Apart from allowing them to follow their dreams A big issue with the old version of the questgiver spirit was that the UI was confusing for a lot of players—for example, having two icons for the same spirit, one for daily quests and one for seasonal quests. It wasn't necessarily the clearest setup for folks, especially considering that some Sky kids haven't played a ton of video games before

I don't know much about coding, I gave up 6 months in after attempting to learn php.

Bugs aren't that easy and obvious to fix or to even pinpoint. When the code is complex it is hard to identify what is causing an issue and sometimes when a fix is obvious, using it creates 10 new bugs.
You can't just scrap it and rewrite the whole code.

I understand some folks are upset but saying things like "hire me to do your job" isn't the nicest thing to say to someone

Beta isn't paid and it takes time.

Different people have different motivation to play beta, but no matter what remember this

Your time is a valuable resource, don't waste it on negative energy.

Some does. Some don’t. It’s not consistent. The backpack logo is looking like a perm assembly logo. Which will be addressed (fingers crossed) soon.

From memory, it's the props that originally came from the actual Assembly Spirits during earlier beta testing that have unique/non-bag appearances. Shelf, hoop, tent, spotlight, torch and hammock were all originally assigned to a spirit each, before some of them were moved to the Assembly QG's tree.

I believe they were also changed to the Assembly backpack during testing (since a few of their initial back appearances were just unfinished shrunken versions of their full sizes), before they were changed back into what they are now (not sure if that was due to feedback or if that was always the plan). The things that became the first actual backpack items in live were the smaller items you could buy from the QG tree (a cushion and a firepot, from memory?)

Tweaks were made because it was ugly. That’s as far as my memory goes. Doesn’t mean it’s any prettier but I agree with mayhaps having a diff season logo. That might be more pleasing to the eyes.

To be quite honest there's no way to avoid that. Stuff like that happen outside of games as well. It's unfortunate to think about but best thing you can do is watch out for it, and report it when it happens. Hey folks, quick question—I saw a couple posts in the beta feedback channel about visiting elders OOB not being possible because of new reset boundaries. Could someone explain this a bit more? For example, at what step in the process to get to them is it no longer possible?

We know that there are some OOB that are really important to players, so I want to make sure I understand this before sharing it with the rest of the team.
(Full disclosure: I have done these visits myself but usually mooched off of a friend doing the work to bring us there so breaking down the steps would be helpful)

That's my understanding based on what I've read

To visit isle Prairie and forest elder, We would usually
• go to the last temple of the map, ask a friend to sit and meditate watching elder cutscene. and then they must minimize Sky app (close the game for some seconds and keep the game running in the background)
• when their eye warp icon showed in the distance, we'll warp to them.
These three elders has no problem because the room is outside reset barrier and accessible with the help of friend.

Valley elder is Accessible with flying only or use this warp method.

Vault is different method, but accessible without problem because no reset wall

Ob the other hand, wasteland elder is a bit unique, because he is above a reset barrier,
So we would usually do extra step:
• ask a friend to wait in the temple
• we go home and enter other map
• Teleport back to said friend
• ask friend to do sit and minimize
• when a warp icon showed in the distance, warp
• then fly to the very top of the temple (with the help of recharging item)
• try to chibi fall inside the giant statue and fly again to the top, there will be the elder

But the reset wall is hindering us to visit him now
It will simply teleport us back to the map we came before teleport to our friend.
Usually the whiteout reset will disappear if we came from other map

For Player A who goes into another map, and then teleports to Friend B who is still waiting in the Wasteland temple:

Have you tried getting A to go Home after teleporting to B (before visiting the elder), and then seeing if A’s return shrine will put him back in the “other map” or in Wasteland temple? Because that trick you’re using relies on the return shrine pointing to a different region than the area you want to remove the reset barriers from (I.e. if your return shrine checkpoint is now being updated as soon as you go to wasteland temple, that would completely block your method)

Oh yes it Teleport back to wasteland temple now. I was referring to other methods i was using with no internet.
There is another method we were usually using, turning off internet before entering other area/map, and it will Teleport us back to where we came from, usually the whiteout will disappear

Wasteland only because he is above the reset barrier
Forest is surrounded by reset barrier but it can be bypassed with warp, so as long as we don't fly to this reset, we are safe in forest elder bubble
Same with prairie elder

