you can link the sky account on steam to a throwaway gmail for example, then unlink steam from it to link it to your right sky account.
#pc-questions message those steps should help you if you want to try that. after unlinking steam you can delete the account since you wont open the throwaway account anyway

Im having a really hard time being able to tell if its linked now or not. if i click link a nintendo switch account on mobile in sky it sends me to log in and once im logged in it sends me back to sky and thats it no confirmation or anything but it did say connected to a nintendo account. im so confused

Quick question, when I approach a spirit gate (one of the areas you use your candle to open. They require an amount of spirits to pass) There’s usually two requirements. One of the requirements usually is 1/2 spirits but has a gold outline, not a white one. Where do I get the gold outline spirits? (I’m so bad at explaining lmk if u need a picture)

Normally for your first playthrough I'd recommend just following the big indicator you see on your screen when you honk until you finish Eden, then afterwards you can start diving into the live-service part of this game. However, there are currently server issues which can (and are) blocking progression for people. If there's a door that isn't opening, you can always ask in #looking-for-group-live if someone would be kind enough to help you through with glitches. Otherwise you might have to try multiple times or wait for a fix.

On switch, if there's more than 1 account registered in the system, it will ask you to choose a user, essentially a "who's playing", if you are 100% sure your mobile account is linked, choose the user that's linked to the sky account.

As to see which one is linked, your linked accounts show up in Settings>Accounts

The big gate in Eden is problematic for a lot of users, not doors and stuff (including that Eden gate) work for others. It depends on the actual server instance vs connection quality/platform

For example: I was able to activate the disc in the forest temple, my friend wasn't. Some players said they struggled with Eden gate and then someone came who opened it.

Hi all! I am having some trouble with the map. For a long time already the map tells me that there is a WL in Isle of Dawn starting area, but as far as I know there are only 5 and I got them all. I figured it's probably just a bug.

But today I lost a WL, and when I look on the map it doesn't show anything (except for that one in Isle, but it's not there)
So I guess 2 questions:

• is there something wrong with the map or am I missing something?

Not too far, only about 5-10 steps, but it was enough that both the spirit and all the rocks were fully in frame with some room to spare

Eden has 10 wl that do show up on the map. Red shards have 6 wl (one in each memory) that do not show up. And there‘s one orbit wing that also doesnt show up, and you can only recollect it by doing Eden/rebirth again (really bad luck if you lost exactly that one)

With the last race wing I meant the last wing in both valley races, just before the coliseum

It’s up to luck it seems. Lots of people can’t have the door open, but some people have been able to open it. I’d try leaving and reentering Eden after a minute to switch servers and pray that you get lucky. It may take a while though

It's your connection. It's ok for basic online activities but struggles keeping up with Sky. On the top of that, servers are not the strongest either today (see #known-issues ), but especially during these hours servers are pretty good. Restart your router or try on a different connection.

You gotta log in on mobile! Log into your switch account on mobile, link a different email account (something disposable), log out. Then sign in on mobile again, this time on the throwaway account, and then unlink Nintendo from there

That’s with a few specific capes where the symbols on the back are squished. It’s usually with capes that have a more unusual shape like the snowflake cape

When you spawn into the other area (Aviary), immediately turn to your left and look for a meditation circle. That will take you back! However this circle is only unlocked after progressing Hopeful Steward’s questline a bit (the child you meet in the tutorial)
