The only time something was not as easy as everything else was when I needed to relive spirit memories that were mid air

But it didn't take longer than a minute so it's not that big of a deal.

Moffs aren't supposed to be allowed in the new area unless they have completed vault for the first time which I believe gives enough experience for an area like this

Jumping between seasonal areas - the fastest to use wind paths. But if you are starting from home they may not make much difference...

May be CR your normal route avoiding the seasonal areas. Then use wind paths to exclusively get the candle cakes alone from seasonal areas? 🤔 In which case use wind path to get 2 candle cakes there, then use the wind stream to get to prophecy, sanctuary, LP area and hermit Valley. Other areas will have no candle cakes or make you fly a lot for less candle light. Light/minute matters if you wanna save time yet get max candles for your time

So currently all the spirit trees end with an item, which means non ap players cant really skip much days. Iirc in Little Prince one of the trees ended with a spell for 20 something candles which was skippable and gave a little more freedom for non AP players.
Ignis i used to spend those extra on friends back when i started since after conversions i didn’t have to worry about getting enough for ts.

If we round the length of a season to 10 weeks, then it implies about an extra 10 candles a week, or around 1.4 extra candles per day being earnt. It sounds small, but it makes sense if we consider that the daily light system aims to limit us to a maximum of around 20 candles per day (i.e. an extra 1.4 candles on top of that 20, daily, becomes more significant)

Litteraly the second we enter we see a star, that's telling us not to skip this island because it is important. Then there's wax right around it. So we keep exploring in hopes of finding more and boom, we found our first spirit

This is a perfect example of a guiding star. (another one is the wasteland star in the first area)

You need some flaps to get around easily - here's the place for the WLs for progression, examples are the stars behind sprit barriers and one's that are just out there in plain sight but don't lead to anywhere

In game we don't have much possibilities of activities, the map is huge and one thing we can do is to explore it. But how do we motivate people to do so? - hidden WL.
People driven with natural curiosity in base game start exploring prairie. Of course we are supposed to go inside the temple. Why do we possibly need to fly up the temple's roof?

I have the ult umbrella in Beta. I bought it during lightseekers testing BEFORE it became an ult. Then it disappeared later in from my inventory. It made a comeback in a different colour scheme without the bright blue glow. Just hope to clear that up for people that it’s possible to have a variation of the umbrella without being a hacker. I made a bug report about it months ago and it hasn’t vanished yet.

The original intention of SKY when it was created 🤣 , this is the first area that gives me the original sky vibe again. Funny thing is that flying in sky children of the light has improved way more then in sky light awaits. If i remeber correctly , it was almost impossible to fly in forest for example (correct me if I’m wrong )but in this version its my favorite area to fly😍. But the feel and lightning and nooks and holes etc , reminds me so much of the old version. The mystic feeling of the game returned with this new seasonal area.

for me it's smoothest when I don't flap my wing when making the turn, just keep twirling to the direction you want to exit
in some spots only a few firm twirls is enough, there just keep turning so you don't overmaneuver. great stuff to add to #beta-feedback as well, the wind path shouldn't trap anyone

assembly backpack kills creativity because we now have a whole category of placeable props that originally were ALL meant to appear as the exact same backpack. More than 20 props as a single backpack
if an item is smol it's possible to place it on our back then we should go with that option, which luckily was the case with the pumpkin but still is the case for the pot for example.
and previously if an item was too big it still didn't stop tgc from being creative with it
the table appeared as a chair
the teaset appeared as a compact version of itself
the swing and seesaw had their parts appearing on our back

but right now a lot of items are just the backpack, and it is not creative at all

Could be different colour options, messenger bag vs backpack, etc. That way, if there wasn't a individualized back design for a prop for whatever reason, you could still offer more options for coordinating outfits

On three islands they do not give light, but on the other two they do. Moreover, on one of these islands there are two clusters at once, but only one gives light. The timing could be like in home... Edit: the whole Sky world feels somehow frozen in time, except for home... All that indicates time, on earth, does not really exist in Sky. So this impression would be broken by adding a day/night cycle. However, with assembly I think we already have an exception to that...

