I am feeling guilty about something: I was in the last beta. I have an alternate account in live and love to use it as a battery as well as company and tools. Also, since one account is on an iPad and the other is on an iPhone, it allows me to verify visual distortions, bugs and other issues. Sometimes things will happen on one device but not the other. As soon as I got in the beta, I brought my alternate in as well. Did I take a spot away from someone else?

@median spoke if you used two different apple ID accounts, then yes you took up two beta slots. if you are using the same apple ID for two different devices, then you are only taking up one slot.

to get the blue cape, you need someone who has it already to get you in the office. once you're there, you'll be able to purchase the blue cape in the shop for free. this will only apply to your beta progress. beta progress has nothing to do with live :)

the blue button thing is from a link that is in #beta-faq, but it has already been established that that link should not be used to enter the beta program, so just ignore It, just use the link in #beta-signup-info.
And the TS thing is something that is being tested rn, a new system for traveling spirits.
For new testers: As long as you can download and play the beta, it's okay.

Advice to new beta players: Get the chibi mask and/or chair It may seem like there's a lot of people now but when the hype dies down, you will be alone most of the time. If you don't want to wait hours for someone to come by and help you open a multiplayer door, get the chibi mask and/or chair.

I'm very sorry if I've confused anyone - it seems like the devs are trying a new method for Google beta invites, so if you're completely new to the program, go ahead and follow the directions given and you should be okay!
I'm speaking as a returning Android tester who's used to checking that page to confirm my tester status, and was wondering where it had gone (since the link is now different). Since I had the app before and my access was removed (and now returned with invite waves), I wanted to share that link to make sure that others who had been wiped could also check their access before the next update.
However, I can't pretend to understand the beta invites system, so I'm just sharing what I've found. It may or may not actually be relevant to testing. Don't stress over it, we're all learning together here!

I'm just gonna repeat what I said earlier real quick: If you're new to Beta, I recommend getting the chibi mask and/or chair as soon as possible! Once the hype dies down, you'll probably end up being in a lot of empty servers. If you don't want to spend hours waiting for somebody to help you open a multiplayer door, get the chibi mask and/or chair!
You can perform a glitch with the chibi mask that allows you to fall under the world. This lets you enter certain areas without opening them from the other side. The same-ish thing can be done with the table feature.

OOOOHHHHH wait I did encounter a weird bug where the top person wasn’t dying but the bottom person was when I did piggyback in water and we stayed in piggyback. happens sometimes in fire too where one person dies but the other doesn’t and the piggyback stays connected. I don’t think I ever had it where both didn’t die though. both skykids were close to shortest non-chibi height so the water was easier to die in. I think I encountered it as recently as 2 patches ago in beta? I never took pictures or video of it happening because it was not 100% guaranteed to work but it did happen in live too. and now that I think about it I don’t think I ever submitted a bug report on it man slowmode is killing me lol

I never experienced the piggy exploit in water, but definitely in fire. The top person doesn't die, and just teleport with the person carrying. But there are few instances where the top person doesn't even teleport, and then the other player can warp back to where the last were. I've only seen it happen twice

I dont know if this happening in live too, but after i buy a cosmetic, the button for specific closet section appears on my screen all the time no matter where im standing at home. Except when other buttons for constellations or merch shop appear. The problem is that I cant read boat messages because there are just no button to open one, when a closet is shining before i wear that new consmetic I bought

I've seen it a lot where the top player would be effectively invincible while on the piggy back, then the base player would die from a fluffy leaving only the top player but then the base player can warp back so the two person stack nearly never loses progress. The same thing could theoretically be done in water trial, especially since the dying player will float a few moments but they would have to continually warp back to the surviving top player.

Its like that because the devs need us to play the game like in live. If everything was unlocked we wouldn't want to collect spirits or winged light. This way, we actually have to play the game and find bugs.
