Since the season starts in like 10 hours, I think it's probably safe to say that whatever designs we've most recently seen in beta are the final designs. It's possible they could make tweaks to them in the future for things like clipping or glitchiness, but I don't think they would completely change the look of any of the seasonal cosmetics at this point

Hi Everyone. Still not able to get an update in Google market for build 182692.
The app doesnt annouce about update as well. What could be the problem? I faced the same in Sky live version, but the solution is to unistall the game and then install it again.
With Beta i'm not sure it will work. If i unistall it, I will not be able to downloaded it back from google market.
Please advise if anyone faced the same issue

i nearly drowned while trying to not get caught by krill

two creatures got removed one being the turtle with corals 🐢 and the diamond shaped sky

there was only one turtle 🐢 swimming in the starting area (correct me if im wrong) its basically just a simple turtle with corals on its shell, it was an uncolored mesh/model just like most of the new creatures at the time
it had an unique swimming animation due to its distinctive anatomy, but the animation was pretty choppy, it flapped its arms like its trying to fly rather than swim
why was it removed? it was a placeholder/scrapped asset to help visualize unfinished ideas e.g. a creature swimming in the ocean

now the fish... it was extremely cute (to me)
there was several (maybe just two) schools of it circling the manta cages/chambers
unlike the emoji the fish was actually diamond shaped, with one(or two?) large yellow eye that blinks (!!!) and came fully textured while most creatures weren't
it has a static swimming animation, but when you approach it, they will recharge your oxygen and light, blink and spin around wildly which was honestly the best part cause it was just that cute
why was it removed? literally no idea, but could have been an old scrapped asset just like the turtle

technically there is another tuna-like fish, but i suspect its just an early design concept to test out stuff just like the turtle, with both being minimal in design complexity and animation

basically this tuna-like fish evolved to the current knife shaped fish, replacing its role as the common school of fish in the area
the knife fish is more detailed, its AI pathing is better, its school is neatly kept tightly, the swimming animation is better although its predecessor would occasionally dive out the water which is pretty cool, idk if the knife fish does that but i haven't seen it

the starfish was a background prop and not an actual creature, part of the short lived seaweed n corals update removed for being too unsky

I think the turtle didn’t go well with Sky worldbuilding, since there are creatures there unlike those on earth. However, there are birds and butterflies that are pretty similar to earth counterparts. I think our love for the turtle outweighs the need to stay consistent with the theme of Sky. Besides, the turtle can remind us about how ocean life is vulnerable to pollution and that we need to cherish them

I have no idea how a turtle can't fit in Sky. We have dog, shrimp, regular birds and fishes, mantas (which are stingrays). The polluted geyser and sanctuary meditation quest is all about ocean vulnerability.

I don't think you understand what I wrote. The quest giver previously had 4 items that each cost 1 heart: 2 masks, a cape and the tassels. One mask was removed, but if you bought that o ne you will be short one heart. So you can't buy the second mask.

Well yes, it will. I'm not questioning that portion of it. That reply seems to imply currency won't be wiped until a good bit after this test cycle. I was mainly implying "some odd error" or bug, if you will, that might cause an early conversion. Since we haven't even touched the 5th quest yet, we shouldn't really worry about the season "ending" any time soon™ normally.

Kotoeri, you just restart the client and the conversion would be finished. It's just visual, the conversion is instant. (At least that's how most games are coded for things that have an extended animation)

That said, in the event the quest becomes available before a new build i recommend NOT doing the quest until that new build is available. You'll either miss out the content or, more likely the case, encounter bugs and/or crashes.

I don't see any specifics in your post. Did you scan while beta wasn't on your phone to see if you still get a detection? The current build of beta on the Play Store is perfectly fine. If you're getting a true malware hit on the app, another source infected it.

That's not really a beta question? Are you actually in beta? If you are, I would highly suggest playing live first. Beta is meant to be for the 'experienced' players I guess, who know how everything works, thus noticing any bugs or weird behaviour that they can buy report, which is what beta for. Beta is for bug testing, not for an experience of the game (which it won't even fully provide because beta is 10x buggier than live, and new content is often unfinished in beta before it comes to live finished)

But no, permanent resize can't make you chibi. It can get really close, where you'll chibi run- But never small enough to chibi fall

I don't think we're going to get a beta update before the reset, it's the weekend so TGC is not working as much right now (or at all). That's why Ktjn posted here and they sent out an inbox message advising people not to try to complete the 5th quest until the update comes out at a later time. This means devs need to send the next update package for review even before a fix is found because Nintendo has long app review periods and very long update cycles. This can mean 7 weeks or more delay after a bug is fixed (and add additional unknown time spent between getting enough data from a bug type from reports and fixing it...) So what we see in live is a result of many weeks delay from beta in terms of bugs. Some bugs need more time to fix, some were fixed in a year or so.

You don't lose your items in beta unless there is a progress wipe, which hasn't happened since June 2019.

There is no practical reason to delete people's cosmetics at the moment.

Switch testing was on a separate server so it's difficult for us to find out what happened when it was in beta. But I don't think that's a question we can really answer anyways (unless I misinterpreted). That's more of a dev question, and even then they might not be allowed to answer

Adding to this I doubt it's devs decision rather leadership's at TGC finding ways to reach more people counting so many factors we players can't even think of.
