You should only get wax from Spirits the first time you collect their expression. It's not intended to get wax from reliving spirits—it may look like you do when you burn the husk, but should not add to your candle counter. The two revamped spirits in Isle of Dawn might give wax the first time you relive their new memories, but may also be a bug.

@desert mango Not sure if this was in response to me? Either way my meaning was that for incompatible pin STAR devices was that if you bought the pin it would come with its unique code. Typing that code into a redeem would let you use the pin like a spell (for you only, once you have used the code once the code is linked to your device)

Kind of like how an app store card works, you buy it at the store and redeem the code.

The spirit candle thing is a bug. You only get wax when reliving a spirit the first time and so, we should get it once for reliving the new memories. I'm fairly sure this will be corrected in the next patch.

I suppose it comes down to how much of a completionist you are. Nothing in the game is a must-have, really. Some items can be helpful, but you don't need them to be able to play. But many players want as many cosmetics as possible and having these new ones added could cause them more stress.

if it was Crystal or Dark then yeah both of them equipped it in eden. If you equip it outside eden it reverts because the crash happens faster than the server can register you wearing it. but in eden you're capeless long enough that the server keeps it on (some of them aren't null giccix I experimented with yellow cape)

If for prairie it is not critical, 'cause it is cheap constellation, but for wasteland or valley or vault it is very critical.

Following and warping are different things, following lets your friend fly to you if they can see you, and warping lets them instantaneously travel to you and hold your hand from wherever you are in the level, even if you can’t see each other.

I feel like a 2018 beta tester's friend's (met her in Limited Live, Sky: Light Awaits) idea is now starting to be implemented--She said the base game must be improved too, and I feel the capes of game crashing are intended to be unlockables AFTER obtaining a particular constellation's ultimate reward (in which case I need to work on completing the non seasonal constellations, all for testing purposes O)-<)

yup that's happening. if you equip it in home space then the server won't register that it's been equipped and you go back to your previous cape when you reload. if you equip it in eden then your game will crash when you reach the wing buffs and you won't be able to reopen the game because the server still shows the cape as equipped. it's because there's nothing there to show you so the game just shuts off

Facilitating candle collection like this would mean a lot of money loss due to decrease in candle pack purchase, and the whole game would circle around traveling spirits. They were introduced in Rhythm and they were at first intended just to provide the emotes, not the cosmetics, not even for free. The revamp that occured benefited new players a lot, but not veterans who spent actual money.

Uhm, as stated above it will not encourage in game purchases. Currently a lot of people buy candle packs so TGC wouldn't benefit from this feature. And cosmetics never get old, so you can't compare it with that

just a suggestion but when you do get your account recovered, take a screenshot of your sky ID and save it on a pc or google drive or somewhere external. That way if you lose the account for any reason again, you have the ID to get it restored available. I keep mine pinned in a discord DM with a close friend

It sounds like nova maybe didn't link their account originally, which is why the old settings didn't follow into the new phone. I hope it gets solved quickly for you!
