I think the ones that annoy me most next to Valley Race End Cutscene are the freaking ones in Trials. Like when you sit and it lights you up. They force you to watch where wl/exit is too. Like, you force me to play these stupid trials EVERY DAY, let me SKIP THESE SCENES PLEASE!!!

If you fly before going through the archway and don't touch the platform, the cutscene won't play.

I actually have a way to "bypass" that cutscene, tho I have to skip that 3-5 candle wax and fly & glide away.

However, I get bonked often and have to live thru the cutscene :SkyCry:

I know how to avoid cutscene in Vault, Underground, and the ones after trials too. I just hate them. Doesn’t make them any less annoying and/or tedious to have to deal with every single day.

Most of the time, when I run that area, somebody has lit them already so I try to practice that fly & glide to "bypass" cutscene but still get bonked to the arch 😆

depends on what your daily goal is: you'll generally be fine if you want anything under 15, but if you're aiming for grey candle, you can't miss too many at all (assuming you're not using the geyser)

The forced camera has been a pet peeve of mine since early beta. I fear that some of them are hard-coded into the game, which is why they are so difficult to remove.

Being krilled when following that stance memory in Wasteland just because you can't move...fun memories.

I can fly very well using controller if I wanted to skip the ones in Vault, I could. My point is we shouldn’t have to? I mean, most games allow you to skip every single scene once you’ve beat the game. So why do we have to continuously deal with the unskippable scenes every single day?

Dude, I had terrible anxiety when dealing with Krill. Like shaking and sweating. I was so terrified of them. I even avoided running Wasteland entirely due to it. Until I discovered the Home Trick. That enabled me to learn the route for Wasteland and overcome my fear of the Krill. I rarely need to even use it now as I can generally avoid being seen entirely now that I’m a veteran CRer. I can’t imagine how I would have handled Wasteland if I were krilled while stuck in spirit memories.

Originally I’d laugh. Our friend named Eden took us to Graveyard, the entrance area where Krill was to go get wl’s I think and we got spotted. My Fiancé got dropped by glitchy handhold and Eden took off with me at full speed. I laughed so hard as my Fiancé came bounding around the corner after Krill tried to kill her. Then...then the day came that I went there to recollect wls and I had like 23 or so. Dark Water + Krill tore me apart. It was terrifying. Lol looking back on it tho, it’s funny now.

I don't actually do wasteland, even as a veteran nowadays. Burning the big plants really made me want to avoid the whole realm. I had either bad merging luck, or struggled to burn them with people.
Some days I'd stand for 30 minutes with no one to help me.

I’m very good at burning the big plants. I even learned how to do it as chibi. I actually really enjoy it now. Tho it’s harder without home trick. Just gotta burn each branch in between hiding now.

I don’t remember what my first thoughts were on Wasteland, it was such a long time ago. But I do remember learning the krill patterns quite early on and just getting good at hiding. It’s how I’ve always played since then.

The Crab Fields Krill, who we affectionately call Buddy now, is a master at being a buggy brat. He’s spotted us from across the entire boat while we were out of range. We brought up home trick and he stopped literally right in front of us and flew back to his path. He’s also spotted us while flying over the side of the boat by pipes leading to battlefield while we were getting plant on other deck inside that little roof area. How, I have no clue, but he’s one we now ALWAYS keep eyes on.

That was something i picked up fast. The patterns that they moved. So i learned to time it when the krills were away

I have to say, I learned new hiding places when we were running for the Pleaful Parent TS. That TS taught me a lot of blind spots for krill there I ran him solo and didn’t need to home trick at all.

I also had this one amazing moment that I wish I’d recorded after my Fiancé and our friends finished burning graveyard plant and we were running away when two of them got spotted by two krill. The first attacked and they used home trick, were fine, and when the second one went in it was in slow motion and it went right into the ground through them. It was so cool.

Imagine a friend (w/ warp unlocked) tp'ed to you while you're enjoying ur run and that friend attracts krill then warps to you on "I'm gonna get your stars" warning of krill

Haha, look at us all being wholesome. Anyways, I’m so glad for a lot of the fixes, I think my favorite fix has to be the Sticky Piggyback. I first saw it when I was a moth and was super excited to learn it was something you could unlock only to be disappointed when I was forced to drop my Fiancé after every area transition.

I was determined to carry her everywhere only to be denied.

Sadly people seem to not understand that every company has their own Android version because each phone brand is different and uses different optimizations for their phones, they need to have in mind that even in android phones they are differents, like huawei, xiaomi (using emui and miui), Samsung, etc, TGC can't make something for each brand and each android or android based OS.

I love to fly, rain damaging or just interfering with clearness of the screen gets in the way of that. It is a beautiful spot, the treehouse, I hang out only at the citadel mostly because it offers great recharge and flight capabilities, I saw the treehouse will be a spot for it now. I am ok with the rain if they change the cycle to be less abundant or equal. I am just not a rain person, and like you guys love rain, others like me just aren't at all fond of it, so I am hoping they change the cycle to alternate days instead of some sunday to wednesday forecast. It's be nice to have some equality for both parties yk, like a week on and a week off or a day on and a day off. Or just have a switch for it like in the last area of forest where we light candles at the WL to turn off the rain, and people who still want rain don't need to light the candles. Something like that would be nice. Fr those that want it can have it, and those that don't can not whenever they like. People have day to day life things and convenience with the cycle would be a lovely thing I feel for all users playing sky.

Prophecy was scheduled to start when we were still missing files for the season. What happened was that if you booted up the game and stood on the ground for too long, the game would try to play the cutscene to the opening of the season...which resulted in your game crashing as soon as the default questgiver walked into the Isle portal at Home. The crashing could be avoided if you flapped immediately as the game loaded and flew into a portal without touching the ground (which would trigger the cutscene).
