the hardest..

im at the part with the statues, so close! only died at the first zone, then i turned my volume on and it was a little easier

the start of the 2nd area has a lot of safe spots so you can do a slow walk each cycle of rocks

also playing with sounds helps, ye (or look at the sky for the lightning as it also tells when the next rain starts)
