nope, the account that is accessing eshop through the game will have to be the one doing the purchase, there isn't any way to gift games or IAPs on nintendo switch, unless you wanna give someone an eshop gift card code

The problem likely isn't whether you have a Nintendo Account signed in -- the problem is that depending on what platform (iOS, Android or Switch) you're signed on, you're making an IAP via a different provider (Apple, Google and Nintendo) respectively, and part of the IAP is taken as tax by that provider. I highly doubt Nintendo is going to approve of Apple or Google getting 30% of the $30 USD from the Nintendo Pack which is based on a Nintendo IP, and that can only be addressed by having the purchase only be possible on a Switch.

You can't unlink accounts and due to how eShop app licensing works, the user needs a Nintendo account to even open the game. Once the game starts, your Nintendo account is linked to that Sky ID, I would assume.

Nintendo Online is for additional features from Nintendo it self. Like supported game data saving to the cloud. Nintendo Online doesn't work like PSplus or Xbox LIve subscription that is enable multiple player experience. But now you can play free xbox games multiplayer without Xbox live

There’s actually 2 Account menus, the User Switcher on Switch and the one in Sky in-game settings

If you get the acceptance email, there will be instructions with most likely a unique product code to install the beta to your switch. This means whatever email you used doesn't need to be the same one tied to your Nintendo account.

Account link methods don't save data to that service. It just links the TGC server's Sky ID to that link method. I.E.: Google: Hey, email [e-mail] is logging in. Sky server: Okay, here is the sky ID and save data. (Edit: this is a gross simplification, there is privacy and hashes involved, but the example makes more sense than using a 512bit private hash)

Switch can have up to 8 different Profiles on it. So each person has their own save file in each game on the console. You open the game and it prompts you to choose a profile, you choose the one that's yours and there's no problem

The Game Center/Facebook/Nintendo accounts that you've bound to your Sky account are basically different keys that open the same door. When you log into Sky using any of them, they're all opening the same account -- it's not that progress is shared, it's that they're all being used to access the same account stored on TGC's servers.

Your "session" shouldn't end unless you quit playing the Beta. As long as you keep updating it when updates come out and actively play, when we have things to test, you should be fine. Now that the questions about the emails should stop, I think I can bring up what I wanted to about currently Beta.

"Might pass on the Flower Pack because I don't really need the candles and $20 is a bit steep for the only thing I want from the pack which is the Flower. However, if the Pack were to be $5, drop out the candles, I'd be willing to buy it without a second thought. Same for my Fiancé and our friends. They just can't afford it while my Fiancé and I just don't really need the candles.

All that said, I think it's great that all the proceeds are going to Charity, that's incredible and I DO think the Flower + $25 worth of free candles is a great deal for $20, but I just don't need the candles.

Maybe you could do 2 packs, one for $5 with just the Flower and one for $20 with the Flower and the Candles. People can choose what they want to spend on."

I sent this to feedback and hoped maybe others could bring up the 2 pack idea in there if they also like the idea. Hopefully if it's a popular idea we could make it reality.

• Make sure to check the [ALL MAIL] category if you have multiple accounts
• Check your spam
• Search "Beta" "Switch beta" to narrow down emails
• Make sure you have your emails set so most recent by date shows up
• Refresh if internet is slow
• leave your discord pings on!

I did, I was hoping that maybe if more of us like the idea of 2 packs then we could get a $5 pack without the candles and the $20 pack with them for people who don't NEED the candles. Please read my whole message.

You have to take into account fees and taxes taken from each purchase, even if it’s a lower price for us doesn’t mean more money will be donated

The flower is such a small cosmetic that you’re basically just donating to charity. Also fees will probably have to be taken out and maybe you can only donate a certain amount to the charity (minimum might be $10 for example)

I think the $20 is good considering everything else. You’re donating to charity and getting some things as a thank you

The idea is that if more people buy the pack, a $5 pack AND a $20 pack, then that's tons more for charity and hopefully if enough of us suggest that idea we could get the Devs to make it happen.

I don't need the candles so I don't want to spend $20 for the flower, which means I won't buy it at all. However, if there was also a $5 pack without the candles since I don't need them, I'd be more willing to buy it. I have to buy 2 times because my Fiancé and I both buy IAPs and $40 is just too much when we don't need the candles, but want the flower.

I figure having two packs available would maximize potential profits too.