Actually there were two wasteland elder. One is famous with the name "uncle heels" and we don't need to remove reset barrier to see him.
We only need to meditate together with our friend, but we skip all scenes and our friend minimize the app as long as they can and we warp to them after we finish meditate.
The wasteland elder we couldn't see would be the warrior one where he pose like jumping with spear on his hand. This is the coolest one

Just in case this is relevant: the old Wasteland Elder cutscene OOB in the Battlefield has a similarly shaped reset wall to what Minestrone was describing of the current one used in the Wasteland temple

But usually, solo explorers can visit prairie elder easy without internet. Now we could not do it solo anymore..
Methods we're using for solo prairie elder visit:
Before entering prairie elder, turn off internet.
Wait until a message pops up and enter temple.
Fly outside temple and pass the clouds.
Usually we will pass a reset near the clouds. Now it is putting us back outside temple

Vault , Valley and Isle worked fine yesterday when i went with a stranger just for fun and i checked forest and prairie just now. They were ok too, at least nothing screamed different than before

I believe it might still be possible with two players and a table, albeit a bit slow: have you tried table driving down there along the sides of the walls? It moves slower than it used to, but I think you could work your way down there provided the floaty barrier isn't a solid object the table sticks to

There's a possible method solo... But you'll end up in the pray spirit chamber.... You need a chibi mask tho..
Enter the 4player door at second floor..once you're inside the room, chibi fall on a slope on the left side of the room.
You'll see a very big space and a big gap to fall into the first floor.
Since it is behind the sparkles, you can fall here safely and not floating

Additional info, idk if it is helpful.. warping to friend into elder room, some device wouldn't port players into the elder room, they would appear just sitting in meditation circle when minimising sky app

Some device is very easy to move to elder cutscene. Their warp icon will appear shortly in the far room after they minimize game app.
In case the test team having hard time warping....

Its somewhat area dependent too. From my experience if i meditated with my android device my character almost always pulled others into elders room. If i did it playing on my ios, prairie and isle was basically the same but forest usually required several tries.

Unsure if this has been said but:
I havent been to the prairie elder oob in an age, and never tried in beta because I never had enough flight power and just never thought of doing it plus it required a friend or two I could organise it with outside of sky, and only two friends of mine have beta, but hardly ever play (if I want to play with them I usually just go on live) but, back on track, this is the method I used to visit prairie elder, and it involves a little flying:

• both go to the prairie temple
• one person goes home
• run into realm as soon as you can (I believe any realm but prairie works to break the reset barriers, but I always used valley )
• go home as soon as the realm loads
• teleport back to friend in prairie temple
• friend who left temple goes up towards the exit to forest, noting you have to go a certain way and cant pass a certain point or for some reason the reset barrier activates again)
• once on top of the temple, player goes to their right (the right side of the temple as in if you had just entered the temple)
  -> other friend can follow you up or warp up if they like, but they have to wait on top of the temple as you do the next step
• after heading to the right of the temple, player jumps off and flys along the clouds until they reach the edge of the clouds. From there a small chunk of cloud separate from the rest can be seen. This is the prairie elder 'room'
  -> once around the corner of the cloud friend can warp, as their reset barrier is still active, but past the corner there is no reset barrier so they are safe
• keep flying to the elder 'room'and land wherever desired within the 'room'. Now you can look around

As stated I havent done this oob on quite a while, so I'm unsure if it even still works in live. The breaking of the barriers wasnt even deliberate the first time, and the elder room wasnt even what I was looking for
I was following a YouTube video on how to see a different version of the temple and ended up exploring my new-found lack of reset barriers when I stumbled upon the prairie elder.
But yes, that's how I get to the prairie elder, hope it somewhat helps

i just read about the backpack issue. and i would like to throw in opinion about it. since shared space first out during assembly season, it made sense if the porp for it is packaged in assembly symbol.
many peiple also use this opportunity to make guessing games. i don't think it's boring, and I'm okay with it.
i saw other people with same opinion getting called as "Dora people" , "you will be snipe"
but no one says anything about enchantment symbol in spooky area because spells shop were originally from enchanted season

i think the game developers are doing good job making fun props. keep doing amazing and i love sky game!
