those islands aren't meant to be visited. they're a bit of a smoke and mirrors situation to set up in-game cinematics. much like the oob version of the valley coliseum. getting there isn't part of the core game experience, but is there for the clever oobers

Hey, how does concept modeling work? At certain point, let's say TGC was creating a model for the concept krill, but changed ideas and started making the krill we have now. And then you just have the "bones" of the concept krill model, for example?

If you want to experience Aviary, the Treehouse seem definitely inspired by it but on a bigger and much better quality scale imo. It’s a bit late but I agree with you Kitro. When I tested the tutorial with a moth account I was able to merge with others even when I didn’t complete any part of the tutorial. All I did was just walk into the Isle portal, do nothing and restart game. I was able to merge with a shade in home, light them and they asked to be my friend.
Interactions could be very distracting for a moth, especially when the moth hasn’t even started their tutorial in Isle yet. Now if this stranger tried to lead my moth, and moth thinks it’s an NPC, it’s just confusing.
Also imo, for a moth, not knowing if their progress can be saved if they suddenly had to quit temporarily could be a lil problem too.

When the AWS servers load balance is the most likely culprit. It has nothing to do with the peer end connection. My GF and I server split on the same WiFi connection at least once a day in live, but barely ever on beta.

Yes, in the credits, TGC does credit AWS, so I assume live uses AWS for more reliable servers. I don't know if Beta uses AWS. I just know Beta hasn't had that issue with my GF and I, like, ever.

To get to the prop, I think there was 5 spell nodes, so to get the prop, you'd need 45 Candles total. (maybe 40 if it's 4 before the prop.) There is a split at the beginning of the price tree for more spells also, but they aren't needed to get the prop if that and the hat is all you're after. Edit: I can't math after a long day at work.

If it takes you 90 minutes to do a full CR, that would be around 13.5hr of work. If you take in the labor as minimum Wage for California, that would be over $160 in labor of candle runs.

You could slap a fan to your dock and see if you get better performance. Some good games to test is Pokemon Shield, Link's Awakening and most likely Sky when it comes out. Before my 'cooling' solution (way more in depth than just slapping the right sized fan on the dock), I got frequent stutters on some titles and after it's smooth gameplay.

changes in prices are a normal part of the transition from beta to live. sometimes prices are lower in beta to assist with testing. Sometimes analytics indicate a different price point will meet goals better. Generally, as a rule beta prices should not be compared to live, even if most of the time they match.
