That is true. But the Isle of Dawn cave murals do say something about darkness taking hold of the infinite light, so I like to think we as Sky kids don't remember anything when it did take hold of us, leaving us on the brink of death with our so-called infinite light we held to ourselves dearly.

Lorechat have been theorising about a "split" it's often between us and hug in the void, but could equally be king/prince, prince/us, king/us, whoever the prophecy is about, and part of that is the shinybois ingame are called "lost memories" that give "winged light" after watching a new player start a few weeks back.
Could be they are all connected to us.

I'm pretty sure it's up to interpretation, but like Sof has said before it IS the cycle of rebirth, so even when we're born for the first time ever in the game, it isn't our first time I believe. We've probably been around for as long as time existed, hence why we can take many shapes and forms, but only if we are taught to do so by our Ancestors.

also slightly off topic, but i find the past 2 season’s differences a little funny; during moments, i was talking to myself a little about how the area wasn’t very moth-friendly (the swimming ability, and those crazy tall mountains) but this season tgc seems to really be trying to change the new moth experience, or focusing on it a lot (the whole new cutscene)

Can’t say I feel the same way about it: the terminology would be what the fandom came up with, whereas the exact visual design is where the work was put into the cosmetics. I could see an argument being made to have them as event currency items, but I don’t feel particularly strongly about whether they’re paid or IGC.

There’s also the fact that you stop looking like an actual fresh newbie player when you’re wearing fancier cosmetics like that, so I don’t actually associate them very much with the community terms that much

I’m actually now thinking those cosmetics are going to cause confusion, because now it’s going to be like “oh look at that moth…no, not the newbie, the other kind of moth”. They’re completely different concepts in my mind, because while Sky newbies have a certain charm to them, I am not fond of actual real life moths at all. But more to the point, I see them more as just another set of themed cosmetics, rather than making me think of newbies or the community.

That's valid too, some will see them as themed cosmetics, but I think the importance is about where that theme comes from - it's really cool they've actualised fan ideas especially in this particular timeframe of aviary, it just feels like appreciation for the community to bring out cosmetics and areas that we've been yelling about for a few years but it would feel even better if the packs were accessible to all

Ideally it would be permanent so new players who join have access too, I think in my mind it would be like free completely for accessibility but I don't know how feasible it would be to have them not cost igc. Hearts would be cute cause it would be like investing and the whole friends gifting each other hearts to get the cute thing, but hearts are historically not easy to collect and not everyone sees them as wholesome currency as they're intended

The more I think about my suggestion the more I realise there'd be a lot of different things to consider, but I just wish we could have something that feels like a wholesome exchange for community items

Yeah I think when I've talked with other friends they've said similar things about they'll pay for the items but they wish they could be accessible for everyone and not everyone can afford to buy things in games, it's a bit of a luxury and I'm grateful I have the ability

1. Friends list can't be seen in the Avairy Village constellation pad. Have to warp to the original home space to view friends list to get the light they send
2. When warping back to the original home space we're all used of, sky kid can be found under the constellation pad. Can get out by jumping or flying.

Hello hello, having a little issue here. My friend is sort of a moth, but they have every realm unlocked + Eden like, a WHILE ago.

The cutscene of this season hasn't appeared for them, so the portal won't show for them, even if they have the season pass. Daily quests won't appear as well.

I'd like to know if there's something you have to do to get it open (the portal), like doing Eden or something. Or if anyone has had this sort of experience. Thanks in advance.

I'm finding that we're starting to lose a lot of the "fallen kingdom" or "ruins of civilisation" charm that the game initially had earlier on before some of the more recent updates and as we clear seasonal quests to "restore" their respective map areas (particularly with the areas that utilise Festival Tech). Kind of really wanting some kind of "time portal" mechanic where we can go explore areas in a previous state even after restoring them, because that was really a big expectation I had when this new season was first announced in beta (the original layout of the Eden gate in the "Project Aviary" trailer was really making me think we'd be able to explore some areas closer to their Light Awaits forms)

I love the new intro sequence for Sky, but I have two main things I want to change:

-The music awkwardly cuts off when you hit the ground in the beginning, and the theme is a bit too triumphant for what’s happening. Maybe a more mysterious track could fit.

-The intro in quest 3 is a delightful easter egg to veterans, but it’s mostly redundant to moths. The messages it conveys are the exact same in the Isle intro

what if there was a rotating season shop in Aviary where if you have extra season candles (which is always possible), you could buy older season items??
Maybe an option to either leave them as season candles or transfer them into normal candles immediately? Depends on the player, if they're a vet they can keep transferring to candles, but if they're new and want older items, they'll have a chance to buy them at a rotating store, instead of traveling spirits with only a 3 day chance? What if the rotating shop changed each week?

I think TGC mistakenly removed the Crabula cape in our Beta account
It should be the Crab Cape that's been removed, cuz we still have the crab cape in Beta, but it never went to live

I don't think they removed it by mistake, it's probably literally a bug that it vanished

If there was anything to compare it with, since only the cape wedges changed, the gossamer cape never vanished from our inventory despite having switched to the green spiderweb cape wedge
Crabula underwent the same kind of change but poofed instead.

We do not know what the actual dev decision for why the original crab cape is still in beta but it's not the first time this has happened with residual assets

You could always leave more feedback and hope they bring it another time! They shuffled things around during the last few days (time is a social construct but I think we only had a few days or so left) of testing and maybe they felt the cape no longer fit what they wanted but I'll forever miss the crabby wedges cause the crabula wedges for live are slightly more angy and less roumd

I'm having a problem when i try to open the beta at the play store, and this problem also make me being unable to update it. everytime i try to open the beta at the play store it shows "something went wrong. try again" and it's been like this for 2 weeks. i've tried so many things but it still shows the same thing. is there anything else i can try do to do to make it work?

It's an interesting choice of focus, but also logical: Flight paths are very handy, Musical Hall is fun, Moments gives you a camera and well, Dreams is just superior storytelling

That's a pity he doesn't offer a warp, because Aviary's current progression seems like a great way of making it a fast-travel hub if they're going to gather most of the seasonal questgivers there: having them all offer warps to their respective seasonal areas would allow for an easy access point while also allowing TGC to put the "proper in world" access points for new seasonal areas deeper into its related realm without having access issues

Oh yeah this is the main problem i have when trying to teach moth. Some might know you can search for guides on Youtube, but most of the time they just quit halfway. It's kinda hard to explain some quests on text too
The concept is good but you will need a lot more work to make sure player know what they're doing.
