Iirc, it was player feedback that made one of the capes in sanctuary "better." I personally never saw the original and revised version to give my own personal opinion, but player consensus was it is better now with the feedback changes.

sanctuary had a lot of changes to cosmetics halfway through the season. i remember the ultimate mask for rhythm had at least 3 redesigns during testing. the turban from enchantment got an upgrade while the season was already in live. lots of opportunites for change with cosmetics, all you gotta do is leave feedback on them!

I couldnt do the quests with strangers yet and i should at one point, but the quests felt way too easy when i went there with a group i know and have warp with. However i have zero idea how can that be more balanced or if it has to be more balanced.

I think it was easier due to the number of people needed. Getting 4 people (strangers most likely in live ) to coordinate will be a bit of a stretch. So may be the task is simpler? 🤔

When I get the “Do you want to return” notice, I tap the checkmark...and nothing happens. When I get back to the guide, it automatically re-starts the beginning sequence all over again.

If you are talking about the four player one, that's odd you can't complete it. Did it three times already with friends and random players and all got it to work.

can’t deny the fact that I see the heart shaped icon on top of moths are players wearing past seasonal stuff and event items such as bat cape and all those. I believe they enter beta illegally as well

what I’m saying isn’t it best to report those players instead of just let them pass? with that tons of moths we see everyday there can’t be really that many people willingly quit beta just because they’re busy? most of us probably will just delete the app without actually press ‘quit beta’ . not saying that it’s impossible to have players quit beta but truth be told it’ just unlikely. I even see people selling beta accounts on buy-and-sell forums.

How to get into Sky beta:

• get invite ping role
• be active in the discord (I.E. show you already submit bug reports, as this is a main thing you will be doing in beta)
• wait for ping
• ......
• profit

As long as you have the role and are active in the server, you will get pinged when they start new invite waves when they deem they need new testers. (In before skybot yells at me. )

Not really... Beta is beta. No need for elder hairs. My live account has isle and gw completed though and rest of the const are above 90% in live. (Missing one or two items from each of the other const)

While it most likely won't happen, progress wipes can happen at any time if TGC sees it necessary in beta, so I would suggest not focusing too much on your constellations and just ascend friendships.

I would suggest to just wait for the season to end. Usually we have enough surplus of candles to get all candle nodes on the constellations. That's how I did mine.

it can be helpful to fill complete some of your constellations for bug hunting purposes, like the one time testers found that we couldn't buy the forest elder hair. just always keep in mind that nothing is ever permanent in beta

Also, if you have a star pin, it can be bound to beta and live accounts due to them having separate databases. If you have one, I suggest trying to pair it to your beta account also for testing purposes... Especially the TGC pin. No need to equip founder's cape to get in office. Just use the pin.

A lot of the props haven't had their purpose coded in. If you feel underwhelmed by the ultimates or the quests/area, #beta-feedback is a good place to express those concerns. Just keep in mind a real person does read each feedback.

Dreams and prophecy were made available to test later in development, when this season was released in beta there was a disclaimer that it’s much earlier than usual so it would be even more broken and unfinished than usual

Ah I guess there are random Android players that get in, but still most should’ve heard about beta from the discord or are very lost I guess

unfortunately, we can't control that, and that falls under a topic we shouldn't discuss. the only exception to freely downloading is with androids. sometimes, spots open up when someone leaves the program, but that isn't very common. all in all, testers should have access to the discord to report bugs and give feedback

Brightness and saturation seems to require some fine tuning, but so far, I'm enjoying the new textures. Especially the new clouds shadow on the grass. It makes the homespace look breezy and cool, very nostalgic imo. And the new textures and much more vivid Eden on Android I used to only see the smallest details on my ipad, but now my android phone can see them too! It's so good.

If you see anyone with hammock in this current beta build please report them as it is not currently possible to have. Last beta build it was possible briefly as the tent/shelter item would instead spawn the hammock.

In fairness, it is not very intuitive to find the saplings, unless one is accustomed to tgc logic of implementing things in game. Perhaps little petal route to sapling would help and it would be aesthetically pleasing addition to the game too. Or just put the sapling to a blatantly obvious place. The only reason why I think 60 sec is too long is the server swaps: I got kicked off the bench or had to relight the candle at least twice when the server swapped. Also, players waiting for you to finish is not helping to chat with the other player because I feel rushed to finish the conversation so others can complete the quest. Today I was sitting with another player and they just used emotes while sitting, not willing to chat. As soon as time was up they just bowed and waved goodbye. So the convo encouragement does not seem to work.

