Yes, they are currently testing that system in beta, but have no plans to bring it to the live (regular) version of the game any time soon. They're just trying it out to get feedback
Basically TGC is testing a system where the traveling spirit items that were pass-only during the season can only be purchased if you have the pass for the current season. This WILL NOT be in game any time soon so for now everything is working "normally" in live

Google is trying to fix the issue with players stuck in limbo, things may appear wonky for Android testers for a few days. Android beta is capped, but when people leave the program, someone else can join in. Unlike iOS, where you leave the program that slot doesn't open back up.

Discussing NetEase, Chinese players, or the Chinese version of Sky that is separate from the Global release version is not forbidden. We try to remind people to keep things respectful, because it can go down a pretty nasty rabbit hole that alludes to negative stereotypes and there's zero tolerance for that kind of behavior.

The game economy is different on the NetEase version. As a publisher, they make changes that make sense for their community and goals, which have the potential to differ from the Global version. We have visibility in the changes, but largely trust that they make appropriate decisions with their community's best interest in mind.

I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have an off-top question.
I sent a feedback in the #beta-feedback and there's this note about sky bot sometimes not delivering messages after it deletes them, and that it is advised to check for a confirmation that my message was delivered.
So I wanted to ask, how do I see such confirmation? I kinda left phone for a bit, as i attached some files and upload was taking a while, so when i returned all i saw is my message gone and I'm on a cool down. No confirmation of the delivery. Is it supposed to be like that or does that mean that my message was eaten and i need to resend it?

@urban tendon Sometimes and sometimes not. I can't do a proper conversation in hungarian with other hungarians cause basic words are filtered, but swear words go through the translator easily if i talk to others . The quality of the translation is pretty good tho.

I don't think that one was developed for a pin, and was just thrown into the batch to test for proof-of-concept. afaik it's not working correctly and we pulled it from the list.

The cosmetic functionality that we developed for the cape pins has been reused for things like the lantern and days of mischief spells.
the manta pin should make the smaller mantas spin, but doesn't affect bigger mantas.

We understand they are expensive, and don't expect every player to buy every item, or even any one item. If it's something you deeply desire, you have to budget for it. Cosmetics are not integral to gameplay or progression and the prices are fixed.
That's just a part of life, if you want something you have to save and/or work extra for it.

We have a target number of items for each season, and sometimes we'll add extras if time permits. The loadout of number of items per equipment slot varies from season to season. We want each item to fit the tone and theme of the season and make sense and not just hit a criteria of X number of Y type of items. Rhythm had 4 pants, Enchantment had none, Sanctuary had 2 and Prophecy has 1.

@frail widget If you have read the #beta-faq you would know that currency lost in beta is usually not compensated. This is because we are here to test things out, not to collect items. 🙂 Having said that, sometimes it will be corrected if it is a more serious bug that might affect Live players eventually.

I think the issue with having trials as daily quests would be troublesome for newbies. They would need to unlock the trials one by one from the prophecy questgiver. If let's say one of the quests was completing fire trial, the newbie would have to complete water , earth and air to get the fire

I think it's actually a good change. I have always been dreaming of more customization of cosmetics to show more personalities. If this change is not causing any other bugs, I hope it's not removed.

Trial of air is perfect .... Not to easy and not too hard .. Remember its the 3rd trial so it must increase in difficulty from water ...that's why fire is harder than air... Well to me its my opinion and if you find it too infuriating then do the emotes the season gives to calm down 🤍

Decided it was time to risk air trial again (after a very painful experience a couple of versions ago). Could not reach the (3rd?) Checkpoint due to strong cross-winds. Went backwards every time I tried. So skipped past it and a silly mistake kills me before the next one. Then I die three times in a row to sudden unexplained death (spontaneous combustion?) on the platform before the unreachable save point. So I guess the cross winds finally did some good. Helped find a bug (report just submitted).
Looks like we're still at the fixing stuff introducing new bugs stage for air trial. Thank you to the few brave souls who still attempt it (solo) most updates. We will get there.

Why I cannot find Sky(and Sky beta also) on google play?? I cleared the cache, reboot my device, log out and sign back into my account, and even change an account, but I cannot find them? Why?

Have you gotten sky on your device before? If not and you cannot find the app at all, it may mean that sky isn't available on your device because of problems it may cause to your phone/tablet

@tawny nymph If you've installed them before, you should be able to reinstall!
If you go to the Google Play Store, open the side menu (the icon with three lines) and go to My apps & games.
If you go to the Library tab, you should be able to find a list of all apps that you installed before and redownload them.
As long as you're using the correct Google account, you should be able to find the apps somewhere on that list and reinstall them!

Ah, okay! Check #beta-faq. There's a section there for if you get an incompatible message when you try to update.
Unfortunately, if that doesn't work for you, the only suggestion is to wait and try again later. Hope it works out!

I mean it's multiple meals in USA. I could go out to a sit down restaurant or have like 5+ homemade meals for the price of some of the IAPs. the number being smaller doesn't necessarily mean it's actually cheaper for us. currency exchange rates are fun like that
