I think my concern is missing out on other performances and seeing friends, like the people I'm with are really really good and I appreciate them so much, but seeing everybody else talk about the other performances they've seen and hanging out together gives a bittersweet emotion if that makes sense? Like this is really incredible and I'm glad so many people can share their music, but last test it felt very lively and jovial in comparison. It might just be a me thing though!

Basically, I have reported Live issues in the past that had solutions implemented in the Beta in a few days, so I don’t want to waste the development’s time by reporting something in detail that was already resolved in Beta before I could even report it.

it's not a waste of time though. beta testing is limited to pc and mobile devices. beta solutions that work on those may not work on the console versions, and even then there's variation among different phones and computers. so it is worth reporting on the live bug channels

I understand why it may feel frustrating to see other servers get the “better stuff”. Whether a red riding hood event could happen in live is something that none of us here have control over, so we can’t guarantee it.
I would recommend avoiding looking at netease content altogether

I found the fan cool and a interesting item, however, the fan doesn't have any interactions with the skykid at all, besides using him to fan you, so i would like to see if we can use the fan to interact with the emotes. For example:
When you use the Peeking Postman emote, instead of covering yourself with the cape, you use the fan instead, or if you use the Indifferent Alchemist emote, instead of shrunk, you just move your head

overall, how are we feeling about the snake mask for fortune?

personally I feel it could be better;
-the mouth is a HUGE no for me, the open mouth masks tend not to look good in general (tho that could be a preference thing) but especially on this one, the shape and size it needs to be to accommodate seeing your skid's face doesn't read snake at all, more like fish honestly.

-it's too wide and too flat, when people think "snake" they think of the snakes with dainty li' snoots that taper towards the front, but the mask does not.

-adding to the above issue is the trim, the accent colour is too far down the bridge so the gold trim lies over the edge of the nose, which is contributing to the lion vibe I've seen some people mention, and the mouth trim is making it read more lion gums/fish lips too.

honestly I feel it would be better off getting the duets mask treatment; make it a half mask with fangs at the front, giving it the vibe of open mouth without having to worry about the bottom jaw, then slim the snoot towards the front a little and pull the accent and trim on the forehead back a little, so it stops a couple inches from the edge, eliminating the cat nose effect that's currently happening

maybe I'll make an edit tomorrow to more solidly show my ideas, but for now I'm interested to hear what y'all think 👀

I gotta disagree there i think the open mouth is great those kind of masks are so rare (only 5 exist not including the snake) especially since we got a half mask for year of the dragon last year which imo was an upgrade from what they originally had but could have been better.

My only issue with the mask is the tongue and forehead don’t have separate due sections.

Personally I really like the direction they went with the mask! It feels fitting for sky aesthetic wise, plus I've seen some carved masks from Japanese craftsman tend to have the open / semi open mouths with the fangs flared out and tongue curled out, it gives an intimidating snake vibe so to be it's perfect. Having it half mask or closed mouth wouldn't easily read as a snake mask without the signature fangs and forked tongue. I'd say maybe have the orange accent part move back a little, leaving the snout white

Many reptiles tend to have similar snout shape when their mouths are closed so it can be hard to discern snakes (especially boas) from many other lizards because they have similar streamlined snout shape. That's why an open mouth gives off the snake look right away because of the long fangs and forked tongue

The mask gets to me a bit for being somewhere between a lion and a snake in its design. Just wish for it to be modified slightly to adjust some shapes or curves to be more snake-like and less of a cat. The indent in front of the eyes is a cat thing indicating forehead and muzzle, snakes tend to have indents behind the eyes. The nose is more like a cat as it lacks scales, shape or patterns to suggest otherwise. The eyes come off as slanted like a cat where snakes are quite round and snakes don’t have those lower fangs.
I do like a whole open mouthed mask sort of design! Liberties here and there for the fun of it are cool as well, just enough are giving me lion or sabretooth here.

This reminds me of how the Prophecy masks were designed. The features were greatly exaggerated but they still read what creatures they're based on. One good example is the lion mask, even though it doesn't have the mammalian teeth structure, the design alone is enough to say that it's inspired by the liondog statues, which ARE inspired by the lions

This is pretty in line to how some cultures potray the animals in the carvings, they would exaggerate some features as symbolism or aesthetic purposes

be that as it may that's the prophecy masks, the fortune masks don't work like that, they've always been reasonably accurate representations of the animal they're based on in a minimalist style
the odd, statue-esque boxiness isn't what we associate with fortune masks, it's a big reason why the dragon mask last year was called for a redesign; while the mask itself wasn't bad it was a big departure from the sleek, almost graceful vibe people look for in fortune masks

the way I see it is they made the season in collaboration with the IP owners, so all that stuff had to be pre-approved + it could have stipulated in the contract that they cannot be amended after implementation in the game.
it could just be that tgc needs to get a new contract signed or negotiations made for them and that stuff takes time.

Void room oob was the dubbed name for the big empty space you could explore that the darker side quests for moomin are set in. It's patched out now, but it was pretty big and vast. Had a lot of cool unfinished quest parts scattered about

Daylight Prairie's day/night system has no coherence, it doesn't make sense that there are only certain places to have this day/night system, it should be all over the map to really have coherence and not just in certain places, I know that This is to not interfere with the experience of new players, but then only activate this system if the player has completed Eden.