I felt and still feel the same. It would help if they tones down the light a bit. Especially exiting from shadow to the light (say from inside caves) it is too blinding and the in-game auto brightness takes a looot of time to adjust. Even then it only reduces a tad bit still leaving the area too bright

The Wibble-wobble makes me think that time and space warping around me and I'm entering a kind of hyper drive and not necessarily a normal cloud tunnel that geographically connects 2 places. I mean underground tunnel is to the left of the cloud tunnels area but it may not mean underground caves is physically /geographically on the left.. Like the portal doors next to each other don't necessarily mean those realms are to the left/right or each other...

TL;DR : camera Wibble-wobble is meant to convey that you are entering no ordinary cloud tunnel. It is a space and time warping wormhole!

To be honest though i feel like getting upset because others aren’t helping you with geyser is kind of… like its WAY different from multiplayer puzzles because you can burn the urchins fine even if you’re the only one. In my opinion its not worth getting irritated at people for chilling and not burning the urchins versus being AFK or just not helping during something like 8 player puzzle where it actually matters a ton? That’s what i think though and everyone is entitled to their own opinions

I had concerns about device health of others. Many people have no idea how demanding Sky is and it can turn some phone into a fryer especially in long afk. That damages inner components (mostly battery longevity and having device docked or charged doesn't help, rather worsens that)

No. It's because sky takes so much resources. Sky doesn't unload anything(at least I assume so) while you afk and still taking heavy resources for our phones.

I always go as chibi to Vault. Sometimes I get the wax before helping but I always try to help the ppl waiting by the door. I also always carry a table in the case I can't wait more for ppl to join us and help with the door. Sometimes I befriend ppl by the door so I can help them

I think they decreased the range for collecting wax so you have to be close to where the spore was popped

i also am a chibi! i only clip when there is literally nobody around to help. if i see even one person i will go over
except vault 4p door cause its too annoying to clip under (death barrier gets me half the time)

I ever met a player who came with 4 peeps just to afk at that timing at geyser while i was the only one burning it. If the geyser is free wax then sure? but you can be busy, I can't be busy too? I do not have matters I need to deal with?

I still think this is what against sky is looking forward as a community wise...and it is only fair that others shared the work around.. I recalled I was afk abit while others are burning in beta (others were burning faster) and I kinda got scolded abit.. so I decided to concentrate more... but it really depends on individual reaction.. coz i ever see players still afk and getting the wax once it is burned in beta

I heard from a friend that there is a bug when you emote with eye of eden.
The bug is said to occur when the person who turns into a blue light emotes a lot towards the remaining people.
Does anyone know anything about this or has it been verified?

In geyser you have to run around to get wax. When geyser was changed i almost don't see people afk there and most of people are burning. Sometimes are so funny when 4-5 kids jumps to burn one urchin 😄 team work 👍

I've always had a problem. I don't understand why some old bugs in beta still appeared in live. I mean we reported those bugs and I thought thats for solved before going live.Live players have to experience all bugs like testers

TLDR they usually only have enough time to fix some before the deadline comes so they look at beta reports to find the worst and most common ones. then they tackle the ones they missed later in a patch

The recent change on that Geyser was because most players in Community keep complaining on AFK players that didn't help with the Burning ones

This is also to reduce the fact that Players getting upset about those AFK and also reducing them from pushing any AFK player into Geyser which making them losing their wings.

Honestly I don’t mind burning alone at geyser. I park myself afk sometimes when I have stuff to do and need a little wax, and when I have time I help burn. I don’t go full afk all the time, but sometimes I do need to. This change with geyser makes it seem like you constantly have to be focus on the game. Sometimes it’s just not possible. I know during busy days I get on and stay at geyser while doing abcxyz stuff irl and I do try to help here and there when I can. I think punish people for being afk at geyser is kinda petty. And sky shouldn’t promote the behavior that the game would punish any players who need to be afk for a bit. Sure there would be some people who just gonna be afk all the time, but I believe that’s not majority of people in Sky.

to be honest, I see alot of afk peep (4-6) at geyser in live most of the time than i see in beta... beta peeps still trying to burn .... I see a bunch dancing at the geyser leaving me burning to burn at the geyser
