hi! how do i send my message using the paper boat thingy? i tapped the icon (i was standing near the pond in homespace), but it only showed "✔" and "✖". then it told me to drag it over to interact with it, so i did, and put it down to hopefully float, but it just went poof.. and i wasn't able to write anything too? asking this first just to make sure that i used it right! Currently the invites are closed. They’re not looking for more testers before the new season. But if you got in, during the first time you should be able to download beta. But as Raf said, google have had and still have their issues I believe

Yes! It would be so fun. Imagine entering in birds nest for Sanctuary but have the ability to just come out to the caves or someplace else. It’s fun to fly though the level, but a hassle getting back to the entrance/exit

i bug reported two of the texture errors i found in the bug report thing, some stone textures were replaced with valley wall textures(?) and some textures in the prairie hub were made black, like the birds and the closet icons were missing in a strangely creepy way

It's a shader causing the screenshot issue, so it might be the way in which some android devices are rendering the shader that makes it appear as not-broken, but the broken shader is still present.

I thought they changed it to swipe too but I’m glad it stayed. When I first started playing i had zero idea about glide I only discovered what it’s used for when my friend tried to teach me air spirals and explained it. So It’s waaay more obvious now what it means than before.

TGC has been pretty fair with regards to the balance of iap/purchased items vs. the f2p experience imho. Lot of ‘perks’ certain items have can easily be replicated with creative thinking and friends. Bonfire? Friend + chat table has the same capabilities. Star pins? Guess we’ll just have to be a bit more mindful about going thru realms and make sure we don’t miss anything before going to the next map
It’s not a bad thing that some iap is very shiny and cool, this $$$ income keeps the game f2p, and so many f2p people make the community so big and wonderful

yeah, I gave beta feedback that the sanct creb cave tree could use a lantern near by, the crab cave entry was too steep and dark, also that it’d be cool if sanctuary entry was more visible and had pillars with the fishy-arrow gold ornament on top I’m probably not alone but it was so nice to see the changes

About the price tag, the development team sure must work a lot, but 20 bucks for a item still is and will ever be outrageous. Maybe that is the cost for the 10 bucks pass which is fair ((the cost being random cool items with surreal prices, no, not everyone get there salary in dollars )), accounting the amount of people playing the game. I have been buying passes since I start playing the game which accounts for 6 seasons I think 60 dollars( 300 reais) not accounting candle bundles which I have bought. ( Oh 60 dollars is not s lot of money !wrong! ) And future seasons which we will continue buying.
So ofc I loved the item , and I want to support the creators of the game as I have been, but I won't stand for that. And if the community will not complain and just let it be , well ... The community deservs to suffer this. And it's not the first time j say this

So seeing as the lantern is little more than a dim light and a bic on a stick, im just curious as to why this is a seperate purchase and not a cosmetic on the next season, 20 is steep for 35 candles and a light that doesn't do much. RedHot, the lantern is tied with the days of summer lights event. while perhaps it's not a particularly 'practical' item, it also has cosmetic value, which is a big part of sky, where expressing yourself is so important. having it as a separate IAP is part of what allows TGC to develop Sky while keeping the game free for everyone

the message boats are meant to work the same as message candles, i believe, so it should be a max of 1 heart per boat.
The boats are part of the message candle system, you can fave them (and possibly get a heart) the same way.

My android’s SD card has so much room, but not all the important apps I have are OK to move onto it. It’s an older phone but performs decently. I kinda dread the day that I have to replace it... I kinda like that it over heats a bit when testing sky. I can observe what areas in sky have odd temperature hikes up in live vs. beta.

If I’m having problems, then other peeps might be experiencing it too in maybe a lesser or greater magnitude. It’s really interesting to do very strict testing. Like for each CR run I start at 100% battery/35% brightness/Around 25celcius internal temperature/power saving mode/minimum volume. These are variables I can control on my part... so what happens in sky in live vs. beta is revealed more clearly.

i made a very small small discovery that the logo for the upcoming season reminds me of an eye, and i link that to the Eye of Eden! (it also looks like the objective point , but heck i think that could be a secret eye too and i just notice)

Ah, okay so.. nothing’s really changing. I’ll press to install ( which it seems to be installing abnormally slow ) and after about 50% of installation it’ll say that I have nothing pending when I go onto test flight and that I need to install again. At this point the loading icon on the app itself is still going. After a couple more minutes the loading icon on the app disappears and I have to try re-installing again. Rinse and repeat..

After seeing the lantern, i have a question....i hope this doesnt sound rude or intrusive;
I read somewhere in this chat that the lantern wont recharge light since its deemed too "op" and they didnt want the item feel like a p2w. But...theres the bonfire. While you do earn the seasonal candles on your own, you technically still pay to get said bonfire, as per ultimate gifts work. Its a bit odd? I mean, i dont expect fast recharge from a small lamp but..

I think if you are extinguished you can’t bring the prop item out. You may automatically put the lantern away. I haven’t tested yet though
