beta testers are generally more experienced players, so the overall demographic and mindset you encounter here might differ a bit from what you'd normally find on the live game; personally, i'd suggest paying attention to how responsive they seem to interacting beyond the task you're collaborating on (e.g. seeing if they respond with emotes or seem like they're socialising more than just going after the task)

Imma stockpile some ideas for new events

🔹 Some race light thingies spawn in the citadel randomly for more fun and you have to keep flying and catches them for more wax

🔹 Mushrooms also spawn randomly in enchantment every 30 seconds and enchantment is big so good luck and size and wax is the same as sanctuary balls, and the empty center of enchantment has a big plant that respawns in a different pattern, and the wax despawns if you don't get it in 1 minute when someone else takes it

🔹 The statues in prophecy spit out wax after you beat the trial and quest giver bows to you after you bow to them and ability to exit without collecting wl for 1 wedge and capeless users

🔹 Some hoops turn orange/golden which means they have wax so you can fly through them

🔹 Assembly quests will give you a bit of heart piece depending on how many people are helping

🔹 Playing music makes the sky notes fly out like in music animations for normal notes

🔹 The higher friendship you have with friend, the more heart piece you get from them lighting your constellation

🔹 Smashing through eden rocks in flight to orbit gives you wax

🔹 Seasonal candles appear empty when empty

🔹 When the candle runs out for anything with a candle (benches, cannon, etc), it explodes into wax

🔹 An ability to move in unmovable cutscenes/camerapans and skip both

🔹 A second social space, but it's more of a playground than talking and benches

Yeah I did the live 2nd quest 12 hours after the reset and there was noone there already, I've waited for good 10 minutes and then asked Cake for help

Also, not everyone have the time to repeat those scavenger hunt. Imagine doing a last minute run for daily quests and one of them is complete a hunt? You will certainly miss a seasonal candle. The bottomline is, the scavenger hunt is not meant to be in daily quests. As much as we enjoy doing it.

Same thing goes for other quest like holding hands in a group of 4-5 players, and everything related to friends, in a last minute run you can't do them (I already can't do them when I'm not in a rush since I don't have friends anymore so 10min before reset lmao)

I'm pretty sure we have scavenger hunt everyday in beta only for faster testing, the way bloom quest was. I mean everyday we just sitting chilling under cherry blossom lol

they were activated by meditating at certain spots (some spots were bugged out and you couldn't see the meditation circle); you could complete them entirely on your own, but the more players you have, the faster you could finish the whole thing; failing to finish it within the time limit didn't matter as long as you collected at least one light piece yourself, similar to the valley races

Imo the obstacle for assembly quest was the requirement for others' participation to activate and complete some quests. So maybe that's why it feels different with the old quest, cuz u only need yourself

some of my thoughts about the differences between the old light awaits quests and the current scavenger hunts as daily quests:

• objective locations only show up momentarily on-screen and are quite a bit more hidden (exacerbated by hidden forest's somewhat cluttered nature)
• rain draining our flight power (though slightly balanced by how scavenger hunt objectives fully refill light when collecting one)
• scavenger hunt takes a bit more time to complete due to not having a time-out condition
• multiplayer requirements (both to activate and collect quest objectives)

So, testing out black tier 2: It seems the colour choice is too subtle for some aspects of the cape. I assume white T2 would he the same. Since they both are the most expensive capes in the regular constellations, I feel the colour could be better. Maybe utilize the gold tassels from enchantment capes, but instead of gold, do silver? That would make them "pop" more. Ideas? Still trying to get thoughts together for proper feedback on the cape. I feel it could look better. In some spots flying, it just looks like Black T1 on my phone (like flying down into Sanct islands, you can't see the flair of tier 2).

I would assume in tablet/handheld mode, you can use the touch screen, but if you have it docked, you'll have to use controller for obvious reasons.

Edit for definickly: switch lite has a touch screen, so it should work. You just can't dock the switch lite due to mhl being disabled.

jelly call visited beta on december 4th during testing of a different version of the ts sytem - the tree was structured so you had to buy the hair (80 candles at the time) to access the pants (free for ap holders), can't recall how much the music sheet was, blessings and wing buff were normal. you can't use these prices as a reference for live as it was in a different system

I'm not sure though, since they're posting the sign up link on twitter, you may not necessarily need to be in the discord server to be able to participate. They may have some special instructions for sending feedback and stuff that will be sent out to whoever ends up being chosen. I don't have a Switch so I can't participate anyway, but I'm sure they've got it figured out for when they're ready to start

No, it doesn't mess with your account, it just re-installs a previous build version of the app. But as it's been mentioned, after a while they will make it so that you have to update to the most recent version to connect to the server, so it's not really a super useful feature unless we run into situations where the new build ends up being extremely buggy and unstable

Oh, they don't go back that far. The oldest one that I can see on TestFlight right now is 0.12.2 (160614) which was originally released when they were testing the stuff for the lunar new year celebration (it mentioned the felicitous visitor at home). The only way to see what the game looked like from farther back would be going through old videos on Youtube and watching others playing the game from back then

Can I just say how happy I am there will be a Pride charity event for Sky?!? Today I was talking with my Japanese friends about it and they had no idea what LGBTQ+ was, so I explained it. I even taught my friend a few weeks ago that they seemed to be Asexual and Aromantic, and today my other japanese friend came out as Bisexual. I think it's a very great thing, and hopefully the event will taught a lot of people on the outside who are not familiar with LGTBQ+ and even help discover themselves.

i'm pretty sure that a large portion of android users aren't using samsungs. just to clarify, android is the os. there are dozens upon dozens of different phones that use android as their os, with samsung being one of them
