That’s definitely a rumor. The way to join the beta program—when invites eventually open up at some point—is to follow the steps outlined in #beta-faq. Absolutely no purchases required, ever.

If anyone is telling you that you need to buy something to get into beta, they are either lying, spreading rumors, or trying to scam you.
#beta-faq on the official server explains all the steps to join beta, but places only become available when invites are announced on the official server, by staff.
And no, we do not have schedules to share about when invites will open

I play in a large android tablet with super amoled screen. We may have different opinion but sky on android dont have that good graphics even if you are in a high end device. Graphics is really crappy and blur at high definition in the live game (at least in my tablet).
This new implementation of graphics (for tablet screen at least) is really good. The game looks so beautiful in my super amoled screen. For devices who may not handle crisp graphics, there are resolution toggles. The fps can be toggled too.

And if your seeing issues, doing bug reports would help the developers optimize the game better I think. Especially when it comes to overheating problems.

There is a long method of finding the app in play store to reinstall.
Play store > your pfp at top right corner > manage app and devices > manage tab > tap on the first rectangle that should say "this device" and select "not installed". See if the beta app in the list. You have to be logged in as the google account you used to register for beta.

My game runs so much better with 60 fps option in highest resolution, rather than the old 20 fps I used to be capped at

For some reason the game - even at 20 fps, used to lag A LOT, fps drops, camera felt heavy, etc

But with the fps capped at 60, the game actually performs better overall and doesn't lag as much as it used to

I'm so glad we're now able to change our FPS freely, instead of being automatically capped, because our devices are low end

Not for me so far. My tablet is just struggling to get 60 fps at default & high performance resolution. High definition is expected since in live, it only runs at 30 fps. But for the two, it's mostly running at 30-34 when setting fps to 60.

But when Im playing in Samsung Dex in a connected monitor, fps is quite alright. Although I notice resolution difference. The monitor is only 1080p while the one in my tablet is higher based from how the game resolution differs.

I think the big problem comes with "old home". I really believe the name should be changed to something else. Either Home Island, or something more interesting. I propose something like "Ocean Shrine" or "Island of the Seas."

The information we have in Two Embers is notoriously inconsistent. In fact, it was originally slated to release this year.

The word collab could either mean simply working with another studio, or Sky's whole thing with collab seasons. The first one fits far better.

I might be wrong, though. It hinges on if the animation of the Switch Trailer looks too different from the modern Two Embers content. Because Illusorium is credited with the switch trailer, but nothing else.

Well, temporary iaps could mean that they the earnings would go to the studio they collabed with for the animation. Like extra revenue for the animators as a gesture of appreciation for them

Why not have such a thing be a permanent IAP then? Unlike Moomin, TGC will have virtually all the power on specific in-game stuff. If they do something like that, I would be very surprised and appalled.

Also, it makes more sense that they used a different animation studio for the Two Embers. Why make a show with a studio that specializes in trailers?

I tested majority of the chat props and most require a specific angle/position in order to place down, the fire props still work properly. Seems like the bon fire can't be used to pop buns anymore, can't place it at the placemats but you can still put it down on the table.

It sounds more like a tweak with the prop positioning for shared space thingies rather than the ban cuz you said it required specific angles (maybe I'm wrong lol, cuz the bonfire got angled up a lot bc of large size on an uneven surface)

Green: heart= love and compassion
