When I see people dancing or not afk but won’t help burn then sometimes I stop burning 😂 and after a minute or so, they realize no one is burning then someone will flock to burn. I’m okay with people afk totally cuz it means they are busy. But people chatting and not help at all are the ones I dislike. And I often stop burning if I see those.

Either we have to wait a very long time between each quests, or there's a lot of time remaining after the final quest, meaning they've balanced the prices in such a way that we need to grind during these final days (ie. very expensive in relation to the season length)

I think in relation to Geyser its kind of flawed by design because the urchins need to be burnt, which at the end of the day defeats the point of it being a fixture to socialize and get wax and just makes people frustrated when others just hang out and chill.

I think a better way to do it would be to have just. Wax come out or something so its ok to just be afk or chill with friends?? Its way past release now but… yeah

Yeah, we normally don't experience the end cutscenes in Beta. Before we were able to experience past seasonal cutscenes, we just had to wait to experience it in live if we completed the last quest before it was added after the season's release.

Yup, and in some cases we get the cutscene or quest after the season itself ends in beta. This happened during enchantment. Some testers might be able to experience the completed season if they wait to do the quests, but I'd expect only a few testers choose to do this

They have meditation circles like assembly quests. I tested that replay and it worked fine. Didn't test reliving cutscenes. (oops)

No, it's a bug where the darkness pumpkins could still be lit, even though they're not there since the event ended, but still summons the event spirit.

usually when a season is finished with testing pretty much it is polished to TGC, time to work on other things

im talking about the big ones like glitches that happened, such as the dreams boat audio at the skilift slopes, or the plants at sanctuary vanishing, or with dreams again with spirits not appearing
there were some during assembly but i believe it was just cosmetic problems

i know there's often nothing the devs can do about it, but it does suck to hear "oh yeah that problem was in beta too" after i begin to experience it in live

things like that is why more time is better
and why i feel scared some features will be bugged, or (something that again is far too ate to change) the gameplay and story will be underwhelming

a big problem i know will probably happen, especially since we've been seeing a violent increase in server stress, is extreme server problems, which in turn create even more bugs such as what happened at the beginning of TLP

no amount of stress testing can prepare us very well for the sheer amount of live players lmao

and worse yet, switch players cant even get close to testing larger scale.......

That's normal for live, because it takes an app update for them to actually swap out the prince with a spirit. Once we went to one of the 0.15.0 builds on beta, he looked different whenever anyone does a quest where he's seen

I mean little prince just ended, so they need a season within 2-3 weeks since that's how it's always been. I don't think it's that deep, just TGC trying to be on schedule. I doubt they want to stay ahead of leaks. TS were leaked ages ago, which weren't even leaks, just a smart guess. Trying to stay ahead of leaks would mess up their schedule or whatever it is that they're following

I didn't mind the Prince quests, I did kind of feel like some of them were a bit long though. But I guess that was because of them telling the story which required more dialogue scenes. Usually the Sky stories are more vague than that.

I do like that the Flight quests can be done on your own though, instead of having to wait for other people to help you. Of course you can still do them with friends if you want to, but it's nice to have options

Sanctuary was highly criticized initially bc of “breaking game aesthetics” but later on everyone loved it

i was a moff in sanctuary and wasnt in discord yet so i dont really see what caused the criticism, cosmetics are sky creature inspired, all share the diamond pattern and as for lore , of course spirits have vacations, they were humanoids after all, the contribution to lore might not be as big as prophecy per say but still is good

and about the style guide i think you guys noticed already there are lots of triangles everywhere, from the shrines and pipes to capes and masks

I know TGC will never bring back ult as gift. But a video stating beta testers getting a past ult will create wrong hope for live players if the video doesn’t have those words: this is for testing purposes only. It's a real bug hunt in the backend to try to find the similarities and the causes with it. In fact I'm more enthusiastic about the process then the item. This is how I like beta. We realised beta testers mostly have 4847463 spells, 4762525 emotes and 46362 capes and costumes. To preserve the in game UI from breaking we will wipe all progress so far. You will get a candle pack in your inbox to get started after the wipe out! 😁😁

yes, you'll eventually be removed from testers on ios if you're considered "inactive", we don't know the cutoff for inactivity

We became Permanent Tester in Android

I did remember testing this mmorpg game back in i don't know 2010/2011 ? And until now i still became their Beta Tester even after i'm gone hiatus for more than 3 year
