That’s unfortunately an issue many android players are experiencing as well. The only thing your friend can do is bug report it, and wait .

Ok i never said beta was excluded but there should be like a screen to ask everyone to read the rules first before they can even join beta or any channel that has rules to avoid this kind of confusion that can lead to some people explaining the rules and being rude to others thinking its way too obvious when its not
Not everyone will see things the same way as any of you do and like me a bit of beta testers might be only focused on back reading the stuff related to the things that are being tested right now and with those messages being that old I don't think it's correct to say it's literally in the rules of beta when you have to literally scroll up a lot or figure it out by asking someone that those rules are somewhere in the chat

This worked at least as of a couple years ago—if you made a backup of your device at some point, you could restore that backup, and you should be able to play on your old account again. (Obviously, that will also restore the rest of your device to the settings at the time the backup was made, so consider how this might affect other apps before you go ahead with this

This happened to me too, watched the Aviary arrival/landing cutscene again with all my items and wings intact lol but I kept being told to "return to the hopeful steward" even though I already revived the area weeks ago. Had to re-log into beta for home to go back to its usual condition... but then I got spammed with server error prompts so had to log out again

Crashes can be really stubborn bugs because any number of things can cause them—the bug that led to the crash bug on Monday's build might be different from the bug that caused the crash on Wednesday's build, for example.

Just the daily quests are accessible at Home in Live (and they were there for me before the Hotfix). The seasonal candle is in Aviary in a new, closer in, location, but it’s still tied to a player’s progress in seasonal quests as before. So, if you have only done a couple of quests, you’re still out of luck.

Agreed. I honestly feel like having the option to change from spawning in Home to Aviary was a bad decision to begin with. It will split where players spawn, and will therefore limit serendipitous meetings between players who don’t regularly play together – i.e. spawn together in Home: say hi, decide to play together… Anyway, my 2¢

Yk what I wish we could've gotten to see, the og in-development version of project aviary, and it honestly makes me weirdly sad just how different the final version of aviary wound up. It went from an entire full on village to a bunch of hobbit houses built into the ground

Correction: during Season of Revival testing, there was a long period of time where players could collect 8 seasonal candles per realm instead of the normal 4 for beta, as they had put in 2 seasons worth of rotations for seasonal candle bunches. It wasn’t tied to any events ongoing in the live version of Sky

To answer the original question, it’s unlikely we’ll see this return, as it was probably not intentional, though it may have been done to help with the more expensive per node prices during Revival

about aviary and the earlier extras that was available in beta early testing, to me its pretty obvious its for later on? like the areas still exists its just covered up, just like how they purposely make an entire under construction audio visual at one of the houses

its my opinion but i feel like that the current aviary is far more superior than what is shown in the trailer, but i do get the attachment and feeling you can feel from the trailer, it has a more cozy vibe with the taller buildings and surroundings giving shade in the bright lighting, but all the buildings are just reused models from their toolbox (not that its a bad thing), but the current aviary is more original and gives more variety of the architecture of the realms

I miss that village in the trailer so much. When I saw the trailer of the Avuary project I was so excited, but now I feel disappointed by the result having seen how beautiful it was in the trailer... Being an evolving project I really hope that TGC understands this and makes the Aviary village like in the trailer or for at least much more similar. Even the river at the beginning, the boats, everything was more beautiful.

Responding from #beta-screenshots-videos about the Aviary discussion: I think y'all are misunderstanding the definition of "false advertising". False advertising would be if the devs told us that was exactly what we're getting and then we don't get it at all. In the case of Aviary, it was stated multiple times that the Project Aviary trailer is "in-development footage" and therefore not final. Also, just because older versions of Aviary and the Project Aviary trailer looked cool doesn't mean the current version isn't also cool. As much as I would love the older versions, the current one is 100% my new hangout spot and is a major stepup from Homespace

i've already discussed this countless times with people, but their only argument is "the in-development was better than what we got, then it doesn't make sense"

when the "better" in question is totally up to each individual people's tastes

people usually don't even try to think about how complex game development and game design is, many and almost all changes made to a game have a reason, and a thought proccess behind it, for example, the devs already explained the reason why the gates are more like the old home, instead of the OG aviary, or the actual village part in the trailer i mentioned earlier, even if you prefer that version, that was the most clear example of it being a "work-in-progress", since it was undoubtely and clearly just the dreams' village towers copy and pasted, with only the exterior showing, because they had not yet came up with an actual design for it, which we got one for the current version.

even disregarding that, things like this are 100% up to personal tastes, and claiming that the design choice you like is better and should be the chosen one is not:

1 - not gonna help give actual insight to the developers
2 - not gonna make the developers not hear your feedback
3 - it is going to encourage toxic conversations

It's completely ok to talk about what you like and dislike, but as long as it is in a respectful way

(idk how the aviary discussion is going on rn, but i've seen many toxic discussions about it, and people trying to be superior about their tastes and opinions, forgetting that this game is all about the diversity of others, accepting that diversity and creating meaningful bonds... and with diversity, also comes the diversity in how people feel, think and experience things)

Personally the things I find better about the in-dev aviary compared to the one we got were 1, the river, 2, actual trees with leaves, 3, actual buildings (even if they were just the dreams tower copied and pasted it still wasn't just dug out hills) and uhh... yeah that's basically it

That’s unfortunately an issue many android players are experiencing as well. The only thing your can do is bug report it, and wait .

I don't think anyone really knows the set time just because it would probably be bad for us to know and just only be active to not get kicked out as opposed to actually testing actively.

I believe though it takes quite a long time for you to be booted. For example, my app auto updates usually, but for pretty much all of November one year I was inactive in beta because I was preparing for final exams. Didn't get kicked out. So best advice is just to test when you can and not worry about being kicked out. If you do, you can always get back in.

(Also I just doubt anyone would get kicked for just this short time where most people and Android users are struggling to do things in beta... It's not our fault if we can't test due to bugs like this lol )

Hi there. Question. Any trick to do the shoe/boot superimpose on clothing if you have them all?
I can do it in Beta because I don't have all the clothing but I do in live

Same issue - one option I’ve found that works is to wear your target outfit > use an outfit spell that allows shoes to be paired with it (rainbow suspender pants, mischief witch tunic, etc) > wear target shoes > cancel the spell. But since spells are obviously so limited, I’d love to find another workaround too

Revival ends on December 31st, however the beginning of Season of Nine-Coloured Deer is unknown.

We’ll likely see a much more close to finished build in the final week of 2023 at the earliest, first week of 2024 at the latest, TGC can start the season whenever they want really, but they are on break right now so no beta builds. before that we got a new season to test, then it was weekend, then after a couple of days they went into holidays break

We all gotta understand that the devs are humans too and need a break especially during the holidays

if it was really needed for them to release an update now, they would, really.

they've already done it in a weekend because it was necessary

only thing i'm actually worried is if we're gonna have enough time to test it and help the devs polish the season as much as possible

TGC not releasing a beta update during holidays break doesn't means they don't care about us, that truly doesn't make any sense, TGC devs are not evil corpos, even if you really think TGC is an evil corporation, their developers are just hired humans that work with all their love and put their feelings into it
