It won’t recharge you faster than the water will sap your energy, but it’s better than nothing.

Yes, the last time I went was Saturday/ Sunday. Or maybe my issue is I keep getting locked out on Saturdays and I end up having to play after I get reset. I never got feedback from devs the first time it happened, but it fixed itself by the next day on Sunday.

I'm not sure, but it is crazy frustrating to get stuck there. I thought you could still give away your winged light if you went through already, just not get ascended candles a second time.

You can!

If you hold the right mouse button your character will lock in place, move around while using the stance w/chibi mask (obviously) and it'll clip you through the spot. You can use a slope upwards or a mound that makes both of your feet nearly go through the ground and when you do, let go of the right mouse-button hold you have. It should work!

Explaining it in text was a little complicated for me, but I hope it helps!!

You can also use the stance from Two Embers for chibi falling I personally find that one more intuitive for it, especially while wearing shoes

If u mean AC, sometimes instead of just falling darkness appearing shards, u can get from 2-4 AC after cleaning and doing task after that, also it can give you 1 wl

Eden is optional! but also part of the story and helps you get even more with ascended spirits, which need Eden Candles (Ascended Candles) to progress spirit trees to fully and permanently unlock that winged light from them - So when you rebirth you start with more than what you have had before!

However! If you are content with the amount you have and don't want to lose more, there are shards that are red. Which we call Red Shard Events! They can give you asended candles AND a single winged light (however they're not permanent as some of us wished they were.) Meaning if you lose a winged light and you had 20 to start with 21 after the Red Shard; When you recollect the winged lights you DID lose, it wouldn't be 21 anymore, it'd be 20

So you'd have to wait again for another Red Shard, if the event ended for it :c WHICH there is a schedule and I can link it here, to show when Red Shards come up and around :D

If we're just talking about normal winged lights? Those are always able to be lost if you get hit by a krill, stay in the rain, dark water, stay under water too long -ect

But they can always be recollected throughout the realms!!

The only wings that stay are wing buffs, purchased from spirits using ascended candles. It takes a while to build up but eventually you can respawn with more wing flaps and increase your overall maximum

The 2nd wing buff is another wing buff yes! It is not necessary for 100% completion of the constellation, but it will be another light to collect after Eden

You can enter whenever you want! If you’re willing to go collect more wl, they will help with getting further in Eden. The only reason not to is because you don’t need them (especially as you accumulate more wing buffs) or just don’t feel like collecting them

if you want to feel more secure going through eden definitely go collect more first, i collect all 160 of mine before going to eden (so 11 wings, this includes buffs from completing eden, currently its 160)

I can say that with the right tactics, you can make it through with 120-130 wings (I've personally tested that)

Especially if you know routes/have a safe way to avoid rock-fall less! ^^ There's multiple maps and videos to help those runs too, for those too! They're very helpful :D

It's best to move as soon as the rocks stop falling. If you're halfway across, try avoiding the red searchlights. Walk around them if you need, it always works

For me it adds another thing to do. Remembering where all the WL is and collecting then with friends add another layer for me.

Also you're building your wing power.
You'll be able to fly longer and higher the more you go to Eden so it's definitely not just for ascended candles.

I also think about the symbolism of life. Before I knew about sky lore, I created my own story. Eden represented going through major challenges that would knock me down but in the end,, makes me stronger. At the end, you hug your shadow self. Then after you're reborn, you collect pieces of yourself (wing light) which can also be considered soul retrieval.
These are spiritual concepts but also can be basic concepts we all deal with in life. So each time I go to Eden, I think about challenges I am facing . You can make up your own story using symbolism. I considered the dragon to be my shadow self at one point as well. The dragon can also be considered the things in life that are uncaring to your challenges. Using symbolism in this game has actually been quite healing for me. The game itself is kind of like inner child work. Cause we have a light inside of us.. what are we doing with that light in us? Are we using it to do things that light our path towards our own passions or are we wasting it?
Sorry for long post but I am also curious if anyone else does this in the game.

