Beta is famous for having all kinds of silly bugs that would never happen in live. That's because all the different teams are working on all the things at once, and we have to get a build out for testing as soon as we reasonably can. We can't spend the same amount of time carefully checking each beta build that we do to check live builds. That's simply a fact of beta

You've probably hear us joke ("joke" ) about how when we fix one bug, three other bugs spring up from that fix. Big huge complex game, programming and fixing things can get weird. Just game dev stuff.

Suppose that for beta testing, before we released a build, we gave it the same very careful scrutiny and extra checking that we gave a live build. We got rid of as many bugs as possible before releasing it out into the testing wilds. Then we'd get feedback from y'all, and would want/need to go change things.

And bam—in the course of making improvements and fixing bugs not detectable or resolvable based on internal testing alone, that would create another round of unexpected bugs. In other words, all that time at the beginning of the process to squash as many bugs as possible? Would have been a big waste of time. Better to get out something that is basically testable but imperfect, so that we can make changes and fixes for multiple things at once, basically

It's a set batch of cosmetics that are actually timezone based
Two people of the same timezone will get the exact same rotations for 24 hrs
If you change your mobile device's timezone you can also manipulate what cosmetic rotations appear at the event closet

Because if I got a specific set at 12pm, other people got the exact same thing at their 12pm

TL;dr if you mess around with time travel like animal crossing, you can get the exact set you want to see

its hard to say, but we likely wont be seeing a pc beta email until next week or even the following week (or even later), but if youre not sure if your PC can handle it, then I would say wait for main sky because beta will likely be very buggy

I think PC beta will be a very small number of testers, just like Switch. So they might want to be as efficient as possible and not accept testers with lower specs

Can't say I understand the schedule myself, but it's intentional to overlap - I honestly just rely on using the guide to teleport me I don't think it ever appears in more than one place apart from the bugged eden one and so far we've only seen hermit and forest brook

we only got the first build on the 19th though so we haven't actually seen nest yet since we missed 17th/18th so this actually makes most sense now 💡

According to other tests, when the concert mode is "activated" (yk, aurora stands at home) only some IAPs are available, that being the wings of aurora, that corset dress, and the gummy lookin cape
Keep in mind you need to finish all the aurora quests to unlock the wings of aurora so beta moths better do that in advance!

if this one is the same as the last beta aurora test, you actually don't have to complete any of the aurora quests to get the gold wings, they just became available for grabbing after the concert finale. source: me i didn't feel like doing any quests but still got the wings after watching the concert lol

You're right. I also hope they make the specific shared memory only 1 day instead of 2 so it can be removed the next day. Like that we'll be able to let the shared memory stay for a day and maybe get enough likes for a heart. (And to collect the tickets)

There's 4 top hats out in the open by the runway, 1 that spawns after creating a runway shared memory, and 1 that spawns after viewing someone else's runway memory. (At least, that's how it's supposed to be )
