I think some tunnels are just very long. It's just that we teleport there quickly to save time, it's not like the tunnel entry in a forest area is directly attached to the exit into the treehouse, the tunnels may longer , have lefts and rights, ups and downs

The two in the last treehouse (with the moat and torches, areas before temple) are just near the base, the cutscene should point to them so if you just see a dark orb you might've merged with a server that's already relived them and have to go home and back

I think adding new areas all the time will be counterproductive to the game. There will be many dead-end areas that will not receive much interest. This approach of adding elements in the existing forest areas which all allow for you to connect with the Treehouse is a smart and practical decision.

Well you can, but you use a glitch where you click the umbrella and the candle icon to pull out your candle while still holding the umbrella, normally you can't

While the umbrealla is open , tap the flame and umbrella icon at the same time. It's usually time consuming send not a good trick haha

There is a glitch that lets you hold the umbrella and candle simultaneously, just press the umbrella and the light button at the same time (when holding umbrella)

Ok serious question. What does the rain drain add to this season? I wasn’t a fan of the Lightseekers forest quest but I could see the logic behind it and it was an interesting challenge (tho somewhat flawed) to get the light under coverage before it went out. And if you weren’t able to pay attention to the spirit’s journey, you could always watch someone else do it later.

But here, all it does is take away. You can’t even see the spirits before you run through them. There’s no time. They might as well have just made them featureless cubes. You can’t even watch someone else doing it bc they’re running through them just as fast. Seems like the whole season would benefit from the drain either being removed or drastically slowed down.

That's not normal. I just did Eden recently, so I'm at 7 flaps also and did the quest fine, but my plants were whole. You're missing a leaf which would be difficult. Edit: I suggest submitting a bug report with that image so they can try to make sure the plants have all their pieces.

#beta-faq tells you this, but everything in beta is free for testing purposes. in my opinion, it can get hard to balance both live and beta, since they are different apps with different progresses. you'll have to be prepared to get a little frustrated because of all of the bugs, but the best part of beta is knowing that what you are doing is going to make the game so much better for you and everyone else!

Eden at th end of broken bridge if you step onto the platform with the wing light and light all those candles, it stops the rain and brings out the jellyfish

what to use the random summoning hexagon for?

option 1 gather your friends and put them in different locations. Then try to fly through each of them. For each time u fly through without bonking u get a point.

option 2 go to the deep forests and put it, then place a moff inside it for sacrifices

option 3 train your krills to go through them
side effects: you might loose a couple of stars in the process

From what I can tell you can only burn them if you have the quest so probably not, my friend and I tried to help doing the quest and the plants would glow but not burn

I farmed for 6 hours yesterday and got 15 candles. I started at Isle and went through the trials and everywhere there was any wax at all. 15. Is that right?

I don’t know the max but I stopped at 2 chevrons as the forging speed did not change for a very long time while on chevron 2. I played little bit less than 2 hrs and collected only approx. 10 candles. I think I covered approx. 80% of all realms (I do not count trials and Eden in my cr).

I was wondering if a valley race has exactly as many ‘orbs’ in live as needed to get a full candle, and this theoretical orb count didnt changed in beta, then 2 chevron has a lower wax rate than the live rate. So basically only 3 chevron gets wax faster than live, all the others are slower.

I did not do the races but I was stuck on chevron 2 for many candles, it definitely feels slower than live. Too noticeable difference from chevron 3 - it actually made me stop collecting wax; not a rewarding experience from chev 2 onwards (feedback to tgc was already provided).

Wow, I have to say, this season’s looking very good so far, and it’s only been a few hours since it’s dropped in Beta. That green cape with the yellow accents, very Lightseekers-esque, yes. The questgiver even has the Lightseekers Questgiver’s mask too - it’s just a placeholder, I know, but it’s pretty hype regardless

As I said above, a lot of new back accessories, the one I’m looking forward to the most is the bugle/trumpet - though they all seem to be missing textures at the moment, including the pendant.

depending on what's causing the null item, it might cause you to crash, or you'll only be able access the intended item in a future build.

In the past, null items have prevented people from getting items entirely without engineering assistance. caused players and anyone in the instance with them to crash, or just served as a placeholder til the item was implemented.

Hey I’m sorry for pinging you and responding super late but I kinda wanted to tell you this. I know it may sound silly, but as a kid who could only afford free mobile games and maybe the occasional 1 or 2 dollar games, your response means a lot. As a dumb kid I saw my friends playing Agent A on the tv they had and I wanted to join in. By then they were much too far in for me too understand so I did what every kid does, goes home and bugs their parent until they buy a $1.99 game to play on their tablet. But being a dumb kid I didn’t pick up on everything and that’s where you come in! Your guides really helped me through that game and many more throughout the years, and partially helped me get to the point where I could complete other games, even without guides(mostly). I lost 2 WL finishing all 6 and often found myself turning white under the rain, which reminded me so much of childhood. We run in the rain and we slip. Some cry about it, some laugh about it. The spirits are kids, and therefore their memories fade faster than old spirits memories.. So, having "chased" the memories of the said spirits, and not simply "following" them, when we meet them in our constellation, it becomes easier to remember them. One day when they become travelling spirits, we have fun stories to tell our friends, because the spirits feel like playmates too! Instead of simply NPC's who exist to simple give us emotes and cosmetics!

Remember that bowtie grandpa from sanctuary? It felt like I was carrying an actual old due from the bottom of the mountain aaaall the way to the summit. I like that the memories to relive are personalized depending on the nature of the spirit being unlocked. This season are kids, and therefore, their memories are playful and exciting too!
