If you search around a bit in #beta-screenshots-videos you’ll find pictures of both items

People speculate the ultimate rewards may change before season hits Live (as it’s happened once already with Winter piano being replaced by the new hair), but it’s not likely

@graceful mesa In Beta we saw the Isle Gratitude spirit followed by the Prarie gratitude spirit. IF (and beta to live is always an IF) they follow the very limited pattern we saw in Beta then we will see a return of all the gratitude spirits at least. BUT keep in mind that this is just speculation and even in beta we haven’t seen the bunny yet.

When you purchase anything from the spirits it does that animation (one of you offering, and one of the spirit offering) if you let it play long enough. Perhaps it’s a bug where their offering animation is stuck with a prompt?

Since you don’t really need to accept it when that happens to get the item you purchased

It's also important to remember (but easy to forget) that beta is for testing the game- it's not meant as a substitute for playing the live version or as an early-access. Because it's meant for testing, things tend to move swiftly. Timelines are often shortened, features are often changed, and not every item will be obtainable. This isn't meant as a punishment for players, it's simply how beta testing works. There are patch notes provided that beta testers should read so that they're aware of what's being changed or implemented- if you take a break from playing for a while, I suggest you use the patch notes and information in #beta-announcements to catch up on anything you've missed. @brazen flicker so...since I am playing the beta that means I should be contempt with the fact that I need 36 event candles to unlock an item that the in game is not providing me right now for unknown reasons to me.

This also after the fact I spent some regular candles that you and I know are kind of a grind to get. Yeah, this is a beta...doesnt mean you should run it whoever the devs pleases, more when these events are the big meat of it all, when there is urgency to get these items because there is a chance you wont get them in the future.

Panda explained the situation pretty clearly based on explanations I've provided as to why things can be strange or interrupted on the Beta version of the game. Ultimately Beta is a testing environment for us to get feedback on features and ensure we don't encounter any new or unusual issues that were not present during internal testing. Nothing is promised or guaranteed to work. We understand that can be discouraging and understand if it makes you not want to play Beta and respect if you choose to no longer participate. That being said, we try to set expectations ahead of time that it is intentional that features will be impossible to experience to the fullest extent in the beta environment.

Dont tease players with in game items on an event that they might not get cause the game itself doesnt give you the means to get them (I am searching all nook and cranies to find the event candles and no luck) but hey, thats me.

As the game itself I havent got any issues, aside from a weird glitch in some areas that the cloud "breaks" when some angle hits it on the camera and you get this nice rainbow colored blocks instead. No crashes, no nothing on my end.

Regarding Beta, it was originally listed in the Google Play store as Sky: Children of the Light (Early Access) so there has been a lot of confusion as to progress in Beta transferring to Live and people not really understanding that they are playing on a public test realm and are not entitled to keep any game progress made on their Beta account. That was our mistake and has since been corrected but depending on how communicative those players are with official channels, they may not realize or understand the difference.

Going back up juuust a bit, it's my understanding that betas are made for testing and progress saved is never ever guaranteed, a wipe is entirely possible and even a given
But I've done my fair share of beta testing over the past ten years so that's just how I take it, but I understand not everyone understands the implications of beta testing either!

We do have visiting spirits now, or well, they start the 31st, that should bring back some Gratitude stuff. Although we don’t know which exact spirits aside from the Sassy stance that was announced in the patch notes

It's China. Somehow one of their App Stores (I think Tencent) keeps getting copies of the Android beta apks. There's usually a time delay between updates and when someone updates the apk. Since no updates happen on the weekends, it usually catches up to the current beta app then.

Now that I think about it, with the change, I don't know what is beeing flooded with responses, (a certain cape ) vs things that may not have been suggested yet. If I'm being helpful or just adding more noise.

I should perhaps have done that and downloaded some of my own old stuff, but something just finally tipped the balance and I left in frustration without thinking of that.

Maybe the group needs a change. Maybe it doesn't have to be about beta anymore. I just felt that there was little screening of new members and/or new members joining didn't understand that the group was intended for beta players (despite the name).

I should say one of our kind discord moderators has added keeping an eye on fb to their docket. FB's non-linear formatting is okay for small groups but the community outgrew it, discord while not perfect suits our needs a lot better.

I think maybe I just miss Them Olden Days.

Also, TGC did say that they were moving over here (some time around Live launch?) and that this was a preferred place for feedback etc. But then leaving the FB group "to its own devices" also meant it deteriorated quickly. Perhaps it had been better to close the group just like they did with the FB Soft launch group? Or to keep it for the history, but make it more of a one-way information channel. I don't know.

Things were a lot smaller and more intimate then, yeah. FB is still the preferred platform for a couple of our devs, which is one of the reasons it's still open.

And one of the reasons we've made the changes to the feedback channel is to hopefully keep the feedback more constructive and unbiased from others' influence, some of the posts were starting to get pretty abusive and we were beginning to receive feedback that it was impacting other members of the community to see.

We'll see how things go and will continue to make changes.

ah yes, so the star won't light up til the server has confirmed the light was sent, bit the little icon shouldn't be there when you pull your friend down from the constellation. which is probably why when you relogged they all lit up.

@vestal stirrup the beta version of the game is a completely separate game for testing. the beta gets updates before the live version, such as seasons but many other things as well, so they can be tested before release. this channel is to talk about that version of the game

at the moment is pretty much the same as the live version, so things are more quiet in here
