THATS A BAD THING I was so happy when I finished all elder hair , it was worth it but I don't wanna do that again for some capes that are worse than seasonal ones

i have stopped grinding too as i have finished the constellations for a good time now, but these items are a nice way to let veterans that want to keep on grinding (slowly or not) have something to aim for.

Quite a few of my vet friends have hundreds of hearts just sitting there. I have a little more than 200 in live myself.

The beauty of these capes is they are optional. They don’t counts towards constellation completion. It’s not a necessary thing to buy, I may only get 1 or 2 in live.

there's season after seasons coming and tgc wanted to do something for the older players but god forbid they do something that doesn't target the new player base. yes the capes could've looked better even as a new introduction but i'm sure they're working on ways to improve them as well. at the end of the day you don't have to get any of these items and no need to make the game into something it's not just because you're having a hard time gathering currency. you won't lose anything just because you didn't buy a virtual piece of cloth so no need to put unnecessary pressure on yourself like this.

Imo the lining of the different colour fringe for each cape could do with being altered to suit that cape in particular. Like.. say .. give them complimentary colours in some cases. Like a purple cape with a yellow fringe. Or.. the teal cape with an orange fringe. 🤔

And the white cape nodes shouldn’t be available in the current patch (not sure if is available in orbit constellation tho)

Not all veteran have hearts piling up, somw veterans just don't farm and trade at all
Even some new players can farm and trade a lot and get 150 hearts in a month or two, so they can get those capes.
I don't think these Capes are intended to be a mark of a veteran and superiority

i usually don't really have the friends or people around to help in netease since i'm the one without any flaps, but whenever a friend joins and latches on to me, i take them on a candle run. and back in live about a week ago, i met a moth and ubered them through a majority of the game, getting wl, spirit, and candles before my battery died. i hope that moth is okay and didn't get mentally scarred by wasteland. the main reason for me helping out is that i wanted to return the favour for others helping me when i was a moth. the sky community can be really nice compared to other communities.

Iirc from a tgc livestream every time the pattern got more complex it was adding another layered texture to render. When it got pretty complex it was a lot of rendering for such a small item in the game and wasn’t worth the processing power. The base cape still looked nice though

It's best not to make assumptions based on your desires and wait for official communication on these things, will lead to less disappointment if your assumptions end up incorrect.

Double hearts are a pretty complicated process that requires extra effort from the engineering team (which is why we do not do them very often and why those events begin at noon instead of at reset).

We don't know what the future ui will look like, only that it's being built completely from scratch, but the devs have also said that they're looking into improvements to the friends constellation so one day !

We're working on overhauling the UI in terms of how it's built. Once that's implemented we'll work on making improvements to the UX. These things take time, and I don't have any more details or an ETA on this at this time. There are interdependencies between some systems so what seems like an easy change is actually months of work for multiple people.

My veteran beta playing friends and myself as a semi-veteran (older than most but not old old) seem to remember that the default hearts in beta used to be doubled. There was no double heart event in beta because beta hearts were always doubled. So sad D:

That sounds like a testflight issue. Some ios players experienced it. Maybe try and dm @hardy carbon

we haven't removed anyone from testflight, so the only way you'd lose access is due to inactivity (which is automated) or leaving the program consensually. sometimes it will look like you have no beta access but restarting testflight and/or your device resolves it. The invite links are anonymous so we have no way of tracking who is or isn't in the group, let alone remove people arbitrarily.
