I also didn't really enjoy how assembly was a scavenging hunt, except that the things show you where they are, and also after if SC are hidden and we find them, it's not very hidden anymore

You weren’t here for Belonging, were the candles were placed in the Sparkler’s maze at the temple, so you HAD to take race each time there were Valley dailies. That was also at a time when Valley was considered an easy way to net 2 candles daily
(I personally had no issue with the candles being at the maze but I did hear it was tiring for some, some goes for Enchantment)

The Underwater SC below Ice Rink really took me by surprise, I had to ask here on 3rd or 4th day of TLP Testing why am I missing 1 SC Node

If you're on iOS sometimes the update flops, but if you try again a couple times it usually goes through. Restarting your phone might help too, 99% of the time it does the trick ^^

I hadnt noticed any until this update. I found if my sliders were close to minimum, I would hear the attack of sounds, but it would clip. Kinda like how Sky piano sounds from far away. Turning up the sliders fixed it.

Well what if I want to test and to see the seasonal content in game? It's not possible to force new comers to only report bugs and do beta stuff

What Beta isn't: early access to new content, a second account(even though you should play on it as if it was your main account/play normally for the best feedback), free candles and iaps. There can be no compensation to bugs like: traveling spirits(rip sparkler), the infinite forge candle bug fix(people with over 200 candles will suffer from this), progress reset (yes cosmetics too).

What Beta is: Torture(multiplayer doors, friend quests), a way to help the devs make the game better(also by the way, feedback has to be picky, but it doesn't have to be mostly negative if you like something), bugs bugs bugs and some of them are painful bugs(lava floor), not finished content or things that may never go to the main game.

It's not force. You got already 2 replies (I wanted to reply you with similar content) because of how the message was worded. Testing doesn't mean just trying out cosmetics. Beta is not fun, often unplayable (there was constant crashes for 2 weeks for example not a long time ago), wipes of progress, candles and cosmetics can happen and happened already.

And why we want to call your attention to it? Because the testing slots are limited and smooth live experience depends highly on successful bug hunts and informative reports.

Also if very small part of beta community reports something as a bug, it could falsely indicate something is not common. This can make bugs come to live, for example.

Then people are mad at beta players and/or TGC for letting bugs out.

I mean, it's okay to want to see the new stuff, it is exciting to test a new season and see what TGC has come up with, as long as you understand that the content is still under development and some things will be changed or even scrapped completely before it goes live. If you go into beta expecting a perfect experience then you're going to be disappointed. If you're not interested in dealing with all of the bugs and frustration that may come as part of the testing process, then you're better off just waiting until the content goes live where you can enjoy a smoother experience.

Beta IS for testing and reporting bugs. You can’t join and just sign in to get the “new” stuff. Testing has to happen. Beta is not for fun. It’s for work and progress. Live is for fun.

Think of getting early access to new content as one half of a trade deal. As a beta tester, you get to see seasonal content and cosmetics early, but in return, TGC asks for your feedback and bug reports.

oooh I just got some pointers from a friend. Steer with left control in a hole in the clouds and you see a gold sparkle when you are about to break out. I've got it better under control now... but would say that is not very discoverable by playing. Maybe it needs a hint?

I also wanted to mention that the recent build polish of the Season of Flight is STUNNING. I love the white candle placements, the visual effects on the gates, the moss on the jars, and the sound design of the chimes is lovely.

lets just say through my observations,
sky has always wanted players to maintain an actual relationship between friends, rather than friends being just being another player on a list
this is supported by the fact making friends cost candles (even though you can circumnavigate that cost), and each friend having their own friendship constellation with friendship emotes, rather than our usual universal emotes

they never expected players to have a ton of friends, because there is no way someone can maintain 300 personal relationships at once

as for lighting friends, i see it as the slightest attention towards your friends, even if you/they don't really take notice (or interact with at all) who you/they are lighting, at least you/they acknowledged their/your existence and took the little effort to light them/you

audio settings isn't something they were originally against, its just something they never fleshed out on implementing until sky due to the one time nature of their previous games

I think it is reasonable to have limited friends when you first start out, then slowly enable us to maintain it as our wedges or wing buff grows... the longer you get in game, by right the more friends you should get.. in that sense but still... people online should be given a priority since they are online than people who are offline at least that is what i feel..

I would get this, but over half of my live constellation is full of players who haven't logged in in a long time. I don't want to block them or unfriend them in case they do return for hugs. 300 personal relationships isn't hard to maintain at all. I would like to have the option to unfriend people if we have a limited slot for friends to show up on our constellation. I block so many people who’s been gone like 3 weeks+ but the fact that we have to block/unblock for friends to show up is such a pain. Why can’t we unfriend others? Why we are forced to keep crowding people in our block list? Block list should be for those we absolutely don’t wanna see again. I don’t see any good reason why we can’t unfriend people in sky. Hey all, quick note about this rumor about people being near a hacker also being banned. This is a completely false rumor being started by hackers to protect hackers from honest players. It's a tactic to trick people into not reporting them or being afraid to report them.

Every case I've seen/personally investigated about people being falsely banned showed evidence of hacking. When being discovered as a hacker, it brings them shame (and possibly ridicule or broken trust with friends) so they will often claim they were innocent and wrongfully banned to protect themselves and their friendships.

The meditate/face dark dragon/sneaky stance is pretty easy to avoid krills. Only the pleaful parent makes it hard… You can hide based on the krill pathways, or use the pipe. I got krilled 3 times for this.

Using Wind Path to the ark takes you to a unrestored ark. If you relive the quest scenes from the Enchantment qg it restores the ark. I left the game and checked and it seems to stick. Seems odd if it's intentional as this problem doesn't seem to be present when taking the same route to Sanctuary.

Its a bug. I think its because of ping problem. Your friend loads slower than you in your screen due to the ping difference. despite your friend loaded faster than you.

warp broke in the transition in orbit. handholding in general has been breaking a lot more randomly this build but I couldn't even warp back on when the hand hold broke there (at least crab call and baby manta call trying to sing a duet is very hilarious there)

Tgc needs feedback on players first. If they closed beta there will be no one to say whats right or wrong on what to fix or not.

Its basically a group of people that tgc can send future updates to check if everyone can play normally, if their choices can make or break their reputation if something goes to live