Okay so dilemma. I have like 108 AC and I plan to get the mask from Isle, but with the new traveling spirits coming I’m I don’t know if I’ll have enough AC for them.

Should I just buy the mask or wait for the spirits?

Also is buying the torch worth it for Eden?

Make sure to have 2 AC for the spirit arriving Thursday (or run Eden on that Sunday and buy the buff then), but you should be good to get the mask + ts + returning spirits as each spirit costs just 2 and the most we’ve gotten in a group is 6 spirits. If you want the torch I’m not sure if you can get that and the mask before tournament ends.
I’m the wrong person to ask about strategy though, I ran Eden for years solo without a fire prop

I have seen graphical bugs during a single eden run where a statue that I know I have just given light to doesn't look like it, or I have doubled back to try to give light only to find out that I can't. So I think it is inconsistent.

It is supposed to have all statues you lit look different if you return before next reset. However, it isn’t always obvious from a distance, plus possibly what LolLake is talking about (I haven’t experienced it myself)

Hello, I have only done No Point of Return ones, and didn't know I was supposed to give the light to the statues. Now I have around 100 winged lights. How much ascended candles will I get? Is it worth it

the AC you earn depends on how many statues you give wl to. 1 statue gives 0.25 AC, and with 63 statues in PNR you can get a max of 15.75. eden is easily the most efficient way to get AC, considering the shards can be inconsistent and only give 3 AC at most

i will say tho, for your first few eden runs, try not to worry about getting as much as possible. just get what you can, dont stress over it

Is going through point of no return backwards a valid strategy? Like you navigate through to the end without doing any statues when you have the most winged light and then you start doing the statues in reverse order and as you go it gets easier to move around.

The last ones are far in the constant rock rain, you‘ll lose a lot more wings if you try to go there and back again because of the longer way.
If you have a good amount of wing buffs already, you could try doing the last part first, and then after rebirth do the first part without any wl run in between. Depends on the amount of your wings when you go in and your amount of wing buffs

For example, if you have ~70 wing buffs, go to Eden with like 130 wings but aren’t too comfortable getting all in one run. If you don‘t manage to get to the last statue, and you do want to get all of them, you‘d have to do wl run again to get a good amount of wings and go back to save the last statues.
If you do it the other way around, go in with your 130 wings but skip the first 40 statues, you have 40 wings extra available and can make it to the last statues without issues. Then after rebirth, you can immediately go back to Eden with your 70 wing buffs, and get the first 40 statues you skipped before
I used to do Eden runs like that before I managed to regularly get all in one run

The optimal amount is 120 since there're 63 statues and u'll inevitably lose some along the way, and yes u have to collect them again if u wish to return.

U can take ur time with the wl though, it's not mandatory to go to eden, u can go once a month or whenever u want.

I run with 220+ WL and end with about 50, I get 15+ AC at the end and I am reborn with 117 I think.

I remember I did my first Eden run with a friend. I had about 110 wing lights back then, all from the realms. Managed to get 11 AC, mostly thanks to my more experienced friend I think. Bought 11 wing buffs and was reborn with 12 (orbit wing light).

I have done two more runs since then, but always forget to pay attention to how many AC I have before I go, because I expect to see a candle forge animation, but my candle count just gets quietly updated.

Something weird has happened, I just completed Eden after a two week break (I usually do it once a week) and now the Idle of Dawn is showing only 96% completion at the constellation table so I couldn't fix my broken elder mask (which I can only buy with 100% completion). I have had everything at 100% for over a year now, what has happened?
Was there a change in a recent update? When I go back and look at the constellation it is showing that I am missing a trail blessing. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I have all the elder masks, so having one broken isn't a problem, and it is only a 5 candle fix, but still....

