The contrast between being able to basically walk through the first part of the red rock area and then suddenly crawling is too stark. A new player will be fooled into thinking Eden is difficult, but not undoable. An older player will just be frustrated.
It truly doesn't add any emotional aspect for players who do Eden regularly.

i like the current eden It is slightly slow in the end but It makes me emotional once my skykid died and ascend to orbit, because after the suffering and the feeling of helplessness, i was left in awe of how beautiful and contrasting it is from eden. Hello everyone, I can't bind my STAR pin to my BETA account. Was it true that we can bind either on live OR beta? Because in the skyshop official website it says we can bind all 3 servers (live, beta, netease)

it's been a bug ever since 2020, you can't bind new pins to beta - I haven't tested the live OR beta thing as I don't want my pins to get stranded on beta only
all my pins which are bound to live don't work in beta

Yeah, but I wasn't around to witness those seasons nor was I here to see the beta testing for Rhytm and Sanctuary, but generally speaking from the many feedbacks and complaints I've heard about this season, I just don't think it will generate as many sales once people find out the new mechanic and do the quests. I know the main selling point is the cosmetics, but if someone is on the fence more about what the season brings as their contributing factor to whether they'll be buying it or not, they may skip out on it.

Although there's always that one player who will also just spend their life savings regardless of what the season offers and its mechanics.

Has anyone found a WL in the Final Memory? I spent multiple antigravs and my last bonfire spell looking, and I managed to get to the top of ||the shattering crystal||, but I couldn't quite reach ||the King or the rocks above him|| to look there.

Eeeyup. This Season feels like they had something REALLY ambitious planned, but they just split it in half, gave us the first quest, and cut/pasted it six times.

That said, my requests for narrative and/or lore are officially satisfied. The season is not very well paced, but after doing the final quest I finally understand why it's a season.

Like the actual cutscene is just slow panning shots of the memory room, so its not like anything crazy, but the dialogue at the bottom talks about how the creatures of sky came to be. usually each season has at least one aspect that feels lacking in execution (memory candles + the iaps from performance, treasure reef from abyss, the quests from flight, the iaps/cosmetics + quests from lpp, etc. etc.) but with this season everything just feels a bit half baked - not to mention the sweeping changes to core gameplay that feel quite out of touch

Now, I will say I don't think we've seen the end of the Season yet. My theory is that there is in fact only one memory, and every "area" we've seen up to this point is just one piece if it: the true "season area" will contain all of the images and pseudo-spirits, and their associated WL, in a single cohesive space. Among other things this will make the later areas a whole lot easier to navigate, because you'll be able to use the lower sculptures to climb up to higher ones.

But that's just speculation on my part.

I don't think it's different. I think it's been implemented this way all along -one space they show and hide different parts of depending on what quests you've done- and this is why we can't go back to earlier memories. They haven't got switching parts out from just a choice in the tree working yet, and if my theory is right they don't actually have to, because it'll all be in the last area anyway.

Technically it is Ark as the first proper seasonal area, those that were added in Belonging felt more like additional side-areas

Forgotten Ark was the first area that was introduced specifically to serve as a hub for the season with the Enchantment guide there. Other areas were added to the game during previous updates, but those areas didn't really add much to the season beyond being the location for some of the seasonal spirits. Some of the cutscenes for Belonging took place where the table is in the elevated clearing, but that was about it

they basically revamped one of the old light awaits eden features which wouldn't be a problem, but it wasn't presented greatly, wasn't built up from piece to piece at all. i was very confused by the previous quests/memories, they didn't really make sense as in why is it good for us to do them? then the last quest finally gave us something lorewise but it was a bit of a lackluster, i knew one final quest wouldn't be able to save the entirety of the season and i was somewhat right.

well i’ve said on previous occasions, focusing on just one or two issues as TGC is doing currently (eden difficulty and lack of lore) isn’t going to save the season. All or most of the problems would have to be changed, from crawling to the lack of an actual area to lack of variety in quests. The new changes make it a little more bearable, yes, but it’s kinda like putting a little flimsy plaster on a huge cut. They tried, but that attempt really didn’t do a whole lot. Realistically, i don’t believe they have time to fix the season properly, but if they were able to delay it a bit there could be time to fix things and make it really good!!! I’m not one to talk as i haven’t been on beta since yesterday because of school, but the last memory kinda does look a bit lacklustre and weird because none of the other memories provide us with buildup to it. Anyways, yeah i do think the season can be saved but there would likely have to be delays to fix things.

How to fix the season:
Make it in eden, make crawing and add a rolling mechanic to "dash crawl"

Make these two key elements with movement on eden areas similar to trials. Thats where we meet the spirits with their own stories, you get to see lore between the areas but isint as important.

