@robust hawk Moving conversation over here to preserve screenshots channel for screenshots. I do like how the white T2 cape is. I still have the same gripe that I have with black T2 about not "standing out" when in most flights. On a small screen, like a phone, it looks too similar to their tier 1 brethren. I also hope Black T2 can have a Black underside.

Comparing to other Tier 2 capes, these aren't noticeable when traveling compared to other tier 2 capes. Stopping and lighting candles, burning wax, etc when the camera zooms in looks nice. It seems they didn't design black/white for the zooming out the camera does in most places when flying.

Up close isn't too bad. I have a video in #beta-screenshots-videos with me burning SoA Quest 1 with black tier 2 and you can definitely see it isn't tier 1 cape. The image comparison flying in places with a wider camera angle like graveyard is barely distinguishable though: #beta-screenshots-videos message

To be fair, the game looked great on the Pixel 3a... Before the AA bug that crept up in Sanctuary. I do share the sentiment though. Due to Android segmentation, quality took a big hit last summer. With switch, they are all using the same hardware and software (Tegra X1 and HorizonOS respectively) so it's easier to optimize for that platform.

I hope they have touchscreen controls for Switch, they've had the best touchscreen controls I've ever seen in a mobile game. I know it gets annoying with some more precise jumps but even that's something you can get used to

TGC's goal has been cross play and no need for other services like NSO. This is most likely one of the things we would be testing. They can only get so much info in their dev environment. Letting a soak/beta test makes sure other network configurations and different parental controls on the myriad of switches being selected for the beta will hopefully fix any lingering issues they couldn't create themselves.

That would be the cause of it. Props spawn at the constellation plate in home and can yoink unknowing players to where the person wants the item to be placed. Seems that's still a bug. I highly suggest filling out a bug report with screenshots if you have any.

I think the issue it with the chat items doing that flashy thing any time someone enters or leaves the server. they’re flashing to the constellation rock so if you enter at the wrong moment the item flashes there and has collision with you long enough to stick you to the item and bring you to where it actually was placed. I broke into the pity room using that bug (intentionally)

The Switch Beta, on the other hand, isn’t the same sort of beta. I’m pretty sure the days will be synced up with the live version of the game, it’s just considered beta because it’s the early access version of Sky Switch.

there are no candle packs in beta, although other iap are free for testing purposes. you would have to go on candle runs to get candles. this is so that beta testers are encouraged to play the game and find bugs. you can read more about it in #beta-faq

Well, Switch Sky Beta and regular Sky Beta are very different, and not just because they’re on different devices. The Switch Beta (I’m pretty sure) is lined up with the live version of the game. It won’t be early access and all the events would be lined up with whatever’s going on on people’s phones.
Regular Beta however is about finding bugs in the early stages of programming to make sure they don’t make it to live, as well as giving feedback to new updates so everything’s ship shape by the time it’s being sent out.
The only reason I’m concerned is because if there’s something important that gets brought up here (a bug that corrupts game data or any other problem in the game for that matter) I wouldn’t want it getting buried under the Switch talk. Though I think that’s part of why there’s a slowdown rn

It depends, sometimes the server glitches or you get a server merge while you were opening it and it still registers you doing it. I find that especially with the one in Vault, if you go to open it as soon as you spawn there, it will pretty frequently let you open it yourself if you're quick enough to do it before it puts you in an instance with other players

i think days of rainbow was a good work around to this problem. its pretty clear that its associated with pride month, but not clear enough to stay safe from being censored or banned in some countries

Sadly, that isn't how the TS system works. They use a random number generator to assign TS far in advance. I wouldn't be surprised if This TS was pulled before Sanct even hit using internal notes, like season06_spirit03 or something like that.

Under the second 4 player door is possible without any tricks. As chibi you just fly up onto the ledge underneath platform, go to the right where there is a step, and just wiggle back and forth a bit until your character steps up onto the step, then you fly up and forward very carefully onto the platform under the stairs above to run off and hop under the room. It’s really simple.

Bring torch to recharge your light.

You could also just use the hill next to the door and chibi fall. Just be sure to flap before you hit the reset floor. Edit: oh, second floor. Yeah, that one's easy by clipping under the platform

ive done chibi fall under 4player door in first floor but its a bit complicated to do tho since you have to avoid respawn barrier lmao

Torch offsets the light issue without any problem and you can even recharge under the floor to get into the room with torch as well. Torch is definitely the most useful item I’ve ever used. I refuse to use anything else.

I’ll just choose the obviously better option and use the way that takes seconds, thanks.

Even Home/Return Shrine to change into mask and grab torch is still faster and better than spending 15-30 minutes trying to get inside a door that could take seconds with a different method while still being 1 wedge. I don't block people, but there's a friend in my beta acc who I never lighted(for personal reason) and every time when I open my friend constellation I can see their name. If an account gets banned, I think they disappear from your constellation, iirc. The friend disappearing in live is most likely due to full constellation.

I have a small grudge at them tbh, but if they did nothing wrong like hacking then I feel sorry for them. But if my friend in live got banned out of nowhere... ;_;

TGC doesn't ban willy nilly. I can assure you they did something to get banned whether it be not following community guidelines or other ToS breaking. For your live friend, they most likely got swapped with another friend from your constellation. (Due to being full)

Hopefully. I'm still observing and keeping an eye out to those names of my friends who suddenly disappeared in my live acc. They did appear back once in a while after disappearing. I hope tgc can fix this problem of disappearing names if constellation is full. Maybe I should do a feedback?

I think that you might be able to, if you connect your beta to Apple ID, uninstall the game, sign out of GC and then back in with the new account you presumably want to use instead (?) and then finally install beta again, connecting it back to Apple ID. But I haven’t actually tried this, so I’m not entirely sure.
