Sorry for the late reply, but as someone who plays switch in live, but Android with controller in beta, swimming is actually not too bad for me (I expect it'll translate similarly to joycons as other features have). Some wonkiness, but controller makes it fairly simple. Though I acknowledge that this might not be the case for everyone

I found a way to get down to the bottom of the water really fast and I saw something really cool 0-0 if you hold the call button it will make you sink down much farther!!!

BETA is NOT a replacement for live and at any time, your account and collectibles on the account, may be reset. You play beta knowing this risk.

A couple weeks ago we had a candle forging glitch and everyone’s candles were reset to 200. Some people had over a 1000 after legitimately farming but they lost a lot of those candles

because testers are supposed to play the game as intended to prevent unusual bugs from appearing in live. if we were just given the candles, TGC wouldn't find out til live release if something unintended is happening (as a simple example: seasonal candle nodes not giving any wax)

That’s just part of the testing procedure. For instance, when there was a huge change to the currency system before global launch, players were reset to moth status and they couldn’t keep any of their gratitude cosmetics or friends.

These things will keep happening, it’s just important to not get too attached to your account — because you don’t really own anything in it. It is a testing ground. Concentrate those resources for live.

If everyone got the candles without collecting them through normal gameplay, we wouldn't be out there collecting candles and testing. There have been plenty of times candles were missing from a realm due to bugs... Imagine if they were missing in live due to lack of testing.

Indeed I have! I run into the krill down there on accident once I saw a pretty blue light and swam towards it where have my survival instincts gone
The next time I dove, I discovered a little pillar of bubbles that recharge my breath on around the same level as the jellyfish (which if you go down the tall tower containing 2 krill you reach the jellyfish, which are actually normal jellyfish, the barrier makes them look dark from the outside)
A couple dives later I was pondering how to get past the krill guarding the way to the depths, when a stranger accadently offered themself as bait and I took my window
If you keep swiming real deep, you will need the rebreather mask to make it that deep, those 5 extra seconds are precious, you will fine a square of breath-bubbles down in the dark. I dont know why they're there

No, what I mean is that there's a bug that causes a LOT of seasonal candles to be gained. It can happen by doing almost anything, from candle running to reviving a spirit... Just play and see what happens

But note: once the devs fix the bug, all season candles will be reset to 0

It was briefly available in the beta IAP store a while back (back when we had a Switch beta as well), but it's no longer available for mobile testers to get (and the Switch beta isn't running anymore). They added the spell version of the ultimate mask like what they did for the bornefire. I think it is a fine balance for future players who didn't experience season of Abyss, that they can use the spell version of it.

They also added the ts umbrella to the spell shop, so I guess those functional items would be for everyone by this way.

Hmm , but using spell everytime, something that also has a time limit? I would say an extra basic mask would be better just like a basic umbrella. Bonfire is cool , but indirectly it's unique feature came back in the form of torch, which is not an ult, and anyone can use it , and will also come as a ts . And also as far as i remember bon fire spell is a bit expensive. Also I think a basic mask , can help those who cant afford an ap either , in future or in present

Yes it costs ascended candle, so do the two spells I mentioned. The bornefire was the only item that could recover energy for about a year until days of feast 2020, that we had the feast table. Almost another year had come the season of Assembly brought the torch. I guess we will have more items for underwater in the future like now we have a lot of items that can recover energy.

I agree completely! I feel like the 30 minutes of breathing for the potion is a good amount of time for 10 AC potion. Especially if the rebreather mask is extended to indefinite oxygen underwater. I hope we get infinite time because worrying about oxygen and getting krilled gives me a lot of anxiety. I want to explore without having to worry about oxygen after I complete the season and get the ult. It seems fair for all our work during the season

For me the biggest problem so far was the constant rush of exploration. There's barely any time to analyze your surroundings and not suffocate, so enjoying the beautiful scenery is out of the question. The abyss so far for me has been nothing but a speedy siloutes

Unfortunately for us and possibly many other players, a bug occurred that caused many players to receive over 1,000+ seasonal candles when they accepted the seasonal pass. I also missed out. I had to ask a beta friends the same question( which I asked on here with NO response😢) for now we have to grind the tasks and get a seasonal candle from the gifting shrine. We only get 5 total each day until TGC fixes it. More than likely it will be fixed before Dec 1 because of the holiday weekend in the United States.