In the end you get to see the eden king and do stuff before being banished at the start. And in every trials you get 1 ac everyday. Make shattering itself a mini event while the seasons active.

Knowing the time constraints and the lack of team due to the collab season, this is just a dream :')

I always categorise it as confusing because there is not much info in the beginning, during the season, and even the disappointment I feel on the last quest. This particular theory depends on the Tom Zhao timeline, but I think this could be depicting ||the final confrontation between the Creatures and the King, where the Elders trapped him in the Storm||. But this still puts an interesting spin on that concept if that's the case, because ||when you assemble the memories into a single scene, it looks like the dark creatures may actually be fighting alongside the light creatures, rather than against them||. If I'm right about this, then it throws a major twist into the overarching plot, even in the context of the Tom Zhao stuff: ||if light and darkness worked together against the King, then what exactly had he become?||

Also, has anyone else experienced the glitch where when they relive the spirit memories or the temple elder cutscenes (the normal-game ones, not the shard memories), the cutscenes are glitchy? Like, confident sightseer ( ) had this weird issue for me where their child spontaneously disappeared out of existence and they weren't standing off the ground but were standing in midair a small ways off of the cliff, and nod spirit from yesterday was standing inside the wall of the Forgotten Ark when I watched their memory cutscene. And I knew that the Valley elders cutscene is glitched with chibi mask but it seems like a lot of them are having animation spacing issues. Anyone else experienced this?

I mean I know that like, sane reasonable people start skipping the cutscenes after seeing them 20 times, but...

I feel like at the moment, the assembly shared space is the best. It's a little cave like structure, and there's even a place to put stuff on the wall (The lil 3 holes with stands) in which we could put the flower pots, currently I put the fire light.

I do have to mention how I tried adding the spotlights and everytime I saved and loaded it, they would move up for no reason, until at some point they would just disappear.

This is personal speculation, but perhaps the king was trying to make both light and darkness his own and become a new god that transcended Megabird.
Maybe that is why he prepared that huge dark stone in Eden, or maybe he had his researchers study the huge dark creatures and mass produce light batteries made from the light creatures in his Treasure Reef laboratory and factory.
And maybe his obsession to dominate nature turned him against both the light creatures and the dark creatures.

That particular scene does not exist anymore, but last year my friend and I went behind the big diamond using the flying oob route and landing at the “back door” of Eden.
It was an awesome experience, but once there, we started loosing wings fast, even though we couldn’t see rock rain 😅.

I went back not so long ago, sadly it’s no longer the same. Beautiful landscape though.

When that OOB existed, eden still had the old layout where you could survive and cross the final gate (oob was just behind the gate). iirc once they updated it to the more open version we have now with the massive crystal at the end, it was gone

It was also only added for a very brief period of time between updates to eden. I wouldnt be able to say exactly which update added it, but it was gone within a week after I visited it.

I don't know if this makes sense or if someone talked about it before but let's say that: Eden was a kingdom or the center where all the elders stayed, all the Elders including Eden were "brothers". Eden didn't want to be like his brothers, they all had the same purpose but Eden wanted more, he wanted power and was ambitious so before he was acting discreetly, creating the crabs and krills to hope terror for the kingdoms of sky, his brothers found out about his betrayal and he rebelled against his brothers (and I don't know how could he have become more powerful) in the last memory we kind of see the Elders falling, as if Eden had expelled them and now they all try to protect the other realms of their evil brother

Have you tried to burn all of the darkness after getting the meditation cutscene? There's a bigger chance of the quest being registered as completed if you try this method. This problem should have been resolved in this patch

Depends on whether you're a cosmetics collector or not. If you're looking to get the ultimate capes, you'll need an AP. If you're in it for the season's gameplay/experience alone, you might not want to buy the AP. You can just play the season without AP if you aren't keen on getting the ultimate rewards (manta/krill capes).

Yeah I only buy the adventure pass if I like the ultimate gift a lot, I don’t need every cosmetic in the game and I enjoy waiting for traveling spirits sometimes, lots of hype and excitement. I’ll probably skip this season because even though king manta cape is cool, the large slit on it bothers me a little bit and I’m not into the krill cape design

I feel like I'll regret not getting the krill cape and other cosmetics, y'know? I also think getting the pass will help with Seasonal Candle collecting (if you end up not wanting some of the other cosmetics) and if you save up every day for a while, the load of seasonal candles you save up will be converted to normal candles at the end of the season, which you can spend on travelling spirits with cosmetics more to your liking!

So basically, what's happening in the last quest is that it's an ancient memory where Isle, Praire, Valley, Wasteland and Vault elder are fighting(?) the crystal while Forest mama is having a tea in the treehouse.
