The store is empty because there are no candle packs in the store for beta. You gotta earn the candles, if there is anything to buy (the only things you can get is the starter pack and founder cape)

There is nothing new in beta right now. They will post all the infos we need into #beta-announcements when the season is ready to be tested. Until then, take your time to accomodate. Figure out your schedule to be able to test in beta and manage your live game. Try to relieve all the spirits, make new friends and have fun, until things are not so buggy.

idea for android: what if TGC changes status from closed beta to open beta for just a short period and only notifies people of this change through beta updates channel, or create a role for android waiter to be ping-ed a special message. Then only those waiting would bother to check and download. There might be 1 or 2 randos who just happen to check play store, but I doubt it. I know to wait, but I am also trying to problem solve.

Two, season of prophecy is the origin of Sky. They are the main lore on what created Sky or smt

Agree with KayAlida. That group helped me a lot too when i started in beta. @gleaming yacht #beta-looking-for-group is definitely going to be your friend, where people will actively be looking for others to open doors and complete quests. I‘m sorry to hear they didn‘t help, but do remember that people beta test differently. Some people run it like live and hit every nook and cranny, while others are just testing specific things.

TL;DR: beta is a different animal, so make sure to utilize your resources here on discord

Nova you don't necessarily have to look for bugs. (They find u not the other way )If it's bad enough it will grab your attention anyways. If the devs need something specific to look after you will find a message about it in the update channel. Bug reports can be useful to check tho, if you are interested in what others found, or bugs which may effect your device so u can test it too etc.

Maka it's not a bad thing to ask questions and feel free to do so in the future. If it's something which hasn't been answered literally one post before I'm sure most ppl here is willing to help you . Invite waves and the first few weeks are just generally chaotic with a lot of repetitive questions which has been answered in the FAQ or in every 2nd post in the channel. But I recommend you to tap on the invite after the beta access wipe and after they post the invite just to make sure that you're a tester.

@spark lance for now, I don't suggest you camp the beta page app on Google play, I suggest you check from time to time when you can on the Google page website for the sky beta app and see if it updates. Today it still says "updated 5th of September" so I suggest that you check the game update date when you can, that's what I'm doing

Google has problem to download as i know so far, but i know the trick how to make you able to download from google without waiting, only 50%chance but still able to do it. To increase your friendliness level, you have to help your moth friends! Or any other friends you have. Take them on a candle run or lead them to somewhere special! It's still a mystery but I think this is how you increase friendliness level.

the progress you make doesnt affect the meter apparently. do friendship things, like holding hands, gifting hearts, and ascending friendships. theres probably more but those are the ones that we know can fill the meter. being inactive also brings the meter down. experiment!

There was a glitch earlier that made the game crash after the season intro, cause the season isn't in-game yet. You would only get the intro if you've went as far as Wasteland so maybe that's how you missed it

When you first relieve a spirit, you gain half a candle from it so new players will get candles faster. The regular candle rate in beta is the same as live though

Yeah, the butterflies only appear if you do the puzzle. You see them in live because its easier to merge into a server where someone already did it. Rarely anyone does the puzzle in beta because there isnt anything in there anymore

normally candle placements are pretty much the same, but they have moved around due to being inaccessible. During Rhythm, one of the vault candles was literally clipped inside of the door so you’d either have to oob past the telekinesis door or clip into the door

Bug hunting has been good! I actually got excited when my game crashed in ||Eden|| cause that meant I got to write another report
(Also I've been getting in the habit of screen recording whenever I run around incase I encounter a bug. Helped me get footage of the crash! )

people who have adventure pass got it from "the floor is lava period" where they either haven't played past valley or they got into a the portal without touching the ground. they could see the pass in the shop and could buy it

I’m really stoked that TGC clearly also saw how excited everyone was with the Forgotten Ark story and the bit of lore it offered, and are now giving us an origin story lore heavy season 😍😍😍 sooooo excited to see this new place. Isle is one of my favorite places to chill and I’m glad there will be more to do there now!!!

beta isn't about cosmetics, it's more about testing and finding bugs and giving feedback. if you wanted to see the cosmetics, you could of looked in #beta-screenshots-videos when they came out because people would most likely post screenshots of them. you wouldn't take a slot for someone who wanted to test and you still get to see the cosmetics.

Well, whoever does think this is early access is going to be very disappointed with how unfinished everything will be

Nothing is final in beta, everything is constantly changing including cosmetics, mostly due to feedback from us testers

But I just like to remind that it’s okay to be excited about the new stuff! It seems sometimes when someone says they’re excited about new cosmetics everyone flocks to them to tell them to be patient and that beta isn’t early access

Oh! While I'm thinking of it, a question for you veteran beta testers out there!
How should we approach the new season when it comes out?
Basically..... do we just play through it normally and then start looking for bugs?
Do we focus more on the seasonal content to make sure its ready for live, or give the regular areas the same level of attention?
Apologies if my questions are worded weird, you can just give tips instead of answering them if its easier

There’s also a phantom xylophone in my inventory that when I played it it looks like I was playing music on my chair

well, i've only tested one season but i try to play the season like a normal player would and then focus on some parts of the season/area/whatever that i think could be improved or kinda just look around for bugs.

My process last season was playing the game as usual.

1. Give feedbacks on thing you would like to change (For example, geyser didn’t recharge us at first but people gave feedback and now they do!) Ofc do note that not all feedbacks will be implemented due to coding restrictions.

2. Report any bug you found whether it’s a winged light being OOB, weird wonky texture/blocks, etc.