On yesterday's sapling bench quest, a Japanese player asked for help regarding the "love event" ( which I assumed to be either days of Bloom or days of Love ) so I just said "there is no quest" and before I could continue to elaborate, they cried and dissapeared ;;

Conclusion : this quest fights off my will to stay quiet. Dunno if that's good when I purposely rarely talk (with strangers) out of personal experience. But this is still nice of TGC to do ^•^

That forced intro at the Forest’s social area - I wouldn’t call it annoying, but it’s a bit disruptive, what with the restricted movement and camera angle. Normally I’m not one to stick around and watch every time, so I just flew off to do my thing today.

That’s when the camera locks, my Sky kid stops responding to my input, tries to go back to the edge of the social area, and ends up clipping through the clouds below and going OOB. Anyone else had this happen lately?

There’s a floating rock with some benches on it - right under the rain. To top, there’s a small... thing... that sits in the middle that you can light as to not let your light drain.

Problem is, you can’t light it in the first place because,

A) It’s ridiculously small,

B) You’re under the rain, and

C) By the time you manage to get a flame going, all your light will have drained from staying under the rain for too long.

one thing i've really enjoyed so far is how much you can interact more with the spirits, and they have a lot more character to offer for the sky children.

i do agree on the quest issue though.... trolling has never really been an issue until recently as the game's popularity grew. it's really upsetting that it's come to a point that interactive game play that requires team work, which is what this game tries so much to encourage since pre release, now has to worry about people just doing things to ruin other players' experience.

it's not really a tgc issue, but a community issue. though we can't really do anything about it, i hope with feedback we can bring these issues to light so they can at least try to implement things that can prevent more of this behavior to be encouraged

tbh the easiest solution for the sapling quest is to simply go home and wait a minute, then go back in. it'll put you in a fresh server and hopefully this could help in reducing merging servers with trolls

another thing we should consider is that beta is less than 1% of the playerbase, and as much as trolling issues are a problem in especially similar features like these, they became a lot more successful when introduced to live. trolling is definitely something to look out for, but the thing we do have to realize is that we need to put more trust in the overwhelmingly large part of the helping community. i have mever experienced trolling in sky for the entire duration i've played in live, beta doesn't count.
tgc would definitely not have considered the helping quests if live was acting like beta with similar quests that already exist.

as skybot says, we should let our fellow testers try and figure things out for testing purposes. if a majority of testers find this quest difficult, that could translate to hundreds of thousands of players in live.

I didn't crash using the pipa/bipa there I rarely crash though. it did make my UI funky because when I went to go home, the button was halfway off my screen

Bane you mean the seasonal ones? make sure to give feedback that you had a hard time but there's two spirits at each of the three treehouses: forest entrance (the area right past where you trigger the rain), forest brook (where the river is and hide and seek spirit), and boneyard/broken bridge (final area before temple)

Mine was a story of a Cadet candle runner who was placing journal entries about how no one getting hearts was spreading darkness and krill started appearing in valley and prairie due to said darkness spreading... It spun out of control then just randomly stopped one day. If anyone was waiting for the final chapter in that story, sorry I cut it off with a bad cliff hanger.

I made a boat hunt back at the beginning of prophecy / end of sanctuary. Every day i placed a boat in the next map with one word of a quote. Whoever found all could get some reward at the end it was a fun thing to do off season.

it only works for the owner of the shield since collision isn't enabled for anyone else. since there's nowhere to sit to enable collision like the chat items, collision is permanently disabled for everyone but the owner

Iona, it could have been due to the top of the canopy not actually blocking line of sight. The canopy should stop krillings. I'll share a video in #beta-screenshots-videos of how to avoid krill with the canopy

tent can hide you and your friends from krills actually. it’s only difficult to find the ray of shade of the tent to repair properly from the light but yes it works for everyone are around the owner

I've actually had people ask me for the "scripts" for cosmetics I was wearing before I've been on beta since before Enchantment testing so I have quite a lot of older seasonal stuff onbeta. they kinda told on themselves asking that question but it made me sad they thought I did that too
