That isn't how it works. That would be a pain if true though. I am sure in their dev builds, they can resize to certain "common" heights to ensure there isn't clipping or artifacts. But all items can scale quite easily with a robust engine like sky without the need to make multiple items for different sizes.

I think that android users lost some seasons due to the late release. If TGC releases the old season as a paid event somehow again, Still it would cause a big backlash from some veterans as it takes out rarity aspect.. The tier 2 capes are "simple" in design because they're not meant to be fancy bragging items. They were introduced for players who had a lot of hearts stacked up and nowhere to spend them anymore.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think any new item they introduce into the game comes with a tag of “spend when you have too much of some currency”, usually if it’s there and people really like it they’ll end up getting it. Most people won’t bother getting them, because 1) they don’t have enough hearts, 2) because they don’t like them
The fact that they are so expensive and that only a certain small percentage who are saving up that many hearts can afford them, is a testament to the novelty aspect
Lol, technically a lot of higher expense brands irl are simple too... and yet they cost as much as they do for the novelty of it
Going around wearing Gucci is a novelty even if there are cheaper knockoffs that function the same way.

This is what ultimately shapes the object — the way it’s perceived by people. This is why companies spend so much time and money maintaining brands...
I think the intention is great, but how it will be perceived in the game may be different
And as of now, they are the most expensive capes in the game... and they feel underwhelming for the price

I wouldn't know about beta since I am an enchantment moth in live and never checked beta images of the capes, but in live, they always had the gold lining on my phone. Recently it got harder to see due to Android quality loss, but zooming in and you should still see it.

When it comes to pings, and speaking only for myself, i'd rather be pinged with questions than people try to sleuth out WhAt DoEs ThIs MeAn?! and arrive at the wrong conclusion.

While I try to read most conversation here, there are a lot of cases where someone goes "ktjn if you're here....question"...and I never see it until i have the time to do a keyword search sometimes days later.

With that said, I do ask that folks try to be respectful of any tgc staffer's time. Please try to read information in the news/updates/known issues/faq/pinned messages/etc channels before pinging. it's okay to need clarification, but understand that responses might not be timely. Like where the 2 krill are circling the pipes. =_= I got so used to being taken by the wind that I never dared to try to fly there unless I fell off and even then it didn't click that I WAS FLYING. I had to see it in a video before I realized it was possible to just fly into the pipe where the crabs are that leads into the last area before PNR. Then I learned you could just skip all of that entirely if you took an OOB which is what I now use when I'm in a hurry.

We should definitely discuss it here, but if you're basing this conclusion on one single cr it's not very reliable. It's better to test several times for consistent issues or errors, especially when it comes to the new light collecting system.

I was counting a bit earlier today, and my numbers were suggesting that you should get about 5.7 candles from Wasteland as the first realm (i.e. you should drop down to 2 chevrons, but you won't see any partial drops on the 2-chevron level itself)

I don’t think every prop should have a function. I only wish for option to make collision possible with friends so you can actually build a camp with friends using each others’ props. That would be the ultimate use for them for me. Otherwise they just feel empty and doesn’t really give the feeling they intended for.

Back in Enchantment, TGC accidentally left 4 mushrooms in the game, each of which gave a regular candle (so you got 4 free candles). 2 were under the seasonal pendant shape area, and 2 were in the air
they were eventually removed because they weren't supposed to be there

It's interesting to see where TGC has been taking the game. I like the new aspects of socialization with the Assembly quests and some of the Days of Nature fun, but it can be nice to have game elements where it's an advantage to have friends, but not a requirement. You could technically do the mushrooms alone, but it was far more difficult than doing it with friends.

The challenge to build a table for the ones under was the real deal. If you didn’t have warp, server kept switching and you had a narrow time period to grab on your friend. Good old times

forced cooperation is obviously going to be very different than the organic cooperation you get while playing sky normally. less likely for friendships to be made because the goal is "finish the quest" whereas in organic socialization, the friendship is a byproduct

I made friends with this one player who was an absolute expert at getting the oob mushrooms. They would literally just fly to the mushrooms and have you pick them up as they flew by. Absolute legend

it happened in a build just after the assembly invites, many beta moths struggled with the bug the piece was perfectly over the ground when the scavenger hunt testing began

The old beta invite system involved beta testers being kicked at the end of each cycle then waiting for another invite system around the time a new season was being tested. This has been discontinued as TGC can't kick Android testers without creating a new beta app each time.

As a result, as others have said, the new system is that only inactive iOS testers will be removed when they don't meet the activity requirements (which TGC has not disclosed), and the removal can happen at any time. TGC will open new slots for both iOS and Android when the active beta testers fall below a certain threshold, and the invites can happen at any time (no longer only at the beginning of a season testing cycle).

TL;DR - there's no mass removal anymore, and invite waves aren't tied to season beginnings