To me the problem with day n night cycle following your real time is that if you always play at a fixed time for example during night (like me), parts of daylight prairie will always be dark. I'd like if the cycle is a lil slower slower but don't follow the irl timezone
So you can experience daylight cycle when you're playing :D

I think the Aviary cycle is fine with me, but it's just weird that sunrise and fog is muuuch shorter than noon/sunset imo

I would genuinely love a SkyKatamari collaboration of some kind. It feels like both Sky and Katamari are in the same reality's cosmos.

I would love a Katamari prop that you can roll and that candle wax balls temporarily stick to it "rolled up" before absorbing into the player as candle wax.

A cousin head accessory that would be colorable in the dye workshop to make the cousin head any color to imitate other cousins that aren't The Prince would be super cool too. A cousin antenna could be an accessory too for those who don't want the head and just want the antenna. A colorable pants bodysuit that mimicks the cousin attire would go perfect with these.

There could be a royal rainbow cape that has the pattern of The King of All Cosmos's dazzling headpiece could feature a teleport similar to the Little Prince, AURORA, or Nine Colored Deer capes.

The cape teleport could take us to an area where The King is giant looking down at us in a pretty colorful land similar to the Princedom in Beautiful Katamari but as one big walled-in area, and all the cousins from every game are NPCs the size of Sky chibis, walking around and interacting kinda like how Sky spirits do. A few different patterned Katamaris could be laying in this area that could be pushed around. A few more smaller Katamaris could be like the clam shells or flippable rocks in realms of Sky that have hidden wax in them.
With enough flight energy, we could fly up to The King and climb his head and sit there and see that we're actually out in space with stars all around, and that the area we were inside of is a floating space land. In the distance of the background he's facing, you could see what appears to be the Sky Orbit trail.

I genuinely want this so bad because I have loved Katamari since I was 6, and I got into Sky at 21 and it reminds me of Katamari so deeply because of the spiritual space stuff. I yearn for this collaboration. I'd buy every item, tickets or IAP.

I would say the front locks look too heavy rn (esp the 1st one, can cause clipping on the animal masks especially the snake) so I think they could be a lil bit smaller (or same design as the revival locs/ sneak's hairstyle) then it would be nicely balanced :D

Android and iOS are not connected, so you can only re-qualify for the test. Unfortunately, iOS has not been qualified for almost two years

Nope, they can still update and change things in the beta seasons after their break.

If I'm not wrong or misremembering, I remember there were some changes to the fortune dragon mask as well as the 9cd mask bundle sometime just after the holidays.

Given that the latest update was many days ago, I'm sure they've been working on changes behind the scenes and have yet to roll out the update for now.

i don't think that's allowed either, but you can use the discord search to look for messages in the #beta-screenshots-videos channel that make mention of the cosmetics you're looking for

something like the invisible cape had been a beta staple for long enough, there's gotta be at least one message that'd come up

You cant ask for beta content in the outfit channel, regardless if it will/wont happen in the live version, as poison said you can simply ask for trials/stormlocked/etc, there are many ways to be capeless without the invisible cape

at least I vividly remember that assembly gang was added to beta for a 3 day period after the fact

I wish they'd allow all colored pieces to cosmetics be changeable.
I want to be able to make the yeti pants' fur black for example, or make a cosmetic only green and pink. Having unchangeable assets is a bit conflicting to how I'd like to dye things. Every color should be able to be changed on an item.
Also yes I already put this in feedback literally just now, so you don't need to tell me to do that.

Have you tried using piggyback rocket to go where you’re suggesting? Last I checked, rocket has been modified in such a way that you can’t make it go sideways anymore — it just spins you in circles instead (I.e. it can’t be used to go through wind walks anymore)

But I have wondered especially with feast in live how it'll look with the new layout, the flags around the maypole being all festive and decorated with lights looks really beautiful in winter time in the centre of aviary so it'll be weird to not have those there

There's nothing exciting about Aviary seasons except Revival. I've felt this way ever since Nesting but this is just my opinion. Nesting was really not a season I liked and it just skyrocketed my burnout to an all-time high that I'm not sure I'll ever recover from because there's so many things shoved in my face at once and yes, I am aware it's there permanently. But when they keep altering the way things "restock" in the Nesting shop itself and then soon introduce (if they haven't already) colored props, it kinda makes it hard to stay invested in the game.

I'm just suffering from one of the worst burnouts in my life currently and have been feeling very down into the holidays as well.

Enough about me though, Duets? It was fine, but at least Radiance is still going to step it up a bit with spirits again. But the fact that they're just... reused spirits gives me an empty feeling that they could have done more. I suppose it's better than nothing though.

I personally like seeing the gratitude spirits brought back since they never actually had any quest they were involved in. I feel like it gives them a little more love, especially being some of the first spirits brought with a season.

I will say I really like the open grassy space in place of the event shop personally, it's much better than a dark and enclosed space. And the grass ✨️

The cape, yes. The scarf, no.

The cape is a gradient, whatever color you choose will be faded into the bottom edge of the cape (not the fur edging). The cape remains red, just with a hint of another color at the bottom.
