Iirc that hasn’t happened yet. Everytime I was in a server with a switch player in Live, the shard completed at the same time - but this one did not?

I do wish they'd come back. If people really want to keep exclusivity then they should be happy with pendants staying exclusive. Keeping ults exclusive is sad. New players will have missed 18(?) Seasons? 💀

I also want them to come back so the debate will die I don't usually have the energy to argue with people. Especially in gen chat where you can just get pinged a billion times at once and it gets stressful

There was someone saying that it wouldn't be profitable because players would no longer buy the passes since they could get the ults after anyways like people buy passes because they want the items... Plus if tgc brought ults back, and made it so you could only get them after 100% all the TS for the season you missed, then the pressure to buy would still be there since... Spirits can take cough cough saluting protector and now dancing performer cough THREE YEARS to rerun after their season ends.

Also if tgc made the IAP ult bundles a little more expensive than the pass like 15 USD for ult bundle vs a 10 USD pass players would obviously want the pass more too just for earlier access and to not have to pay 5 USD more and wait 1-2 years to finish all the TS if they do decide they want the ults later.

AND tgc has opened up to three new platforms since 2020. They'd make money from new players joining and wanting ults from past seasons. So many players covet ults from 2020 and back because the game had only released on mobile. It was so funny to me that some people think people wouldn't buy the passes if ults were made available after the season ends.

I've been in these shoes before. Game offered exclusive never can ever get again item if you bought the game early. About a month ago item returned for cheap cheap ingame currency. I still have my item! I got to get it a whole year earlier! And now everyone can enjoy it and everyone is happier instead of focusing on making only the exclusive thing obsessed people satiated

Exactly. It would also decimate the predatory practicies in marketplaces for accounts that are old. Charging thousands for an account with deer mask and TGC doesn't get any of that money only resellers do. They could tank that market.

Also players who got the passes and didn't finish could finish with TS and get the ult bundle in shop for free since they already had the pass. My friend joined during prophecy and didn't get to finish by one spirit and missed Anubis. She should get her ult.

I love games that treat people who dont have money to buy iaps and weren't a player from the start the same as those who were there since day 1 and are financially stable. Very few things in life can break the divide between economic and social status like that.

As someone who regrettably didn’t purchase the passes for Gratitude- Belonging. I have purchased every seasonal pass since. I want the pendants too. Because I want to collect all the cosmetics in this game.

Because I have a fear of missing out I wish people would be more open about wanting this idea because it eliminates people preying on others and offering them money, eliminates people wanting to break the game, and eliminates this sense of “I am better then everyone because I have this item”.
Pros is brings more money, helps players who joined the game later. It also helps get rid of the FOMO for players who can’t even get on as much

Seeing the gatekeeping for the ultimates is so sad to me because they make ultimates the whole point of the game when really its making friends? I don't get the 'hard work for the ults' argument either, what hard work have you done that's harder than a non SP player that played the season but couldn't afford it or was a moth and didn't understand better until too late?
Bringing back ults could work easily cos you could just, finish all the TS trees from a specific season and then get access to buy the ults for the same price the SP is? It would be the same hard work put in as during the time the season came out !
The 'exclusivity' everyone talks about just sounds like people wanting to be better than newer players.. this isn't the point of the game,,

Yeah, I don't see myself getting Flight Ultimates anytime soon with the rate at which they're coming back as TS. It could just take forever. But honestly, yeah. I'm all for them coming back and I know TGC needs money to support the game so this is a great opportunity to bring them back. It can be a rotation, too. Doesn't have to be all at once, either.

I just was saying if tgc really wanted to somehow appease to those who want ults to not come back for the sake of feeling special then just let them have the pendants and leave it at that. I even have said we could get a modified version of the pendants where just the necklace cord changes (like how it's a diamond studded necklace for original and maybe the revised version for iap ult packs be studded squares instead but the pendant is the same).

IF, THEORETICALLY, they were bringing back old ultimates this season, then they should, in my opinion, put in a shop in Aviary Village and be on a daily rotation but it's completely random which ultimates are offered that day, however the player who views these items by the mannequins or display within the shop have the ability to preview or use the item(s) in the store. Just my opinion, though. This is just something I think wouldn't be implemented, but rather a concept to start with, maybe? Then see how the playerbase feels about it. Of course the old ultimates will indeed cost money to buy, but they can be bought separately too.

There were some significant differences between what we saw in the Project Aviary trailer and what we're currently seeing at the moment, assuming they're one and the same. I'm actually not sure if was wise for them to have released the trailer visuals if we're going to end up with something significantly different by the end (while they might be saving the trailer version of the area as something to be unlocked later, that's not what I'm led to believe right now based on how many of the same elements we're already seeing in the current area)

The two biggest differences that jump out at me from the trailer were the small flowing canal with boats flowing along them, as well as the different topology around the Eden gate (there were passages that led downwards underground, rather than the regular Home gates we have right now). I can't really see those kinds of differences being implemented at a later date when the 3D modelling had already been done for a trailer that was released prior to what we're testing right now, and the area looks similar enough to what we have now yet geographically different enough that it looks like a different interpretation of the same area that won't make sense being implemented alongside what we already have -- that's the main reason I feel like aspects of the trailer visuals have been scrapped from what we can see right now.

100% agree. And can I just add that the "i paid real money for this" argument is pretty invalid as well? The price of a season pass, at least in my country, is below one hour of minimum wage of work for an adult, and a little below that of a child. So in a way, its comparing one hour of working a real job to way more hours of farming in a game for candles. Its a different level of hardship but the difference in time investment is still huge. So judging by time investment, newer players do more than the OG players to deserve ultimates. Just a different perspective on it, I'd say

The amount of wait put in waiting for the TS and also considering how the prices for the TS differ from the seasonal candle prices - making you CR more and do longer CR's compared to when u CR for seasonal and do dailies
During the season people had whole month to get a spirit
Now we get 4 days to get all TS cosmetics and some still miss out on the cosmetics so they wait for it to come back a 2nd time

Alright so right click on windows start and you'll see almost at the top Event Viewer, click on that and check for any recent Errors or Critical in Overview, it should show what the errors or criticals are about
If you see some stuff in Application section, open the Windows Logs on the left and then go Application
It should show up the issue there and see if its from Steam or just overall about Sky

3d animation is very hard, so I can see why most of the animators at TGC cut corners by ussing the preset emotes instead of custom rigging the modules for every spirit

It's like 2d animation and tweening, tweening isnt lazy on the animators part it's a another way to make the animation a little easy on the workers and make some of the 2d animation more fluent

And I'm assuming it has to do with budget too and time managment, tgc already pumps out events and updates pretty quickly compared to other game companies, and they aren't the biggest too
so if they were to try to make achaul full animations of spirits it would completely overtake them.

Just checked the minimum of PC stats out of curiosity for Sky and I'm Surprised. Didn't expected such Stats for PC, I thought it would be lower when it's also on phones.
Only thing that's a little behind is my graphics card (why always the graphics card??)

Hey all, taking a break from my current crab research project for a second:

Video game modding (as in modification) for Sky is against the game's TOS, and our server rules against discussing TOS-breaking behavior haven't changed. Those rules apply also to the conversations that have popped up the last couple days related to modding the PC version.

I need to ask folks to not bring up the topic anymore—we may remove posts without warning if they continue to bring the topic up.
