Trick to relieve bugged yeti spirit :-

So , the bug occurs due to server merges. Just turn off your internet before starting the spirit quest , so there's no one in your server. Then just go on doing the spirit quest , you can do it easily. ||keep clicking on retry on that annoying no connection popup - that is||

for ppl that are struggling bc of the crashing issue with lighting candles quickly: if you just barely light one candle and step back, you can wait for the rest of the candles to light up from that one bit and then go in to collect the wax. bit of a slow method, but better than crashing

You're getting the same number of rewards. Sanctuary had lesser rewards per spirit. Also it's no use to just clutter too many spirits without any motivation for them.

There are 8 seasonal candles in all realms, except Isle. They don't give as much wax as normally in beta, but you should still be able to get much more than the usual daily.

Again to whoever disagreed with me, I respect your opinions. My problem is not the hat being IAP, nor is my problem with the players who paid for the hat last year. My problem is with TGC's decision to make it IAP - day 1 they tell people publicly that it's gonna be in-game currency, and the very next day they say 'lol in your dreams' (which actually goes quite well with the title of the upcoming season, but that's not the point).

If you tell someone that something is free (or paid, whatever) on a relatively short notice, you should stick with that no matter what, otherwise you're just gonna set an example of bad marketing in the industry. I'm not trashtalking TGC here, it's just that this decision seems a bit off

Its actually a surprise that the santa pack is given with in-game currency. TGC nvr made any IAP purchasable through in-game curreny coz it is surely unfair to anyone who bought it last year. In the context of the initial "for candle" announcement already being made, that was already a sunk cost relative to their decision about whether to respond to the feedback or not. Their two choices at that point would've been whether to hold their ground (despite feedback indicating that the majority of players wanted a different decision), or to listen and change their stance as soon as it became apparent that the player base wanted something different than what their initial stance was. I'm not sure I can really fault them for a quick response to majority feedback if that's what it was, though I do agree it would've obviously been more ideal if they didn't need to change their stance to begin with, which may have been possible with a poll prior to announcing it.

Being a mobile game, I would expect Sky to have a much larger f2p player base than paid players. Imagine that out of the 50 million, 40 mill are f2p and 10 mill are paid. So nearly 40 mil people are in favour of the change while 10 mill are against it. Do you see the problem now?

Sorry this is getting side-tracked into commerce, but investors primarily invest based on the number of customers. The revenue of the company does matter obviously, but not as much as their customer base. I agree the number of p2p players is increasing, but one of the major reasons of it are f2p players calling in new friends who might be inclined on spending money. I myself was invited to the game by a f2p friend. My point is not that, p2p players do nothing for the game or for TGC, just that f2p players do more than you think they do.

Not worth, we always release builds for both platforms. We schedule the builds to release automatically when they are approved by their respective platform when we do these late releases. Please keep in mind the team is working overtime to get these updates out. It is currently anywhere between 1am and 4am for staffers.

The short answer is no.
We don't delay these kinds of patches because it's more important for us to get them out as soon as possible to ensure bugs are fixed and things are stable. We understand it can be annoying for the staggered release, but remember that this is beta, we do testing for us, not at the demands of impatient folks. If the time differential is that much cause for stress to someone, beta might not be a healthy environment to be in.
