About my post attempting to help saying "Please don't try to unlock the ultimate season hat in this build"—this is another good example of beta being beta whether you're the beta-updates post reader or writer. It turned out that with all the other changes made, it didn't cause the issues we thought it would with accounts that already had the hat. The moral of the story for us all, me included , is Beta Gonna Beta.

Like others pointed out, the nature of beta means that no one will be able to get everything. That is just how beta is, so I'd encourage folks to accept that as part of the great beta adventure. Trying to keep All The Cosmetics! is going to be an exercise in frustration.

And, like I've said before, our teams rely on getting feedback and bug reports on new beta content quickly so that we have time to iterate on it. The more folks wait until near the end of a testing wave to try a new item, the less we have to work with.

Uh often in the past if we buy the season ultimate gifts too early and the devs make any changes to the currency prices or add or remove anything, those people who have bought the items early will not be able to buy it again because there is no way to get those season hearts back in beta

(it's still the same this season and I do believe I remember seeing a warning from devs in previous patch notes this season to not yet buy the ultimate gifts since they were being worked on still, so I do believe that is what happened to you too if I am reading your message right)

Best beta advice is to stay away from the ultimate rewards in a season until all the cosmetic side of the season is relatively complete. This is due to the function of seasonal hearts, as there is always a set amount that you cannot exceed, thus if anything changes to ultimate gift prices, or a new gift is introduced you may miss out on an ultimate or 2.

beta STAR pin testing! I tried to bind a new pin to beta and got the same "TAG_NOT_REGISTERED_OR_VALIDATED" prompt like we get for pins already bound to live which leads me to conclude that pins just can't be used in beta
