After daily light was implemented, the old idea of a full CR went away because we started adding more light than can be collected in a 24 hour period. but a lot of people still cling to what that was, so it's a bit hard to challenge preconceived notions, when adding these new installations.

and the hotspring in particular, we added that ugly mess of candles up there as a placeholder until we could add more social light locations. yes, you read that right, those were a placeholder for nearly a YEAR.

it takes time to develop new systems and features, and get the tech working the way we want it because we build it all from scratch.

I think people would still end up choosing candle running because you earn significantly less candles for a longeramount of time near the hangout areas. And traveling spirit prices for the most part will remain unchanged. I can see the hangout areas as being good for those who casually want to talk to others after a candle run, but I don’t see it replacing candle running :(

we can't stop people who want to min/max candle farming, and we don't try to. less than .01% of the sky playerbase engages in that kind of farming. what we do is give people the option to be less efficient and still feel like their time in game was "worth it"

That's great! I can't speak for others, but I know I don't need to hit the max candle amount per day unless there's something I really want. But even on a quiet week it feels like having to choose between unlocking friendship trees and saving for ts cosmetics, so having enough candles for a hug after goofing around for an hour with someone in a social space seems like the perfect direction

My only wish on that subject is to reconcile my love of Sky and the time to have a real life outside of it. Truly “idle” collection spot (limited wax for obvious reasons) permitted that, and it was a tremendous relief.

That's fairly subjective, since 15 minutes of a realm would imply different amounts of progress and completion for different players based on their preferences and playstyles

Do you mean like a hand animation? You might be seeing the new player tutorial - unfortunately with your first playthrough (both in beta and in live) you'll have to do as the animation directs in order to get it to go away. If it doesn't go away, that's bug report territory.

If it isn't the tutorial, or if it is but it isn't allowing you to proceed, that's something that again will prolly require a bug report

It might be worth getting your phone checked out by a repair centre then, see if they can give some insight. It could be something that the phone itself cannot detect. Or if you have insurance on your phone (depending on the level), there might be a help line you can call for assistance

It wouldn't hurt to submit a bug report was well, just in case there is something on the software side. Even if there is no video, any info could help tgc to investigate on their end

As long as the devices have google play store on there devices, and actually allowed in there country to use google services, then after applying to beta through link and then after approved and users see that there is option to install with play store, and got the beta through that way are legit, and any other users using playstore or beta via others ways were and are not allowed as much as I understood whole situations.

There is a limit for each space. I hit my limit of igloo wax at home and then went to the Prairie cave collection site and got more wax there. I later went to geyser and got wax. 😁

@cosmic orchid please don't discuss or encourage the use of APKs. Downloading illegitimate copies of the game is against the Terms of Service and could contain malware. Trying to use APKs will result in download problems and may result in account data loss and inability to contact TGC support. APKs cannot be used to bypass the device incompatibility.

Tbh now that we know that old items (last days of feast) are coming back, i'm thinking, does this mean that we will only have static set of events that will keep reccuring? Because the game is relatively new. Does this mean that at some point there will be 10th days of feast which will have like 10 spirits each with last year items? And does this mean we will not be getting new events? Cuz there will be always days of summer, days of mischief, days of feast, days of something else which we had before