I think the light kid does indeed change height depending on your Skykid's height. Not a misinterpretation, if anything there's no right or wrong way to interpret it. That's the beauty of Sky lore

I got lucky and found a gap in all the invisible walls to get back in bounds at the hallway entrance, but I'd want to know if it was a fluke or if I should be practicing a new route before the next run?

i'd count it as confirmed given i've seen a lot of other players reporting that issue when trying to do an OOB route

however, the OOB route the others have mentioned isn't the one i use. and the one i use worked when i helped a couple players reach the WL tunnel before PNR just today

my OOB route is to clip through the lobby of the path of eden and fly counter-clockwise against the clouds surrounding the level. then i approach the tunnel entrance from above on its right side, and land on the broken brick arch. it's important to aim for that point specifically so that you don't end up on the other side of the invisible wall framing the intended pathway to the tunnel.

yeah, recharging doesn't really help in eden if you're just moving fast through

even if you get hit by rocks, there's not that big of a difference between being on full light and without, and being ignited is more valuable than setting up a recharge prop

it means you can help out other players, ignite altars you wouldn't be able to otherwise if you took damage, and lighting yourself through the final sections means that you'll move at full speed as opposed to walking slowly or crawling

plus while the recharge of it is slow, it prevents losing light to the dark water, and it stacks on top of the altars so you recharge faster

Losing all of your wings is part of the narrative, it happens to everyone. You give away the light you collected to save lost souls, until you run out of light and are reborn. And then you can collect light again.

The reward for your sacrifice is a rare currency inside the game called ascended candles. You get one candle for every four statues you saved.

Ascended candles can only be obtained through Eden and Red shard events, and can be used to obtain wing buffs (extra starting wing lights when you are reborn) and spirit items that are locked behind wing buffs.

The message Akky linked explains in detail what constitutes as an exploit - explained by a TGC staff member, at that. Tent memories are an exploit because they teleport you at extreme speeds that are not normally possible and are unfair to those who don't use them (as someone who CRs regularly without using those, I definitely find it unfair myself). That's why it's considered a bannable offense I would also like to know where you heard that? Cuz I distinctly remember TGC staff saying it is an exploit here in this server

That's bordering on misinformation imo. What the message says is they don't dish out bans automatically. They only issue a ban if they've investigated your account and find any evidence of actions that break TOS. What this means is, you're not going to be banned for using those once or twice, especially if on accident, but deliberate continued use would be a violation of TOS and that is grounds for a ban. It is just generally advised not to use them because of that

This way players can get up to 250 winged light, so 13 wing wedges

Things that may work:

• Walk very slowly
• Avoid the spirits completely by going in a big circle around them.

The big bypass loop works great. You can also go through the spirits in reverse - run the ones closest to the portal and head away from it towards the platform where you can trade candles with the spirits. That also worked for me. But the fastest is to just run wide around the spirits and stay out of the center corridor. You still come back with your wings.

A workaround for those crashing while trying to collect the wing buffs in Orbit (Eden)
Try to walk far from the spirits waiting for you on the regular path.
Get close to the Portal that leads to rebirth.
Wait until it fully opens.
Then you have two options: Leave Orbit through the portal.
Or walk very slowly near the spirits to try to get the wing buffs before leaving Orbit through the portal. You will start at the end of the spirits rows and go slowly towards the first ones.

Do you mean that you could not leave Orbit through the portal or just that you could not collect the wing buffs before leaving Orbit? Asking for reference.
I have heard several players being able to leave Orbit through the portal, most of them didn't collect the WB there, a few did collect them by going backwards from the door area.
All the info we can gather, may be helpful to other players dealing with the same situation.

I'm not sure if you are asking for a more detailed explanation or not. But in case you are:

Festival mode makes it so you can see sky kids from all instances of Eden as simplified models (some call these ghosts). Similar to the Aurora concert, or the Duets concert hall. It just makes the area look a lot more colorful and chaotic. I have never been to a community run myself but I assume the TGC staff and their chat messages are visible for all players.
