i think that the severity of the ts change really hinges on how long you've been playing, if you're a veteran / you've gotten a lot of the cosmetics it's not gonna be as bad as someone who's joined in, say, sanc / doesn't have a lot of the cosmetics.

Before the season of prophecy started, there was a countdown in the MOTD- which cannot be trusted as it's not an indication of when the season will start. When it reached 0, and reset was here, the starting cutscene for the season would start to play- only to crash because there was no season

It was named the floor is lava because as long as you did not touch the floor in home, the cutscene would not start

Because there is a higher collection rate for season candles only in beta, that often means you get a lot of candles by the end of the season for conversion if you were active

Unpopular opinion: I have seen comments regarding the ts changes would be unfair to newcomers. But have you thought of the other way, that by implementing ts that doesn’t require the iap now, that that is unfair to the people who bought the IAPs during that time. The vets also paid with money they earned in real life, waited for weeks during the season to get the cosmetics. I do believe that the changes to the ts does bring balance to the TS for both vets and new players a like. People always argue its unfair for F2P when they haven't realized why they are called F2P in the first place. Those AP locked items were locked before, they are just returning it to TS. Like you, I just find it fair to people who give money to TGC.

If you really want to support the game, buy the seasonal pass. This way, TGC can continue to develop seasons and make the game alive for years.

Personally I feel like the traveling spirits were supposed to be a chance for new players to get content that they missed in past seasons. What if someone joins near the end of the season but really wants to get the cosmetic from the traveling spirit, but they would have to buy a whole pass and not be able to finish the season. Plus, the traveling spirit is just a single spirit out of a whole season.

The idea, as far as I know, is contradicting one of the fundamental aspects that make up Sky's designs for Sky kids. I remember watching one of their conferences about Sky's art, and they mentioned how a Sky kid should NEVER look hostile, suspicious, or dangerous. I feel like any dark-themed cosmetics would make a sky kid look dangerous at least.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but I'm saying any dark-themed stuff is very unlikely. I think the closest we have is the crab call tbh, and even that sounds more like a cat than anything else, HAUAHAAH.

You make a fair argument. The issue is the motifs they would use with any dark-themed stuff.
If a moth sees a skykid wearing a helmet that looks like a krill, the hostility vibes would be too much.
If a moth saw a skykid wearing a spider web cape, they haven't seen any spiders in Sky, so they wouldn't have that much hostile vibes.

The other problem is the motif of dark stuff in general TwT

Yeah, but no need to prepare storage, that data doesn't add up to the already downloaded files.
That's just because it downloads all resources again, so an update doesn't affect your storage drastically, the game will still take around 1GB
Sometimes the size might shift a few 100 mbs but not 800 stacking everytime

Beta hasn't had a progress wipe since near global release, so if they tested for say, season of belonging, they would have the bonfire, the only thing that got wiped so far is access, so their items are intact.
However, items like the deer mask and the ultimate umbrella do not legitimately exist in beta because the length of the season's run in beta, so any players with those items did something bad to get them

Omg- whenever I play Sky while listening to music in another app at the same time, it almost always crashes. I played for a good twenty-ish minutes (way longer than it took for the Live Version to crash) and experienced absolutely zero crashes! Do you think it’s an improvement to Sky as a whole and that it’ll later be improved in the Live Version? Or is it simply because the Beta Servers aren’t as full as the Live servers? This is my first time being a Beta Tester, so comparing the two has been quite interesting for me!

when an app crashes one of many reasons can be due to memory running out, caused by running multiple apps simultaneously. beta servers are smaller and usually more empty so you will likely run out of memory much more slowly on beta than live due to the drastically fewer active players in any given server.

I have a theory that it’s tied to how seasoned you are in the game, sending hearts, making friends, going places, doing new things, means you’re learning and getting better at the game so that you can shepherd moths just by what knowledge you have,
of course, just a theory
But I got shepherd and I don’t make any friends by candle in beta so

I don't mean to intrude on this discussion, but if you message an unknown person saying "you better do this", it is most likely going to be seen as a threat or demand. I understand you did not mean that and I'm sorry that you were publicly called out, but please be considerate to the staff and moderators. The time of beta invites is a quite stressful time for all of us, and especially for them since they get bombarded with hundreds of queries every minute.

I tested prophecy season till now, i didnt see any bugs occure like yo, it weird if play beta but didnt report bugs bc like THERES NO BUG LIKE WHY WHYY

Bruh it’s alright. No one is entirely at fault here. Krilltjn and you are both human. You are entitled to feel bad and krilltjn was only doing his job. God knows how much misunderstanding has happened through texts like these. But it has happened and I believe you do not wish any harm to krilltjn, and krilltjn does not wish you any harm as well. You are human, krilltjn is human, we are all human. We feel sad awful and more, but we also forgive and be better in the future. What sky thought us that the world can be such a better place if all of us take a step back and take a walk in another’s shoes. Hope your day is blessed 🙂
