So I did the test in the coliseum. I didn’t enjoy it at all as it was just pure chaos. Couldn’t join my friends so I could at least play with them, playing solo wasn’t fun because there were swarms of ghosties around me. The only thing that made it good was the concert and I could listen to the music.

Well, in my defense one of them is an irl friend who I met before playing sky, so maybe that plays into it

biggest reason why im kind of an introvert in real life is because i don't quite feel comfortable with my own body and the way people see it, they never see me from what i really am, but in sky i have my main outfit, which kind of resembles what i feel like inside, so i feel more comforable with talking to people, also i don't have to use my voice so....

back to beta, i love how we are getting so many content in the past few months and it just doesn't stop coming, and it's not even bad quality content, the opposite actually things are getting way bigger lately and even more polished than what we were used to get, specially in beta since they just go: "oh, so, here is all the massive content we've been working for a while, take it" and then just drop it all on top of us 😭

not complaining though, it just felt like the new contents are never stopping, and i'm all here for it

Yes it is beta, nothing permanent, chance of progress wipe. Last time there was news about future home space, where people might have access to all past ultimates and not everyone was happy. To me bonfire was so awesome, i fell in love when i first saw it when i was a moth, i keep questioning why i could not have the chance to have it. It can be chat prop also recharge. I often go exploring so recharging item is like a must. But also sometimes if i encounter people who needs help, a chat prop would be useful to talk to them and adjust what and how much help i can offer. Its like the ultimate UG ever exist (my pov 🥹). I really hope ug returns can be received positively so tgc does not worry to make it return to live.

I liked the aurora concert, it was the best thing ever, but as a season, Aurora was kinda... Weak for me, i have a certain difficulty to follow the stories told by spirits, even more when i have to constantly follow a sphere, and it felt too much simple for me

That's why as a season i don't like aurora too much

I'm only not counting the concert as part of the season because i can still access it at any time because i bought the cape, so it just feels like a regular element of the game now

Aurora Concert was a lot better for me, i'd say to this day it's still THE BEST gaming experience i've ever had, i didn't had to follow a sphere, and for most of the time i could just leave my controller and enjoy the concert without doing almost anything

I havent really taken the time to appreciate the cinematic-ness of Sky until recently so I can agree about the not doing anything and still getting the full experience being amazing
Genuinely the camera in sky is one of the most cinematic ive ever seen, its insane

The first time i really took notice was going down the slope into wasteland graveyard, and I noticed the camera turned to focus on the pipe to the broken ship before returning back to normal, like my goodness it's so subtle but so well done

If you go into beta for the rewards and are upset when you don't get any or miss out, then i don't think beta is for you
Beta is volunteer work, we do it expecting no rewards, and because it's something we want to do

anyone remember the bug from asteroid jacket? Where if one person in the map uses it, it teleports all players in the area?
There is similar accidents now in live ver, but this time many complained they suddenly moved to elder scene OOB. Any beta tester own elder pin, maybe if you own it can see if this kind of bug occured again? I do not know how to bring this up in live conversation because similar incident were in beta in the past.

Aside from random bug encounters, it’s always good to take a look at the list of new additions and try them out.

Quick question, so my bf signed up for beta testing with me while it was still open, so he is able to download the app but couldn't until today because of his internet. Now it keeps on showing him an error message when he tries to create an account, can he now not play the beta because it's too late?

If he has an Android, then it should work if he got the invite and was accepted for it. Usually, a message appears saying you can't play if you're not in beta, but if you're getting an error message then try restarting the device and clearing the cache for the game.

Did he try it yesterday during the test? If so, we all got server errors too. Maybe try it at different times and see, because if he's just getting a server error then that sounds like he's okay. The Sky Beta app wouldn't even get that far if you weren't in beta.

the timer thing also applies to the event timers because there was an instance earlier in testing when an event ended a day earlier prematurely, hence “don’t trust the timers”

Can't just TGC preserve the spirit for 24 hrs that gives us the Fire Plce Prop. After the event, it was super laggy and I decided to claim it later. But I forgot, and the spirit Disappear after reset I assume.

Also it was a token of appreciation to those who helped out during the playtest, so they probably didn't want to give it to everyone! I understand it was quite buggy and that's unfortunate but nothing we can do about it.

Because you can’t get past IAP’s anymore. Aurora concert IAP’s became briefly available during testing last year, and semi-accidentally last playtest. It’s not possible anymore

a little clarification, you can't get the collaboration licensed IAPs anymore (aurora, little prince, etc), you can get event IAPs when that event comes around again (mischief, bloom, tgc anniversary, etc.)

It's understandable to feel upset about the changes and worry about feedback not being heard when we don't see it implemented, sometimes for better or worse our feedback might not change the outcome in the end, but that's really all we can do in the meantime is to leave feedback and wait and see

I don't think they'll want to stop people from being able to create outfits we've known and loved some for years now, but the changes to accessories and such is a big new upheaval from what we're used to and it'll take time for them to get it right, hopefully they can accommodate past beloved outfit combinations whilst allowing for more variety with however it develops

Oh, I think the tasks in the new season are too difficult, especially for players who don't have enough energy. The process is a bit cumbersome: pWow: I was surprised to find that there was no hint in the task, and players had to find everything themselves.

Personally, I feel that the process is not very reasonable and needs to be optimized again.

So I was testing out the memory candles again and:

• When you delete a previous one -> server errors

• when you record a new one, the “recorded message” isn’t hidden. Your friend things you’re talking to them

• impossible to place new message because server errors

• after you “placed” it, chat poofs BUT if you get the server error and you click “cancel” chat comes back. Not when you retry

For now it was specifically mentioned in the updates to give feedback on the new UI and stuff, and “become a fan” is better wording but I think the whole concept lacks a good foundation (why, when, how does it fit into sky, what’s the endgame with this).
